Stonhard recently completed a 14,500 sq.ft. high-performance flooring installation at an Ontario Emergency Services Building, which houses both Fire and EMS Response Teams. This upgrade enhances the durability and safety of the facility, ensuring it can withstand the rigorous demands of emergency service operations.

Stonhard utilized the following flooring and wall solutions to meet the specific needs of the facility:
• Stonkote GS4 with Mortar Coves: Applied in the majority of the space, this flooring system was chosen for its exceptional slip resistance and chemical durability, ensuring a safe and long-lasting surface.
• Stonglaze VSE (Walls) and Stonshield HRI (Floors): These solutions were applied in washroom areas, including showers, to create a seamless and protective surface, preventing water damage and maintaining hygiene.
Given the complexity of the project, multiple trades were working simultaneously to complete the installation efficiently. Stonhard’s ability to install and manage all aspects of the flooring project allowed seamless coordination with other contractors, ensuring a streamlined and timely completion.
