On 18th St., Ashland to Blue Island Ave. Fri & Sat Noon-10pm, Sun Noon-9pm Located in Chicago’s historic Pilsen, the festival features food stands, local musicians performing in little plazuelitas in a .3-mile long celebration of community and unity in the city’s only outdoor cook-off celebrating over 20 participating Latinx and Mexican restaurants and food vendors; open-air mercado with local merchants, crafters, and artisans as well as music, dancing, and lucha libre wrestling.
