january 2025 was one to forget | and i don’t even want to get into politics | out-of-control wild fires reduced entire neighborhoods in los angeles to ashes | my studio is far away from the destruction | i can consider myself lucky, but i feel for those that lost their homes and their studios | and there are many | it reminded me once again, that all we truly have is time | and the one thing that is for certain, that we are all running out of time | the painting los angeles on the center spread was a way to deal with my emotions as the fires kep on raging for days | creating art is cheaper than therapy, they say | we’ll see what else this year will bring | i’ve been enjoying my conversations with fellow artist in my neighborhood and at art fairs | i have a few events on the horizon over the next few months | the other art fairs in los angeles and dallas, start-up art fair in san francisco and later on art santa fe | if you read this far, it probably means that you noticed my work somewhere | if you like the work and would be interested in a studio visit, why don’t you get in touch and we’ll make it happen | thank you for your interest | and remember, don’t let the bastards get you down | cheers.
