Played at Durham, Saturday, November 12th. This match turned out to be a fiasco, - the Durham team being much too heavy and fast. In the first half they scored 59 points. The final score was 126 ,points to nil. The backs played pluckily, Camm, Jolly, Robinson and Haynes usually getting their men. The forwards were as sleepy as usual, Foster and Reynolds excepted, the former playing well all through, and the latter in the second half. The seconds were not at full strength.
