Our Director at Connect is James Rice. He has been teaching and managing schools for over 15 years.
Studying English is a life-long process. Traveling abroad is often a difficult and life-changing experience. Going to live and learn a language in a foreign culture will give you a chance to communicate with people on a day-to-day basis, enjoy their normal activities and become part of our family.
James is always available to help students. He spends time talking to students during class breaks and lunch time and he joins student activities after school and on weekends. He is always around the school and willing to help you. “Making you comfortable at Connect is very important. If a student is comfortable in school, then they can improve and succeed.�

Connect offers two program options - ESL or Business. We offer a wide variety of ESL programs that can help your speaking, grammar, writing and listening skills in different social situations. The Business Programs are designed for students who need to upgrade their English for work purposes or improve their TOEIC® test score. The focus is on building business vocabulary and business skills that are necessary in today’s global workplace. Students can start programs any Monday. Our system is flexible so you can combine these programs to make a course that matches your needs. Each program is divided into weekly blocks. You start Monday and then you are tested on Friday. No homework is given over the weekends except in our Diploma programs.

Connect also promises to place you in a homestay with no other speaker from your country. You must have medical insurance during your stay at Connect. Connect can supply Medical Insurance for you. We charge a daily fee. You can register for medical insurance before you arrive or any time after.
Connect is happy to arrange someone to pick you up at the airport and take you to your homestay, dormitory, apartment etc. We can pick you up and drop you off anywhere in Toronto.
