L’idea, atto di illuminazione e figlia della creatività, nasce, cammina libera e gode di questa libertà che le permette di raggiungere vette sconosciute e sconfinare la dove il pensiero vive e rivive. E’ l’idea dell’analizzare e del fare che permea il continuo ricercare di Antonio Romi. E’ nel concetto di simbiosi tra il senso dell’essere e la forza nell’esserci, che consente al fotografo una condotta che s’incarna in un indissolubile connubio fatto di scatti che fissano “frammenti di essenza” di una meravigliosa natura, e creazioni che prendono vita in un percorso di attività nel mondo delle arti figurative. E’ a Gaeta che il 19 gennaio del 1967 nasce Antonio Romi e forse da lì a poco insorgerà quella passione reverenziale nei confronti del creato e del sapere che ancora oggi s’illumina nell’arte di fotografare e nella creatività grafica dell’autore. The idea, an act of illumination and daughter of creativity, is born, walks freely and enjoys the liberty that allows it to reach unknown heights and to go beyond the limits of where thought lives and comes back to life. It is the idea of analysing and doing that pervades Antonio Romi’s continuing investigations. It is the concept of symbiosis between the sense of being and the power of existence that gives the photographer a channel, embodied in an indissoluble bond made from photos that pin down “fragments of the essence” of a marvellous nature, and creations that come to life in an active journey through the world of the figurative arts. Antonio Romi was born on 19 January 1967 in Gaeta, Italy; perhaps shortly after that is when his reverent passion arose for creating and knowing that still illuminates the artist’s photography and graphic creativity.
