GOLD’s & Past Players Report
Golds Report
2022 was a year of great expectation. The League team were slow to start and had their backs to the wall for the rest of the year. The Reserves and Colts both had exceptional seasons with the Reserves overcoming West Perth to win the Premiership. Subiaco 8.6 to West Perth 7.6 and the Colts going down to Peel Thunder in the Preliminary Final 10.9 to 9.5. We had an array of speakers at our monthly meetings including Club President Mark Lawrence, Coach Beau Wardman, General Manager Football Operations Kristian Dicton, Talent Manager Stuart Berryman. Subiaco CEO Peter Capes also came to our Mid Year meeting to inform us about interesting areas around the Club. Unfortunately I had some health issues during the year and missed some meetings but was expertly covered by Vice President Angelo Porcaro. Once again we enjoyed the company of the Golds Ladies under the leader Dee Kitson. We enjoyed a variety of meals at our monthly meetings. A great arrangement to combine both groups. Fritz Vanirsen was very helpful in arranging and inviting players along to our monthly meetings. He endeavoured to get as many of the new players to the Club along. We also enjoyed having Captain Leith Kitchen at some meetings. Being unable to attend the Kalgoolie Grand Final Peter Capes and Kristian Dicton jumped in and represented the Club. The game was close and the victor was Railways FC 9.12 to Boulder City FC 7.10. They presented the Subiaco Golds Medal to Jordan Reid from Railways FC. My thanks go to the committee of Golds for their help during my troubled year. Special thanks to TRG for their assistance in setting up for our meetings. Lotto Super Numbers is our major fund raiser and to all who supported this our grateful thanks We were able to sell out both series which enabled us to donate $2000 to Colts and award monthly and Golds Player of the Awards. Thanks to the members who donated prizes to our monthly meeting raffle. After 12 years of President of Golds I find it’s time to hand the batten to a new leader.

Past Players Officials and Supporters Annual Report 2022
Well another season has come and gone. Mixed results but good to see we are nearing the end of so many Covid restrictions. On the field it was great to see both the Colts and the Reserves make the finals. The future is great with the Futures teams continuing to win. The reserves topped the season off for us all with a thrilling win. The Subiaco Reserves continue to be the club with the most reserves Premierships. It is with much thanks we say goodbye to Lachlan Delahunty Sandover Medallist and 5 times Premiership player as he hangs up his boots. We have a Past Players membership ready for you Lachlan. Thanks for all your commitment and effort. Enjoy retirement. I must thank my Committee for all their hard work. As I said I think we are now seeing the light at the end of the Covid tunnel. We might me be able to get back to having all the Reserves at our half time functions. Thanks for all the food and goodies everyone brings to half time. Once more we need to especially thank Celeste, Terry and Glenn for all they do at half time home functions. Food preparation, setting up and organising the Raffle. Where would we be without you. Thanks to all our members and non members that support our raffle. The Combined past players continue to support all Junior State team representatives as well as Country week where we sponsor The Rising star. Subiaco Past Players also support our Esperance clubs. Terry and Celeste once again attended Grand Final Day at awarded trophies on our behalf. A long trip but much appreciated by Esperance. Well done Terry and Celeste. It is great to see many of these award winners coming up and joining Subiaco. This year saw us have our second Combined Past Players Quiz Night and it was very successful. Hopefully we can run a Quiz night for our Club in 2023. Our AGM will be in early February and you will be notified of the date. If you know any Club members, especially parents of Colts or Reserves players bring them to the AGM and they can join us. During each home game we provide food and drinks for our members and we have fellowship with past players members from most of the other WAFL clubs. See terry if you want to join. Thanks to the Bar Staff and the Board of Subiaco Football Club for all your help and support during the season. Congratulations once more to the Mighty Reserves Premiers. Have a safe and Blessed Christmas. See you all next year. Go the Mighty Lions
