TUBING
Grade '304' is a general purpose stainless and is the most common grade of stainless produced. It is made up of at least 18% chormium and 8% nickle offering good corrosion resistance. 304 stainless steel is best suited for indoor use and is inadequate for many marine applications. Grade '316' offers the best corrosion resistance among standard stainless steel and is often refered to as "marine grade". 316 stainless is made up of at least 16% chormium and 10% nickle. 2% molydenum is also added to 316 stainless to increase its corrosion reistance. Grade 316 is most suited to outdoor and marine applications. Satin Finish. Also reffered to as brushed stainless. Satin stainless has a slight directional grain running though it. Common places brushed stainless can be seen are on house hold applicances such as fridges.

Stallion Stainless provides fully frameless glass balustrading which is mainly used for pool fencing however, this product can be used for all fencing / balustrading applications without compromising strength and durability but adding elegance and style. All fully frameless balustrading includes 12mm thick, toughened clear glass with polished edges and 316 marine grade stainless steel mini posts. DIY BALUSTRADE SYSTEM
What is the Stainless Steel DIY Balustrade System? It is our new range of ready-to-go posts & accessories for balustrade in a 316 Stainless Steel Satin Finish. Where can it be used? Both inside and outside. 316 Stainless Steel is the best corrosion resistant steel available, particularly when used outside or in coastal locations. Like all products that are subject to the outside elements, if they are not regularly maintained they will deteriorate in appearance. Products that can be applied to prevent deterioration can be found at most good hardware stores. What are the features of the range? • • • • • • • • • • •
3 styles of posts available; 40mm Square Post for top mounting 50mm Round Post for top mounting (cover plate supplied) 40mm Square Post for side mounting No welding or gluing required for the posts; they are ready straight out of the box to fix to the stair. Posts are available in 2 set lengths; 1 for the rake and 1 for the level. Length is measured from the bottom of the post to the top of the saddle (when fitted). The saddle (the part the handrail fits to) can be adjusted to suit any angle and even more importantly can be removed to make the fixing of the handrail easier. 2 different balustrade options available that can be fitted to the posts Glass Clamps for both the square and round posts to suit 8mm and 10mm glass. Horizontal Bars, the holders (for both square and round posts) and bullet ends. All parts are kept in stock for immediate delivery.

Easy 6 Step Process
1. Drill and fix post, level post both direction to floor. Correct fixings must be used.

2. Mark post for holes and spacing 3. Drill holes to post using 2mm steel metal drillbit 4. Tighten screw to post and attach bar holder or glass clamp.

5. Fix barholders using allen key tool, then slide tube over barholders (note) please use low strength threadlock if necessary. 6. Fix handrail to saddle and rebate accordingly, use threadlock to underside of neck to tighten with allen key.

CUSTOM CUT POSTS & FITTINGS MADE TO ORDER
Stallion stainless steel can custom manufacture square, round or laser cut posts in 316 or 304 grade stainless steel. We can also fit our range of glass clamps or spider fittings to the posts. For all custom made posts a drawing / specifications is required. The base plates for the handrail connectors are fully welded and the handrail connectors have the option of being glued or welded.
