Das Highlight ist der 14 km lange Winterwanderweg rund um das Jöchl, der Wanderer mit einmaligen Ausblicken auf das Karwendelgebirge, die Stubaier und die Zillertaler Alpen belohnt.

The highlight is the 14km winter hiking trail around the Jöchl that rewards hikers with unique views of the Karwendel range, the Stubai and the Zillertal Alps.

MAGICAL HIKING EVENING

Every Tuesday, the Serlesbahnen Mieders cable cars also runs from 7.00 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. The gentle recreational mountain reveals its particularly romantic side during hiking, tobogganing and ski touring in the evening.

The Koppeneck, high above Mieders, is a true winter wonderland. When the Serlesbahnen cable cars also runs on Tuesdays from 7.00 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. (from Christmas to the end of February), the high plateau at the foot of the Serles exudes a special charm. The enchanting scenery invites you to take an evening winter hike or snowshoe hike, ski tour on the slopes or go tobogganing. The extensive network of paths gives winter hikers the choice between leisurely walks, for example on the lit path from the Koppeneck top station, past the reservoir to the Ochsenhütte (approx. 20 minutes), or long hikes, for example to the Maria Waldrast monastery, the highest monastery in Europe (walking time there and back approx. 2 hours). From the Serlesbahnen cable car top station you can also reach the Gleinserhof alpine inn with a magnificent view of the Serles and the Kalkögel in 1 and a half hours. Return along the same path or by toboggan along the floodlit toboggan run to Schönberg.

TOBOGGAN RUN

The toboggan run from the Serlesbahnen cable car top station to Mieders also invites you to enjoy a toboggan run on Tuesday evening. For those who prefer climbing the Miederer Berg under their own steam with touring skis, the ski slopes are also open that evening. The Koppeneck is also very popular among snowshoe hikers. The relatively flat terrain invites you to leave your own trail in the snow.
