Stubai Glacier – great diversity

Austria’s largest glacier ski area offers versatile family activities, a top snow park, a magnificent mountain panorama and 35 snowy slopes for every preference and ability level.

With an altitude of up to 3,210 metres, the Stubai Glacier promises unforgettable views of the surrounding peaks and perfect conditions on glorious powder snow. The 26 cable cars and lifts take winter sports enthusiasts as quickly as possible to the 35 blue, red and black slopes as well as various ski routes. In addition, the ten-kilometre-long “Wilde Grub’n” downhill run is a real highlight for carving copious turns. The Stubai Glacier is also considered one of the top freeride areas in Austria. In the “Powder Department”, 13 great runs in open, unsecured terrain await you with their own off-piste map, checkpoints, route videos, avalanche check and avalanche warnings. Stubai Zoo snow park is also well worth a visit: the entire terrain on the Gaiskarferner is one of the largest snow parks in the world with pro, medium, jib and easy lines and impresses with maximum variety and perfect shape.

BIG FAMILY – FAMILY FUN

With highlights such as the BIG Family Slalom and Boardercross as well as the Big Family Fun Slope, families will also find the perfect environment for fun and action in the snow. The offer is complemented by the Slopestyle on the Eisjochferner – a snow park made for big and small ski fans. By the way: Children under 10 years of age ski free of charge on the Stubai Glacier when accompanied by a paying parent.
