After discovering Susanne Laus Blog, Paula from Pinkbow.net launched her own Space in the Web. Since them, her life & style changed and she is blogging regulary about fashion, vintage, interior, food and many more things which ďŹ t into her world.

When did you start your blog and what was your reason for doing so? I first discovered Style Bubble through a ‘Top 10 Blogger’ list in the Metro newspaper. I didn’t know such a thing existed! From that point on I was addicted and through hers found it to be a whole new world. I find it so much more fascinating to see how and what clothes ‘real people’ wear than the polished look of celebrities.

I had always been inspired by fashion and interior magazines and have over 10 years worth of scrapbooks with inspirational clippings. After reading blogs for a few months, I decided to give up the scrapbooks and present my thoughts, ideas and inspirations in a blog.

What is PinkBow about? My blog for me is an medium in which I can document my life as well as being able to connect and interact with a greater audience who share my interests. What is your daily job? I work in the advertising department of a newspaper, selling advertising space within newspapers and internet. Your blog is so much more than fashion. You share your travel experiences, food and much more. And, your blog has changed since you started. It has a special style which really fascinates me and covers your life in photos. Where do you draw the line, I mean, how far would you go… because there are bloggers out there who strip down so much from their life that they do not draw a line? I would agree that my blog has definitely changed in the year or so since I first started. I think after a period of time, you find your own rhythm and style. To be able to continue to find the motivation and inspiration to be able to post several times a week, I needed to look at my own life and what excites me the most on a daily basis and hope that it will capture the attention and interest of others out there also. I agree that once your blog becomes personal, you do question the borders you set yourself. Although I do present myself on the blog, I still feel as though I keep my life to myself, as I do not share very personal details on the blog of my life with family and friends. I do think it is important to draw this line. Like Rhiannon Leifheit from Liebe Marlene Vintage, your blog covers loads of Vintage stuff. Do you also like recent Fashion stuff from designers?

I do very much enjoy vintage. Quite often my choices of vintage over new items will depend on my budget at a given time. I do have a craving of designer items but these are not always within my budget. I like a mix of old and new which help to achieve a more unique look I think. Any favourites? Favourites on recent collections would be Chanel, Sonia Rykiel, previous Luella collections, MiuMiu, Chloe, Charles Anastase, Isabel Marant. I like feminine but slightly quirky clothes which have a French twist. Favourites from the High Street would be Top Shop, H&M and Zara. And all time favourites? Chanel, Chanel, Chanel – Karl Lagerfeld and the lady herself can do no wrong in my eyes. Have you received invites from PR Agencies from Fashion Houses to blog about their shows yet? I do receive emails from PR Agencies but have not received any to cover specific shows. I’m very impressed by your photos because it seems that you have a great sense for motive and style. Do you have a profession in photography? Thank you! I would love to take a photography course to learn more but I have only recently taken up this hobby within the last year, so I’m quite new to it. Posting my photographs on to Flickr and my blog help keep me motivated. The photography part of the blog is what most interests me. I was always interested in the arts and being creative from a young age but was unfortunately not good enough to make a career out of it. Photography provides me with the means to capture those moments from my mind’s eye.

And And Starbucks… Starbucks… have seen have they they seen your picyour great great pictures tures ofcups their of their etc? cups think thinketc? they should they should hire you for a camhire you paign :) for a campaign :)

Oh I would love for Starbucks to see my ‘Red Cup’ post! I am a coffee addict and Christmas is definitely my favourite coffee flavour time of year.

Chanel, Chanel, Chanel ... Karl Lagerfeld and the lady herself can do no wrong in my eyes.

Do you have some daily reads? So many daily reads to mention – Style Bubble, Kingdom of Style, Cherry Blossom Girl, Krisatomic. I like a lot of the Scandinavian blogs – Elinkan, Brinja, Bakerby, Niotifillem, Magic Mirror. Anything with a personal touch interests me the most. You are using a MacBook which you got in 2008 at Christmas. Yesterday, the iPad was introduced. A new tool for us bloggers? I adore Apple products, their design is so stylish and they are way above any other brand on functionality. I was very excited to see their new launch. I like the idea of a mid product between laptop and iPhone. It’s definitely an excellent tool for bloggers on-the-go. Will it change Digital Journalism? I’m not sure it will change Digital Journalism other than it becoming another tool with which to encourage more instant and up-to-date reporting. And will you buy one? I will definitely be taking a look at the options once the iPad is available in the UK. Last question… future plans? Future plans for my blog… it still seems so new to me despite my blog being over a year old now. I’m enjoying seeing it grow as my taste changes and I learn more. I hope to keep motivated and inspired enough to continue with regular posting as well as improving my photography skills. Thanks:) Thank you Stefan!
