“Social Media is important for every Industry”

HOUSE OF HOLLAND

His first collection for Levi´s was Sold Out in London quickly, the upcoming second one will be available all around the World. The

House of Holland x Levi´s Range is a very good thing for

Henry Holland, who became well known with his big print Message T-Shirts, to develop his Fashion & Lifestyle Brand to

World Domination.

If you enter the Room to Henry Hollands “Holy Grail”, his Studio in London/Shoreditch, you can see what it should mean to be. The Wall is colored white, but the interior is very colorful, like the Brand “House of Holland“ is.

As for Levi´s, Henry Holland seems to be a resident in terms of collaborations. The new one will be his fourth collaboration with the Brand and his second full collection. “The first one had a lot of layering’s and floral’s and we also cut holes out and behind that we laid the florals.“ meant Holland about the Spring Summer Collection for Levi´s. The second one will hit the stores in Februaryand is available all around the World in the Levi´s Stores and different to the last one. „This season, We used a fully Levis Collection from the Start. We used the Levis Orange Tab 1970 510 and for the Boys the 505 where we added the details. And we made, Skirts, High waisted Shorts , Jackets and Bras.“

Holland described the Collection in a bit more than three words at Nikes Interview

„It´s quite sexy, provocative, feminine, there´s a Rockn’n’Roll vibe and bondage elements… “

For the Promotion they hired no one other than Leigh Lezark (she is in the pic above) , who is by the way addicted to Twitter like Henry. „Social Media is important for every Industry, but it is particular important to fashion Industry. In terms of Marketing and the Nature of the Business. It is about People who want to be a part of something. You can communicate with your costumers and are able to use it as a marketing and sales tool. It´s very easily to say that everyone of your Twitter follower is a Database and Twitter is a really powerful tool.“

The Internet has changed the Face of the Fashion Industry in the last decade, and especially in britain, the youngsters driven fashion came up. For Henry Holland, there isn´t a particular british Designer who made a big impact or was an inspiration for him in the last ten years. In terms of British Fashion, he love Paul Smith. „His Business Model, the Shops and he collaborate with companies and his whole approach to work is about having fun and you really get into, and wanna buy into his World. He is brilliant, I´d like to be Paul Smith.

He is aware how to market and promote his Stuff in the Online World and stay in touch with his costumers at Twitter, Facebook etc. It is a world where many people want to be a part of, and with the new Range, you can expect that many more will follow. And part of this success is that fact that he is always on the cutting edge of Technology. „It´s very interesting thing and a key to our customers because the majority of them are using Internet and get the information online. It´s where they live, as I do.

And he is a blogger as well, but Henry Hollands daily reads are Vogue.com, Style.com , Fashionista.com, The Cut and if he see something on Twitter or Facebook he click into it. „It´s good to see what´s go-

ing on and what people wanting or wearing. It is good to know what´s going on in the industry and the best place to do that is to read blogs. They are the fashion consumers at the end of the day.

“Twitter is a really powerful tool”

Henry Holland is connected with his Costumer, he like to be always on the cutting edge of technology, he really enjoy the Work in the Fashion Industry and is surrounded by his friends. However, he isn´t interested to work for a Fashion House because his purpose is simple. Take over the World with House of Holland as a Brand. „I´d like to have our own Stores, and I think as a Brand we fit really well into a retail experience. The broad range of Products we developed and made are made to have them all like Ties, Jeans, Bags, T-Shirts and so on.“ With the new Levi´s collection, the House of Holland made a huge step forward and I think at the end of this decade, we will see many HOH Stores around the world and that is a great and colorful vision like his studio, and life.
