Explore the exciting world of T-Levels

Hopwood Hall College and University Centre is leading the way when it comes to the increasingly popular T-Levels.

Ahead of its upcoming Open Events, the college –which has campuses in Middleton and Rochdale – is celebrating the amazing success it’s had when offering these qualifications. In the last academic year, 22% of the country’s top T-Level grades were impressively achieved by students at Hopwood Hall.

This is the result of a number of factors, including excellent facilities, expert tutors and fantastic employer partnerships. The latter allows learners to be able to work with reputable businesses on a 315-hour work placement, which is a key part of studying a T-Level.

One of the students who was celebrating on results day was 18-year-old Ben Hamlin, who completed the T-Level in Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction. The former St Anne’s Academy pupil is now embarking on a degree apprenticeship in Building Services with BES Ltd.

Fellow student Nathan Ashurst, who joined the college from Falinge Park High School, was thrilled with his grade in the T-Level in Education and Childcare.

The course allowed him to quickly get the ball rolling with his career after securing a role as an apprentice Disability Football Coach with Rochdale AFC Community Trust.

Meanwhile, course mate Molly Scott-Smith used her T-Level to earn a place studying a degree in Primary Education at York St John University.

Hopwood Hall Open Events will be held on Saturday, October 7 from 10am-2pm and Thursday, October 19 from 4:30pm-7pm.
