These were also the requirements for their facility’s flooring.

As a high-end auto dealership, Jaguar Land Rover in Moncton first wanted a tough, slip-resistant floor for their mechanical shop. Stonhard recommended Stonshield HRI which is an ultra slip-resistant flooring system that also stands up to heavy loads. The Jaguar dealership was so impressed by the professionalism of the team and look and performance of the floors, they awarded Stonhard the next project.

THE CHALLENGE This next project was more complex than the first. Jaguar Land Rover’s sidewalks were rough, low, and needed a makeover. They wanted 878 square feet of durable walkway and it had to portray elegance and luxury. After carefully assessing the concrete and the vision Jaguar had mapped out, Stonhard made recommendations to ensure an attractive and inviting look that would be durable and long lasting.

THE STONHARD SOLUTION For this exterior application, the team first jackhammered the rough concrete and used Stonclad UR, a polyurethane mortar system, to fill in the low spots. Then, the team installed Crush, a troweled system from Stonhard’s highend commercial brand, Liquid Elements, that is bold, rich, and organic, providing a sophisticated aesthetic. The result was a perfect example of design meeting strength in a uniquely distinct way.
