A Paige From My Notebook...

Dear Readers,

As we embrace February and all its charm, or should I say “chill”, it’s a perfect time to reflect on the power of connection—both personal and professional. At Strictly Business, our mission is to help local businesses connect with their audience in ways that are impactful, meaningful and lasting. In today’s fast-paced digital world, it’s easy to overlook the value of a timeless medium: print advertising.

Research continues to reveal the undeniable advantages of print advertising over its digital counterparts. Print offers a tangible, engaging experience that digital ads often struggle to replicate. Studies have shown that people spend more time reading printed materials compared to scrolling through digital ads. Print advertisements are not just seen—they’re felt, held and interacted with, creating a sensory experience that builds trust and credibility.

In fact, research from MarketingSherpa found that 82% of Americans trust print ads when making purchasing decisions, significantly higher than their trust in digital ads. Additionally, print ads are less intrusive, allowing readers to engage on their own terms, free from pop-ups and distractions. For businesses aiming to make a memorable impression, print is the medium that resonates.

At Strictly Business, we pride ourselves on the unique power of print. Each month, our pages tell the stories of local businesses, highlight

community initiatives and showcase leaders who are shaping our region’s future. These stories don’t just inform; they inspire. And in print, they live on—shared among colleagues, kept on coffee tables and revisited over time.

As we celebrate the month of love, it’s also worth noting that February is a time to nurture relationships. Just as a thoughtful Valentine’s Day card can warm someone’s heart, a well-placed print ad can make your business unforgettable. Building genuine, lasting connections—whether in love or business—requires thought, care, and the willingness to invest in what truly matters.

Speaking of Valentine’s Day, don’t forget to take a moment this month to show appreciation for those you cherish most. Whether it’s a loved one, a friend, or a client, a little kindness goes a long way in strengthening relationships.

Thank you for your continued trust in Strictly Business. We are honored to serve as a platform for connecting our community and showcasing the incredible businesses that make Lincoln and Omaha thrive. Here’s to a February filled with success, connection and a little extra love.

Warm regards,

JetSplash Car Wash is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its newest location, JetSplash #8, at 851 West O Street in Lincoln. The new location officially opened in November 2024, with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring a few Lincoln locals and longtime JetSplash fans as the honorary ribbon cutters.

Located just a mile west of downtown, JetSplash #8 marks our first car wash in this area of Lincoln, and promises to deliver the same top-notch, quick and quality car-washing experience customers have come to love. “Our West O community has been rallying for a JetSplash for years, and we’re beyond excited to finally be here,” says JetSplash owner Matt Toombs. “This location will allow us to bring our quick, friendly service to even more Lincoln residents, especially in a growing part of the city. We’re grateful for the warm welcome and can’t wait to give the West O area a place to bring their vehicles for a superior car wash experience.”

Luxury Landscape Turned Six in October!

Luxury Landscape is celebrating its sixth anniversary! One of the coowners, Jackie, shared "We started in our home garage with a home office in a small spare bedroom. The crew would clock in on a timesheet hanging in the garage and enjoy a cup of coffee in our kitchen as we discussed the day's projects! All of our tools and equipment were in a storage unit that the crew would gather before heading to a property.

We grew rapidly and realized it was evident that we needed a real shop. After a year in business, we found a shop space that was perfect for us!”

Owners Jackie and Ken still operated their office out of their home for a couple more years, until they renovated the office space attached to their shop. They moved their home office to their current office two years ago.

It’s amazing to see how far Luxury Landscape has grown in the past six years! They have an exceptional crew and have built great relationships with their customers. They wouldn't be where they are without them! Luxury Landscape has 13 employees, including a full-time office manager and is excited for the amazing projects coming up in the New Year!

If you’re looking for a unique and professional landscape experience, you’ll find partnering with one of the top landscapers in Lincoln to be a lot less work and a lot more fun! Communication Works Addresses Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders

Communication Works has increased its capacity to address orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMD), which can significantly impact oral health, facial development, speech and swallowing in the following ways:

• Dental: Light, constant tongue pressure against the teeth causes malocclusion, impacting teeth alignment and bite (e.g., crooked teeth, open bite). OMT can support orthodontic care.

• Articulation: Tongue weakness, positioning and range of motion directly impact speech sound production.

• Feeding and swallowing: Improper tongue placement and muscle coordination of the tongue, jaw, cheeks and lips can affect feeding and swallowing. Swallowing difficulties can include messy eating, excessive drooling and choking.

• Mouth breathing: Breathing through the nose is the desired way to breathe and has many benefits, including filtering, warming and humidifying the air. Mouth breathing can result from OMD and negatively impact oral health, oxygen intake and facial development.

Paige Leising and Celeste May are experienced speech-language pathologists with specialized training in orofacial myofunctional therapy (OMT) to assess and treat OMD. They collaborate with dentists and orthodontists to provide coordinated, effective services.

Contact Communication Works to determine if Paige and Celeste can help train your orofacial muscles, bringing them into balance to improve breathing, enhance swallowing for better digestion and oral health and/or support orthodontic care to maintain long-term results after braces or other dental treatments. Traditions Health Wants to Make Sure You’re

Safe this Winter

Winter can be the most wonderful time of the year, but for people with major fall risk, it can also be the most dangerous. That’s why Traditions Health wants you to make sure that you and your family is safe during these icy times. According to the National Institution on Aging (NIA), more than one in four adults over age 65 fall each year, a risk which increases as you get older. Loss of muscle, vision problems and slower reaction times can impair balance. Here are some ways to reduce risk:

At Home

• Dry your shoes and take them off when you come in from outside.

• Install good lighting in your doorways.

• Keep entryways clear of clutter to avoid tripping.

• Wipe the tips of your cane or walker (if necessary) to dry them when you enter.

Outdoors

• Consider hiring a service to shovel snow for you.

• Keep walkways clear of snow and ice using an ice melt product or sand.

• Slow down when walking and watch where you’re stepping.

• Use railings to navigate stairs or ramps.

• Wear non-skid, rubber-soled shoes or boots with good traction. Overall, just take care of yourself! When the weather is severe, consider staying home! Extreme weather requires preparation and caution. Following safety tips is a smart way to approach this season.

Traditions remains committed to the same mission on which it was founded: to promote health and quality of life for the patients they serve, to attract and retain exceptional health care professionals and to conduct their business with compassion and integrity. The team at Noreen Home Care knows that people may be hesitant to have people come into their home to help. They've already figured out a way to cope with their problems, whatever they may be, so it can be a difficult conversation. However, it is still an important discussion because you don't want to make any decisions about your loved one's well-being without consulting them first, if possible. Determine if there's an opportunity, if there's anything they think they might need help with. Start small, like offering them someone to help with laundry; as opposed to something more personal. There can be a lot of fear that someone coming into the home will take away their independence, so be sure to explain that it will actually bring out more freedom for them, such as being able to grocery shop for themselves again or be driven to events to spend time with friends. Finding help can be difficult because often times we don’t know where to start.

That’s where Noreen Home Care can help. They have Senior Care Experts you can call and we can help with these conversations and help you discover what exact services your loved one needs to remain in their home which allows them to age gracefully in their familiar surroundings. Call today for your FREE no obligation in home assessment at (402) 925-4414 or visit noreencares.com.

Noreen Home Care offers more than just home care services; they provide genuine care and empathy, treating each client with the dignity and respect they deserve. Learn more at noreencares.com.

LNKGoesBlueforNationalHumanTrafficking Prevention Day

Lincoln Airport recognized National Human Trafficking Prevention Day, January 11, as a day dedicated to raising awareness about a critical global issue. The Blue Campaign, led by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), hosts #WearBlueDay, a social media movement encouraging people to wear blue and share photos using the hashtag to spread awareness. Lincoln Airport not only joined in by wearing blue but also lit up its LNK sign in blue to show support.

The Blue Campaign is a national initiative focused on educating the public to recognize and respond to human trafficking. Through partnerships with law enforcement, businesses and community organizations, the campaign works to prevent trafficking and support victims.

As a proud sponsor of the Blue Lighting Initiative (BLI), Lincoln Airport is committed to this cause. The BLI, a vital component of the Blue Campaign, is led by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). It provides specialized training to aviation personnel, teaching them how to identify signs of trafficking and report concerns to federal law enforcement. To date, this initiative has trained over 350,000 aviation professionals, resulting in critical tips and stronger protections for potential victims. Last summer, LNK held its first-ever Human Trafficking Awareness event on July 30 and looks forward to continuing this effort in 2025. Informational flyers and cards from the Blue Campaign are available throughout the terminal, providing travelers with valuable resources. With well-trained staff and a dedication to making a difference, Lincoln Airport stands united in the fight against human trafficking. Together, we can raise awareness, foster change and build a safer tomorrow.

New Year, New Plan

For most people the beginning of the year means New Year’s resolutions have been made and perhaps broken. For many people with employer coverage, those with coverage through the Federally Facilitated Marketplace (Obamacare), Medicare Part D plans or Advantage plans - January means the beginning of a new plan year.

Here are some tips for making the most of your new plan year:

1. Make sure ID cards have arrived. The pile of mail on the kitchen table may contain an ID card. There may alternatively be a letter from the company directing you to log in to a member portal to access a .pdf document of a new plan ID.

2. Set up an on-line member portal. While this is used primarily to see claim information, payment history and access member documents, some companies give reward points for setting this up. There may be additional discounts or benefits accessible through this portal.

3. Check to see if the company offers an app that would allow access to member information from a smartphone. This can offer timely access to information at a provider’s office or other medical facility if a physical ID card is not available.

4. Explore any virtual care benefits offered to be ready to access care in case of minor incidents that require medical consultation over the weekend. If traveling on vacation out of state, emergency services may be the only thing your plan covers. Knowing in advance if there is access to 24/7 virtual care may be crucial. It is also a good idea to be familiar with any local urgent care facility considered to be in network.

5. If choosing to pay with a credit card, double check that the payment method won’t expire during the year. Prevent nonpayment or delinquent notices caused by an expired credit card.

6. Make sure to present the new plan ID information when going to the doctor’s office, urgent care or hospital for treatment. Disposing of outdated cards will make decision making easier months down the road.

Starting a new plan can cause confusion and if there are other more complicated issues that arise, contact your insurance agent to assist. The licensed insurance agents at On Point Insurance Agency are ready to help!

STAR CITY SIX SHANNON

Meet Shannon Hanke, Business Sales Executive Account Manager at ALLO Fiber.

Tell us a little about your business. - ALLO Communications, established in 2003, is a telecommunications company providing a comprehensive suite of cutting-edge services designed to elevate businesses. From high-speed fiber internet, voice and TV to advanced IT solutions and cybersecurity, our offerings enhance efficiency, security and connectivity across all aspects of operations. Serving 50 cities across Nebraska, Colorado, Arizona and Missouri, we reach a population of over 1.4 million. ALLO is deeply committed to local support, making us a vital part of the communities we serve.

How did you get started in the business? - Over 30 years ago, I was approached by an exceptional sales manager whose mentorship and encouragement inspired me to pursue a career in sales. This journey has allowed me to develop deep expertise in building strong client relationships, driving results and exceptional customer service helping businesses achieve their goals.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? - One of the biggest challenges I have faced professionally was balancing my career while raising my son as a single mother, particularly without having family support nearby. The experience taught me invaluable lessons in time management, prioritization and perseverance. It also strengthened my adaptability, problem-solving skills, and ability to stay focused under pressure—all of which have positively influenced my professional growth and success.

Tell us a little about your family. - I have one son who is a Senior Auditor in Denver and will marry the love of his life, Annie, this fall. I also share my life with two wonderful fur babies: a playful happy Pyredoodle dog and a beautiful Bay Tennessee Walker horse. What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? - My lifelong battle with severe asthma. Throughout my life, I spent a significant amount of time in hospitals and doctors' offices and I have faced life-threatening situations on multiple occasions. At just four years old, I was transported by Flight for Life to Children’s Hospital, and as an adult, during my pregnancy, I had to be intubated for several days—an experience that ultimately saved both my life and my son’s. These challenges have shaped my resilience, strengthened my perspective and instilled a deep appreciation for life.

Who inspires you? - My son. He inspires and motivates me more than he will ever know. He made significant sacrifices starting at a young age to pursue and follow his passion. His unwavering discipline juggling school and sports, along with his tenacious drive, and grit helped him achieve remarkable accomplishments which continue into his adult life. He’s a former Big Ten Academic All-American and an offensive starter for the Nebraska football team. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Business, double majoring in Accounting and Business Administration. What local nonprofit organizations are you passionate about or involved with, and are there any special reasons why? - I proudly serve on the board of Dream Catchers Strong, an emotional support program dedicated to helping teens and adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. This program uniquely combines traditional support methods with the therapeutic power of equine wisdom using the Equine Gestalt Coaching Method (EGCM)®.

If our readers would like to contact you, how should they do so? –They can contact me by email: Shannon.hanke@allofiber.com, phone: (402)890-7426 or our website: allocommunications.com/business.

JEREMY STAR CITY SIX

Jeremy Day REMY REFINISHING

Meet Jeremy Day, Owner of Remy Refinishing.

Tell us a little about your business. - Cabinet painting is more than half of our work, but we also do all interior painting. We end up painting a lot of oak trim, doors, fireplaces, stair railings and things of that nature, because it's the same process as painting oak cabinets.

People tend to call us for a lot of small jobs too, as we are also willing to do those. We get a lot of calls to do stairwells because most people don't have the ladders to do those types of jobs.

With cabinets we also do replacement doors along with other cabinet modifications such as crown moulding, paneling and adding anything else to kitchen cabinets that people want.

How did you get started in the business? - I started my company in 2015 in Denver before I moved to Lincoln. My wife Jill and I decided to move here when we started having kids in 2018. We've done all types of painting but eventually found a great niche in cabinet painting.

Tell us a little about your family. - I am married to my wonderful wife Jill who stays at home with our four kids and homeschools. She absolutely loves it and is a super creative person. My kids’ names are Remi, Arlo, Juna and Tali. Hopefully someday one of them will take over the business, but we will see.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? - Meeting my wife Jill was definitely one of the biggest turning points in my life. Up until then I wasn't super ambitious about my career as I just wanted to travel. At the very beginning I talked to Jill about whether I should have a job or start my business and she encouraged me to start my business. I'm eternally grateful she told me that answer.

I also like to tell people that I've road tripped to all 48 states, mostly visiting the National and state parks and camping along the way. Who inspires you? - Other business owners are my inspiration. Of course, Elon Musk is one of my big heroes. His ability to take what's in his imagination and make it reality is very impressive!

I am also very inspired by every local small business owner. I know what it takes to be successful and I know a lot of local business owners that put their blood, sweat and tears into their business. Cheers to them and good job!

If you could choose any other profession to be successful in, what would it be? - If I could get into another profession besides painting I would actually get my PhD in economics and be a professor. I love studying both macro and microeconomics and how people make decisions on how to use their limited resources. Also a big fan of following the stock market so maybe a profession related to that. What is your favorite book or the last good book you read? - I am a big reader and I wouldn't be where I'm at today if it wasn't for all the great information I've gotten from great books! Probably the most influential one from the last few years is Company of One by Paul Jarvis. The book that helped me to start down this path as a teenager was Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki.

If our readers would like to contact you, how should they do so?If you need painting, would just love to talk about your favorite books or starting and running a business, I would love to chat with you. The best way to reach me is by my email remyrefinishing@gmail.com.

How did you get started in the business? - I began my healthcare career in 1993 as a certified nursing assistant in a long-term care facility during summer and holiday breaks while I was in college. After graduating college and graduate school, I worked as an athletic trainer prior to going back to school to become a nurse. Since becoming a registered nurse, I have worked in a variety of clinical settings including hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. Each role has brought additional insight into how to provide the best care to our hospice patients.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? - The biggest professional challenge I face has been to try and change the stigma of hospice. For many, hospice means their loved one is going to pass away within a week – but hospice care is about living! Comfort and dignity are the anchors of hospice care. Whether the need is physical, spiritual or emotional, we’re here to provide the critical support patients – and their loved ones – need throughout their end-of-life journey.

What has been your most important achievement professionally? - The most important professional achievements are the relationships created with our patients and their families I have worked with over the years.

Tell us a little about your family. - I am the oldest of three. I have two younger brothers, Jason and Jeremy. My mother lives in my hometown of Alexandria, NE, and my father passed away in May 2024. My significant other, Tony, and I have been together for nearly three years. We’re a blended family. I have two children, my daughter Grace, who is in college, and my son Donovan, who is in middle school. Tony has four children – Becky, Chase, Drake and Averie. We also have three dogs – Macy, Sammy and Nellie Jo.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? - I love to spend time with family and friends. I enjoy spending time at the lake during the summer and finding small-town restaurants to eat at with Tony. When it is cold outside, I enjoy being cozy and sitting in front of a fire.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? - I have multiple degrees, including a master’s degree in Exercise Science and a Doctor of Education in Adult and Higher Education. I was an athletic trainer and taught athletic training classes prior to going back to school to be a nurse. Who inspires you? - My parents have always been an inspiration. They instilled positive values, provided support and guidance and a strong work ethic. The team I work with are some of the most inspiring people I have ever met, going above and beyond to take great care of our patients.

If our readers would like to contact you, how should they do so? - Laura.steele@traditionshealth.com | (402) 328-2350 | Traditionshealth.com

STAR CITY SIX AUSTIN

Meet Austin Zimmerman, a CPA at SP Group, P.C.

Tell us a little about your business. - SP Group, P.C. is a full-service accounting firm based in Lincoln, specializing in tax planning and preparation for businesses and individuals, audit and assurance engagements and consulting services. We believe in the power of positive relationships and take great pride in helping our clients reach their long-term goals.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally?Accounting is an ever-changing industry, with laws and regulations being revised constantly. I love this aspect of my job, in the sense that no two days are ever the same. However, it also requires us to be willing to adapt and adjust our strategic plan for the current set of facts and circumstances. The COVID pandemic was certainly a challenging time for our team, as there was a massive influx of tax legislation and relief programs that directly impacted our clients. However, I’m proud of how our firm was able to quickly educate ourselves and our clients on these programs and help them navigate the best path forward.

Tell us a little about your family. - My wife, Kirsten, and I have been married for just over four years and have a wonderful two-year-old daughter, Amelia. We also have a dog, Nash, who is most definitely the true ringleader of the family.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? - I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing golf and attending Nebraska sporting events. My wife and I also enjoy live music, especially if it’s someone we’ve never had the opportunity to see before.

Who inspires you? - Public accounting offers the opportunity to get to know entrepreneurial people on a personal level, and learn about the story of how they started their business and got to where they are today. What is your favorite quote or the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? - My high school golf coach always used to say that “luck is when preparation meets opportunity.” I don’t know if the message fully sunk in at the time as a high schooler, but now I have come to appreciate that when one is prepared and ready to spot the right opportunities, good luck tends to follow.

What is your favorite book or the last good book you read?Moneyball by Michael Lewis.

What is your favorite movie? - The Godfather

What is your favorite TV show? - The Simpsons

What is your favorite local Lincoln restaurant? - Momo Pizzeria & Ristorante.

If you could have dinner with one famous person from the past or present, who would it be? - Paul McCartney. I think it would be fascinating to hear from someone who has been so influential for so many people for so many years, yet still feels the motivation to continue to innovate and create new music. He would have an endlessly entertaining array of stories, and you never know – he might want some tax advice too.

February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month

Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month is an annual campaign done by Voices of Hope dedicated to raising awareness about the issue of dating violence among teenagers.

The campaign aims to teach teens about the signs they need to look out for in abusive relationships as well as promoting signs of a healthy relationship and provide resources for those who may be experiencing or witnessing teen dating violence. The campaign also strives to start conversations around this very relevant issue, hoping to encourage teens to speak up and seek help if they or someone they know is facing dating abuse.

Learning about healthy relationships and especially boundaries is just as important to combat dating violence. Know what a good relationship looks like in order to make sure yours isn’t a bad one. What happens in a teen relationship can have lifelong consequences. One in three homicides in girls 11-18 are committed by an intimate partner. And 68% of students experiencing dating violence have reported a negative impact on their academic success. Keep up with Voices of Hope’s socials (@voicesofhopelincoln) in order to learn the signs and keep you and your loved ones safe from unhealthy and potentially abusive relationships.

Voices of Hope’s mission is two-fold: to provide services to victims and their significant others who are faced with the traumatic aftermath of sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, human trafficking, incest and childhood abuse and to provide information about these crimes for the purposes of citizen awareness, prevention and to enhance the sensitivity and professional understanding of those who may work with individuals with these problems. Nebraska Joins the Nation of Lifesavers this Heart Month by Learning CPR

During February – American Heart Month – the American Heart Association is urging all Nebraska families to learn the lifesaving skill of CPR. More than 350,000 people experience cardiac arrests outside of a hospital every year. Unfortunately, 90% do not survive. Nearly 70% of cardiac arrests happen at home, so it is likely that the person who needs CPR will be a family member or friend.

According to the Association, more than 23,000 children experience cardiac arrest each year. Nearly 40% of those are related to sports, and nearly 20% occur in infants. By calling on the everyday heroes like parents, teachers and coaches who impact the lives of children every day, the Association hopes to create an environment where every child has the best chance of survival in a cardiac emergency.

“The truth is, if you are called to respond in a cardiac emergency, being prepared to step in with CPR may save the life of someone you love, even a child,” said Chris Shives, Executive Director, American Heart Association. “It’s up to all of us to make sure that our families, our students and our athletes are safe when it matters most.”

Joining the Nation of Lifesavers, an Association initiative focused on doubling the survival rate of cardiac arrest by 2030, is easier than ever with many CPR learning options available.

Across Nebraska, future lifesavers can:

• Take an online CPR course

• Learn and practice with a CPR Anytime Kit

• Watch a 60-second video to learn Hands-Only CPR

• Find a Heartsaver™ certification course near them or

• Attend the Omaha or Lincoln Heart and Stroke Balls

By 2030, the American Heart Association has pledged to double the cardiac arrest survival rate from just 10% to 20%.

The American Heart Association is the leading voluntary health organization devoted to a world of healthier lives for all. Learn more at heart.org.

This Could Be You! UBT Lincoln Volunteers Team Up with Nebraska Diaper Bank to Support Local Families

Union Bank and Trust (UBT) recently volunteered with Nebraska Diaper Bank (NDB) at the Center for People. The team helped wrap 8,130 diapers, which will provide a month’s worth of diapers for 136 babies in need.

“It was great to be able to help provide diapers to families in need in our community!” said a UBT volunteer.

Clean diapers are essential for the health and well-being of babies, yet many families struggle to afford them. In 2024, NDB distributed over 3.4 million diapers, and they've set a goal of 3.7 million diapers for 2025.

Want to make a difference? NDB serves 800 babies each month in Lincoln, and volunteers are crucial to making this happen. Volunteers open diaper boxes, count and wrap diapers for NDB’s monthly diaper supplements. NDB also offers mobile wraps, where businesses or clients sponsor diapers, donate their time and NDB brings the event to their location. In addition, NDB encourages businesses to host diaper drives, gathering diapers and raising awareness. To schedule a diaper wrap or mobile wrap, contact NDB at (402) 557-8205 or email mikaela@nebraskadiaperbank.org. Learn more about NDB at nebraskadiaperbank.org.

Essential Estate Planning for Alzheimer’s

Domesti-PUPS celebrated their 25th anniversary on January 25, marking a quarter-century of love, support and wagging tails. The organization honored its dedicated therapy teams, EduPUPS Teams, Rescue Program, Service Dogs Program and the incredible community that made it all possible.

The celebration took place on Saturday, January 25 from 1- 4 p.m. at 4601 Y Street. Families, friends and furry companions enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon of activities, contests, prizes and refreshments.

The event was free to attend, though donations to support DomestiPUPS' continued work were greatly appreciated in honor of 25 years of service. All attending furry friends were asked to be on a non-retractable leash, up-to-date on vaccinations and well-behaved around other dogs and people.

The community came together to celebrate, creating memories for years to come. It was truly a 25th birthday to remember!

For more details visit the Domesti-PUPS Facebook event page or call (402) 465-4201.

Estate planning is vital for everyone, but it becomes especially critical when facing a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. Early planning ensures individuals’ wishes are legally documented while they can still make informed decisions.

Key Steps for Estate Planning with Alzheimer’s:

• Start Early: Alzheimer’s is progressive, making it harder to plan later. Acting promptly secures future decision-making according to personal preferences.

• Create a Durable Power of Attorney: This document allows a trusted agent to handle finances and legal matters if the individual becomes incapacitated.

• Establish a Healthcare Directive: Advance directives outline medical care preferences, while a healthcare proxy designates someone to make medical decisions when needed.

• Update or Create a Will or Trust: A will outlines asset distribution, while living trusts manage assets during life and after death, streamlining transitions and avoiding probate.

• Plan for Long-Term Care: Consider long-term care insurance or Medicaid planning to manage costly care needs.

• Communicate with Family: Open discussions about wishes and roles prevent future conflicts and ensure everyone is prepared.

The Alzheimer’s Association Nebraska Chapter is grateful for Lee Law Office for sharing these steps and guiding families through the complexities of estate planning with care and expertise. Contact Lee Law Office today to begin your plan by visiting LeeLawOffice.com.

They thank Lee Law Office for being a dedicated supporter of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Greater Omaha. To register or become a sponsor for your local 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s, visit act. alz.org/Nebraska.

13th Annual Sock Drive for the People’s City Mission

As People City Mission (PCM) looks back at the last several years, they recognize that it has been a difficult journey for everyone. PCM also realize how easy it is to take things for granted until one is faced with the possibility of losing them. Losing a sense of normal, losing access to everyday essentials due to increased prices…losing a job, even losing a home.

For those that were already struggling, these past years may have been the final blow to render them near homeless or homeless. In these instances, everyday necessities like socks can no longer be taken for granted, as they become essential for survival. Take a moment to think about how many pairs of socks that are laying around the house and how simple it is to purchase new ones when needed. Even though a lot of people have had a tough few years, the one silver lining is that Lincoln, as a community have come together like never before to help those in need.

The REALTORS Association of Lincoln and Community Relations Committee are proud to be kicking off our 13th Annual Sock Drive for the People’s City Mission this year and you can be a part of it!

In PSM's first year we collected 1,000 pairs of socks. It has taken them some time to grow, but last year they collected over 22,000 pairs of socks! While this was an accomplished effort, those socks were gone very quickly. With the community's help, PCM knows that they can reach their goal of 25,000 pairs of socks for 2025 and hopefully exceed it!

During the entire month of February, PCM will be collecting socks all over Lincoln, and a list of drop-off locations can be found at lincolnrealtors.com/ral-sock-drive. Gather up any new, gently used or even old, holey socks and drop them off at one of their many drop-off locations in town (those holey socks can be recycled and still benefit The Mission) OR someone can always make a monetary donation of any amount through Venmo (account.venmo.com/u/ REALTORSLincoln) and PCM will purchase the socks for them!

Let’s continue to help Lincoln’s poor, homeless and near-homeless stay warm and healthy this winter.

Thank you to all the schools, non-profit organizations, local companies and REALTOR® offices who are helping us make an impact in our community.

The REALTORS® Association of Lincoln is a local professional trade association, representing 1,000+ members involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries.

It’s Not What You Know, It’s Who You Know and Who Knows You!

Community, Culture, and Commerce

Western National Bank’s owners, Dallen George and Brian Lavelle, truly embody the phrase “Community Bankers.” While the term may seem overused, it perfectly reflects their character and the principles they uphold.

With more than 60 years of combined banking experience, Dallen George and Brian Lavelle embarked on their ownership journey on January 1, 2009, with the acquisition of First National Bank of Summerfield, Kansas. From these humble beginnings, they steadily grew their presence, acquiring The State Bank of Chester, Nebraska, on January 1, 2014—Dallen’s hometown. Just a year later, on September 21, they took a bold step forward by designing and constructing a full-service branch in Cairo, Nebraska.

Their growth continued in July 2017 with the acquisition of Byron State Bank in Byron, Nebraska, which they integrated into Western National Bank. Further expansion came in July 2021 when they acquired and merged Mainstreet Bank, bringing six new locations across Southeast Nebraska. The most recent milestone in their journey was the opening of a fullservice branch in Lincoln, marking their 11th location since their first acquisition in 2009.

Over the past 15 years, what truly sets Dallen and Brian apart is their unwavering dedication to providing exceptional banking services without burdening customers with unnecessary fees. Their approach is straightforward: customers’ money is theirs to keep, and it shouldn’t be reduced by fees that don’t add value. At Western National Bank, customers experience a warm, welcoming atmosphere where Dallen and Brian are often seen in casual attire—ball caps and jeans—creating a relaxed environment where everyone feels comfortable and never intimidated.

The bank’s success is built on three core values: community, culture, and commerce. They prioritize the community, understanding that a thriving local culture fosters prosperous business. This approach has guided Western National Bank’s steady and well-managed growth over the years. Downtown Hidden Gems: Greggos

Aron Mann and her father, Greg Roberts have created a truly unique dining experience with Greggos.

Upon entering the restaurant, it’s clear that Greggos takes an unconventional approach to the Lincoln food scene, setting themselves apart from the rest.

Their rotating menu is the first thing that sets them apart. Greggos serves breakfast and a full salad bar all day, but their daily specials are the big sellers. Monday kicks off the week with gyro day. Taco Tuesday is a fan favorite and one of the busiest days of the week including fried street tacos, elote or Mexican street corn, and Spanish rice from El Chapparo. “We love to support and spotlight other local businesses when we can,” Mann states, highlighting their commitment to the community. Wednesday offers Indian cuisine, such as butter chicken served over basmati rice.

Thursday is another guaranteed hit with barbeque day. Then on Friday, it’s the dealer’s choice, “I love to throw something together at the end of the week to prevent food waste. We typically have extra barbeque and people love that. I have a fancy quesadilla maker that I love to use on Fridays too” Mann states. With rotating specials and cuisine that travel the globe, Greggos has created a loyal following and a reputation for its fresh and exciting menu. Its guests can always expect something fresh and made with care.

Another feature of Greggos's operation is its catering service. Downtown companies like Olssen and Q2 are frequent fans. Mann says, “People call in for everything, and I can specialize orders for them. Whether it’s a large office lunch or something small, we’ll suit the occasion.”

One of the most surprising aspects of Greggos is its price point. Compared to the average lunch, it is incredibly affordable. Most entrees, complete with sides, are $8, an unbeatable deal for the quality.

With its unique menu, catering, and price, Greggos has become a standout in downtown Lincoln’s dining scene. Whether you’re looking for a quick breakfast or a flavorful daily special, Greggos has something for everyone. It is a wonderful reflection of the creativity of the Downtown Lincoln community.

Greggos is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. For catering or more information, call (402) 560-2568.

Holding Realistic Expectations of Your Team When

You’re Understaffed

When working with a small or understaffed team, it’s easy for expectations to skyrocket as everyone stretches to fill gaps. However, pushing too hard without considering capacity can lead to burnout, low morale, and diminished productivity. Setting realistic expectations is essential to maintaining a motivated and efficient team, even when resources are limited.

Understand Your Team’s Capacity

Start by assessing what your team can realistically accomplish given their skills, time, and workload. Prioritize tasks that align with business goals and eliminate nonessential activities. Openly discuss workloads with team members to gauge their limits and adjust responsibilities accordingly.

Focus on Prioritization

When resources are tight, not every task can be urgent. Prioritize work based on its impact on the business. Clearly communicate what needs immediate attention and what can wait. This ensures energy is focused where it matters most.

Avoid Micromanaging

Trust is key in small teams. Micromanaging wastes time and signals a lack of confidence in your team’s abilities. Instead, provide clear direction and allow employees to take ownership of their tasks. This fosters autonomy and boosts morale.

Acknowledge Limitations

Accept that being understaffed may mean certain goals take longer to achieve. Set realistic timelines and be transparent about constraints with stakeholders to manage expectations.

Celebrate Wins—Big and Small

Acknowledge and celebrate achievements to keep the team motivated. Even small successes should be recognized as they contribute to the overall mission and reinforce the team’s efforts.

Provide Support

Check in regularly to identify where team members may need help. Whether it’s reallocating tasks, offering tools to streamline workflows, or providing emotional support, showing you care can make a significant difference.

By setting realistic expectations and fostering a supportive environment, you can ensure your team stays engaged and productive—even when resources are stretched thin.

Guided by the Vitality Lincoln Strategic Plan, Lincoln has made significant strides in the tourism landscape of our city over this past year, solidifying our reputation as a forward-thinking community and an attractive destination. Among these transformative initiatives are two standout projects – the Sandhills Global Youth Complex and plans for a potential Downtown Lincoln Convention Center.

Set to welcome young athletes this spring, the Sandhills Global Youth Complex, positions Lincoln as a leading destination for youth sports, drawing athletes and their families from across the country to play ball in Lincoln and explore the incredible community that we call home. This state-of-the-art facility underscores Lincoln’s commitment to youth engagement and athletic excellence while boosting local businesses. With thousands of games already booked at the Sandhills Global Youth Complex, this new community asset is expected to have an $8 million economic impact on our community in its first year alone.

The progress made by Assemble Lincoln in 2024 to advance plans for a potential Downtown Lincoln Convention Center is also worth celebrating. With three potential sites being evaluated, this project will elevate our competitiveness as a destination for conferences and events, attracting visitors and reinforcing Lincoln’s reputation as an appealing and truly unique destination. The Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and Visit Lincoln continue to play an active role in this process, recognizing the significant value and economic boost it brings.

The 2025 Annual Meeting is more than just an event; it is a celebration of our vibrant community and an opportunity to connect with fellow business leaders, reflect on shared achievements and be inspired by the vision for our city’s future. Give Your Kid a Voice with Link to Communication

In today’s world, staying healthy and active isn’t just about running and jumping—it’s also about how we use our mouths and voices! That’s where Link to Communication comes in, offering Myofunctional and Speech Therapy to help kids feel their very best.

Myofunctional therapy is like a special training program for your mouth, helping kids learn how to swallow, breathe, and speak. When these muscles work properly, kids breathe better, eat better, and speak more clearly. With speech therapy, kids can improve their communication skills and express themselves clearly. Strong speech and language skills form the foundation for reading, writing, and overall academic success. When kids have trouble with speech sounds, they may also struggle with phonics or spelling, which makes learning harder. Speech therapy helps build the skills they need to thrive in school and social settings.

At Link to Communication, we believe that building strong, healthy oral muscles is key to enhancing overall well-being and confidence. Our therapy sessions are designed to be engaging and enjoyable, helping kids develop essential skills for effective communication. Through fun and interactive exercises, children learn to strengthen the muscles of their face, mouth, and tongue, improving speech clarity, breathing, and even performance in activities like sports or singing.

Their advice to parents? It’s never too early to start building good habits! Bringing your child in for a myofunctional or speech therapy evaluation is a great way to make sure they develop the skills they need to stay healthy and active as they grow. Whether it’s to improve swallowing, speech, reading, or just to help your child feel more confident, they’re here to guide you every step of the way.

So, come visit the speech-language pathologists at Link to Communication, and let’s work together to unlock new skills, build confidence, and pave the way for success!

Speak with Communication Works

On that same note, according to Toni B. Morehouse, Board-Certified Child Language Specialist and Owner of this next great speech therapy business, Communication Works, not all children develop language at the same rate. Some may exhibit delays leading to concerns about whether a child is simply a "late bloomer" or whether they may be experiencing late language emergence (LLE), commonly known as being a "late talker.”

Understanding the differences is crucial.

• Late Bloomers: May initially show slower language development compared to their peers, but they typically catch up with time. They tend to use more communication gestures to compensate for their delayed speech and generally demonstrate better language comprehension than late talkers.

• Late Talkers: On the other hand, late talkers remain behind in their language development even as they get older. At age 2, late talkers use fewer than 50 words and do not typically produce two-word combinations. They also use fewer vowels and consonants, often exhibiting more consonant errors compared to peers.

Research indicates that 10-20% of two-year-old children are late talkers, with males being three times more likely to experience delayed language development than females.

Pediatric speech-language pathologists focus on LLE because studies have shown that children who are late talkers at age two:

• Exhibit poorer reading and spelling skills at ages eight and nine.

• Have lower vocabulary, grammar, verbal memory and reading comprehension at ages 13 and 17.

• May have associated issues such as intellectual disability, autism, social communication disorder, ADHD or learning disabilities.

A child’s brain is most flexible and adaptable between birth and three, with 80% of brain development occurring by the age of three. This period is often referred to as the "critical window" for language development.

Seeking the help of a speech-language pathologist for early assessment and intervention for late talkers can pave the way for better language skills, stronger academic performance, and improved social interactions. Early intervention can truly make a difference.

Help Your Kid With Healing Hands Chitopractic

Speech therapy might be the first barrier to cross when it comes to communication, but pain could be something that stops your kid from having good conversations as well. When you’re not sure how to help your kid with their back pain or misalignment, that’s where Healing Hands Chiropractic comes in.

Your kids’ health is important, and though physical health is just one component, Dr. Kimberly Hoffa of Healing Hands Chiropractic strives to make sure that component is the best that it can be. Choosing a chiropractor for your kids’ health means you being there for them in every single possible way. Pediatric chiropractors specialize in addressing musculoskeletal issues in children, promoting proper alignment and mobility. They work and dedicate their time to make sure that their spine is aligned, a treatment that can promote a wide range of benefits such as enhancing immune health, aiding in digestion, reducing ear infections and allergies, improving sleep and more. Through gentle and ageappropriate adjustments, these professionals aim to enhance nervous system function, support immune health and contribute to optimal growth. The best thing about these treatments, especially for children, is their noninvasive nature. They address things like balance, posture and coordination without having the complications of surgery or traditional medicine. These pediatric chiropractors use only gentle and light pressure to achieve the best results for your children.

Even the slightest of misalignments can cause a multitude of issues, so make sure that your kids’ systems are functioning optimally to make sure they grow into the person they were born to be!

Once your child is ready to be active and out and about, there’s of course the issue of finding the perfect shoes to make sure that those alignments stay in place, and that your child is speeding down the field in the best gear possible.

Keeping kids healthy and active may not seem to be a problem with all the clubs and teams for so many sports. However, according to Place Matters – a publication from The Community Health Endowment – there is a problem! Many parents don’t have the resources, the time or the means to enroll their children in special teams, and add to that the fear so many parents have of letting their kids play outside, ride their bikes outside or take walks. The thing is, Lincolnites are incredibly lucky as we have so many trails that can benefit everyone! The goal of the Parks Department is to get a trail within a mile of every household, and they are very close to that!

Their January “Launch Your Fitness” Challenge aimed at just that and it warmed their heart to see so many families take part in the challenge! Training your body to get used to walking every day for just one mile can do wonders for your health!

Being healthy and active doesn’t need to cost a lot, take you out of town to do it or even keep you inside! The best physical – and mental – fitness comes from moving outside in whatever makes you comfortable!

playing with the optimal gear and equipment.

The team at Play it Again Sports takes pride in providing equipment to kids in all sports across all demographics at a price that allows everyone to play.

In their experience, they have found the best way to keep kids healthy and active is to provide those opportunities and encouragement to try as many sports as possible to find their niche socially, competitively and athletically. Giving your kids the autonomy to pursue the sports they're interested in gives them a greater sense of buy-in to the sport - saving the parents the headache of 'one-and-done' seasons, and providing kids a heightened sense of independence and control over their health. However, too much of a good thing can be bad! To avoid burnout at a young age, give your kids an offseason, they are still kids after all. For parents, they recommend that you avoid keeping your kids in just one sport, and allow them to experiment with the sports they're interested in - not just the ones you played when you were growing up. Your investment in your kids and their health is the most important investment you'll make in their lifetime. Setting them up for success at a young age makes them more likely to make healthy choices and stay active for the rest of their lives!

Maintaining your kid’s health is a process, but it’s one that these local businesses will gladly take on. They’re here to make sure that you just have to cheer them on from the sidelines as they score the winning points, or talk to them for hours about the newest book they read, and not have to worry about what could be going on health-wise, that’s what these wonderful businesses are for!

Respect the Work of Remy Refinishing

For cabinets in particular, to bring a specific part of your building back to life, Remy Refinishing offers interior painting services specializing in cabinet painting. An interior paint job can last a long time but eventually, it looks dirty, scuffed up and not fresh. In your home, this could drag down your mood. In a commercial setting, it could give customers and clients the impression that you don’t care about your business and therefore you don’t care about them. The world of paint continues to evolve faster than people realize. In the past few years, many companies have come out with amazing products that prevent scuffs, are antibacterial, are zero VOC and have many other beneficial properties.

It’s beneficial to ask a knowledgeable painter what kinds of products are out there that can improve the look, feel, and functionality of your home or business. Many painters use the same old products they are used to and never explore new paint technologies that can help you improve your home or business.

“In regards to our specialty of cabinet painting it just comes down to being a huge money saver,” says Owner, Jeremy Day “Replacing your whole set of cabinets is usually not cost-effective. We can paint your existing cabinets at a fraction of the cost of replacing them.”

Along with paint, concrete finishes are another part of building maintenance that can address safety concerns and add an aesthetically pleasing look. Proper care and maintenance of concrete surfaces contribute to the longevity and structural integrity of a building. Additionally, enhancing the appearance of concrete elements, such as driveways and walkways, can significantly boost the overall aesthetic appeal of the property.

Carpets are harder to keep clean, but hard floors still need maintenance. There are both finished and unfinished hard floors. The finish is meant to make the floors look better and helps protect the floor from oils and damage, but those need regular refinishing!

“When looking at building maintenance and costs, floors are what I think of because it is a higher ticketed item for a facility owner or manager. You need to keep up on maintenance for the best appearance and to protect your investment in them.”

A clean space is needed to make sure the rest of the business is running smoothly, keeping customers and employees happy. As we welcome 2025, senior living providers across Lincoln are stepping into the new year with a renewed commitment to excellence, innovation, and meaningful connections. Whether it’s creating enriching environments, empowering seniors to maintain independence, or providing personalized care, these organizations are transforming lives and redefining what it means to age with dignity and joy.

If you’re like many people, you went home over the holidays and noticed your elderly parents or grandparents had experienced a decline in their health. Perhaps you observed they weren’t keeping up with the housework, weren’t eating properly, or seemed more isolated than usual.

This is a common realization during the holiday season and often serves as a wake-up call for families. It’s no surprise that this time of year is one of the busiest for the senior healthcare industry. Thankfully, Lincoln is home to many amazing senior communities and home health agencies staffed by compassionate and dedicated professionals who are ready to help.

In this month’s Senior Living feature, we celebrate the exceptional work being done by Lincoln’s senior care providers. Through their dedication and expertise, they’re ensuring that seniors not only live longer but thrive in every sense of the word. From personalized care plans to meaningful activities that foster joy and connection, these organizations are committed to providing the highest quality of life for the seniors they serve.

Let’s take a closer look at the incredible services and inspiring efforts that make Lincoln’s senior living and healthcare industry a beacon of hope and support for families throughout the community.

Many seniors prefer to remain in their own homes as they age, finding comfort in familiar surroundings filled with cherished memories. Staying at home allows individuals to maintain their independence, stick to their routines, and preserve a sense of control over their daily lives. In-home care services make this possible by providing personalized assistance tailored to each person’s unique needs. From help with daily activities like cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene to companionship and medical care, in-home services offer a flexible solution that supports aging in place. For families, it provides peace of mind knowing their loved one is receiving professional care while remaining in the environment they love most.

For seniors who prefer to age in place, Caring Friends in Home Care provides essential services to help them maintain their independence. “Our goal has always been to support seniors physically, emotionally, socially, and mentally so they can stay in their homes as long as possible,” says Jill Strouf, Director of Field Operations. Through personalized assessments, Caring Friends tailors care plans to match each individual’s routines and needs, ensuring they receive the attention they deserve.

It’s a new year and Noreen Home Care is proud to announce they are now approved to take Medicaid Waiver Clients! Serving the community is why they do what they do and giving back helps to fill their hearts. They also take private pay and Long-Term Care Insurance.

“Seniors can live their best life with in-home care by maintaining independence through assistance with daily activities and accessing healthcare services at home,” says Director of Client and Staff Development Deb Maguire , LPN. “They can engage in social activities facilitated by caregivers, pursuing hobbies and interests, and prioritizing their physical and mental health with personalized care plans that allow them to age gracefully in their familiar surroundings.”

Nebraska LTC Pharmacy

to make sure that your medicine is the right medicine for you.

Founded by Shannon Shultz ten years ago, she wanted to offer more than the average retail pharmacy and to create something that made a difference for everyone, from patients to doctors to caregivers. They eliminate the need to travel to a pharmacy to pick up prescriptions by offering delivery services, and they help you to keep better track of medications by increasing the adherence of the packaging with easy-to-use blister packs, perfect for seniors who can’t simply travel to a pharmacy to pick up a prescription.

“Nebraska LTC Pharmacy truly is a concierge pharmacy,” says Owner Shannon Shultz. “Our customer service and attention to detail far exceed that of retail pharmacies.”

As we age, our joints and muscles age with us and with age comes need for refinement. That’s where physical care comes in! Physical therapy can help any senior in need of strengthening and there’s no experts that do it better than the people at Husker Rehab and Old Cheney Rehabilitation, places that are dedicated to your personal health and wellness.

Occupational Therapist Maggie Burmeister of Husker Rehab especially focuses on empowering seniors to maintain independence through personalized therapy. “This year, I’m concentrating on helping seniors continue doing the things they love, whether it’s cooking, gardening, or getting out

in the community,” she shares. Burmeister takes pride in building customized intervention plans that address mobility, fine motor skills, and other daily challenges. “My goal is to help seniors live life to the fullest while restoring their ability to perform daily activities.”

At Old Cheney Rehabilitation, their entire team is committed to helping you with your recovery and getting you back where you belong. They know how difficult it is to be away from home, so they’ve designed their facility to feel like a retreat. “Our clients will recover in comfortable, private suites, enjoy delicious meals prepared by our chef and be pampered in our on-site salon,” says Administrator Christian Koenig “Most importantly, our clients can expect to receive personalized care and one-on-one therapy to rebuild their strength and help them feel better. We only offer the very best to our clients.”

When in-home care starts to become too much or the household chores becomes overwhelming it might be smart to look into another solution. When exploring senior living options, it’s essential to understand the differences between independent living, assisted living, and long-term care, as well as the concept of a continuum of care. Independent living is ideal for seniors who are active and self-sufficient but want the convenience of a community that offers social opportunities, maintenance-free living, and optional

amenities like meal plans. Assisted living, on the other hand, provides support with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and medication management while promoting independence in a safe and comfortable environment. Long- term care, often referred to as skilled nursing care, is designed for individuals who require round-the- clock medical attention and assistance due to chronic health conditions or significant physical or cognitive challenges.

Many senior living communities offer a continuum of care, which ensures that as a resident’s needs change, they can transition seamlessly from one level of care to another within the same community. This model provides peace of mind for families, knowing their loved one won’t have to move to a completely new environment as their circumstances evolve. The continuum of care is particularly beneficial for seniors who value stability and consistency in their surroundings and relationships, as well as for families seeking a long-term solution that adapts to future needs.

At Legacy Retirement Communities, creating joyful moments is at the heart of their mission. “We’ve planned a full lineup of activities and events to keep residents entertained and engaged, especially during the winter months when isolation can be a

concern,” says Life Enrichment team member Kristina Bachman.

From birthday parties to volunteer opportunities, Legacy Retirement Communities fosters a sense of purpose and belonging. “We aim to encourage residents to explore new interests and build meaningful connections with one another,” Bachman explains.

When looking for independent senior-living options that include opportunities for engagement, check out the Lincoln Housing Authority . As we age, so does our desire for independence. They pride themselves on providing “more than housing,” going above and beyond to make their seniors happy. “It is the mission of the Lincoln Housing Authority, to provide affordable, safe, sanitary and decent housing to people in need of them,” says Tara Neeman the Resident Service Specialist from Crossroads House, “this is especially important for seniors who are looking for very specific housing to accommodate their needs.”

Similarly, Cedar Creek of High Plains supports the growing population of seniors and the subsequent demand for high-quality care by creating communities where each person feels loved, valued, supported and capable to live life to the fullest! It’s important to make sure a senior feels important in their community and Cedar Creek of High Plains does just that! Cedar Creek of High Plains believes in creating a positive resident experience that maintains residents’ dignity.

The Residence at Gramercy is here to make sure that your loved one gets their signature care and services. The details are so important and Gramercy knows that, that’s why they do everything they can to serve the family and make sure the transition to assisted living is one of community and support. Each community and care service is unique, and one may be a better fit for your loved one over another. The great thing about senior care in Lincoln is that we all work together and are very willing to help direct someone to the right service/community if we cannot provide what is needed.
