Giving old jewellery a new story B E S P O K E M E M O R I E S B Y H O N E Y B O U R N E J E W E L L E RY Bespoke jewel lery is what Honeybourne Jewel lery does best: breathing new li fe into old stones, stamping love into wel l-worn gold, and turning fami ly heirlooms into fresh desig ns that w i l l be loved for many years to come Many of us inherit jewellery that – while deeply special in sentiment – may not be to our personal style or taste. Our bespoke jewellery upcycling service allows you to update an oldfashioned setting or repurpose older stones, while protecting all of the meaning and memories they hold in a brand-new design – made just for you. Over the last twenty years we’ve had the pleasure of working closely with thousands of clients to turn their visions into reality; many of them returning again and again.

into a commemorative fiftieth birthday ring. She was thrilled with the finished piece – set in 9ct yellow gold and peppered with five white gold beads symbolising each decade – “Sophie was so good at taking my vague ideas and making them into something truly beautiful and timeless.” At the same time, we were also commissioned by the customer’s daughters to create a co-ordinating heart pendent using two of the same

inherited aquamarine stones: “I love them and get lots of comments; they hold a special meaning to me and are unique.” We adore the challenge of writing new chapters into old histories, and love it when a customer contacts us with an idea for repurposing an older piece of jewellery. In the past we’ve reclaimed diamonds from vintage watch faces and rescued sapphires from forgotten jewellery boxes; creating everything from a solid gold sausage dog ring to remembrance charm bracelets. Have a special piece in mind? Give us a call or drop us a message to start your old jewellery’s new story.

One customer was gifted this beautiful set of aquamarine stones by her aunt, inherited from her late-uncle who was himself a jeweller. For her fiftieth birthday, her family came together and commissioned Honeybourne Jewellery to incorporate these stones

Gratitude rocks Spi ke Rocks began fol low ing a chance conversation w ith a friend; unable to find ‘that perfect piece’, founder Suzy Pi ke rea lised that she wou ld have to ma ke it herself For Suzy, the essence of her business isn’t only how jewellery makes women look, but how it makes them feel. When you choose a present from Spike Rocks, you’re not just giving jewellery, but gifting an intention – from love and acceptance to courage and clarity. We hear a lot about the practice of gratitude. But it’s not always easy to find the time to write in a ‘gratitude journal’, which is why Suzy launched her Gratitude Rocks range. Featuring a shell-like scroll in hammered sterling silver, each item is a physical, tangible – wearable – daily reminder to look for those glimmers of light without overcomplicating the process.

Christmas offers the perfect opportunity to reflect on what we have gained over the past twelve months: whether that’s newfound resilience, rediscovered hobbies or a renewed appreciation in the simple everyday. An individually handmade piece from the Gratitude Rocks collection is the perfect way to show someone how grateful you are for their presence, and a reminder to always hang onto the positives in tricky times. Passionate about individual service, Suzy is contactable to advise and guide throughout.
