Crwhet. SCHOOL MATCHES. SCHOOL v. YORKSHIRE GENTLEMEN. Played at Escrick Park, Wednesday, July 26th. This match was played under ideal conditions and resulted in a drawn game, slightly in the School's favour. Yardley won the toss and elected to bat on a wicket which gave the bowlers no assistance. The opening pair again gave the School an excellent start, putting on well over a hundred for the 4th time this season before being separated.
