The School Rep Council had the first meeting of the term, planning ways in which we can improve the feedback we recieve through the students, and planning for Speak Week in March
My Job is up for grabs!
NSS! NeSSa the camel is back on campus and her moroccan tent is back in the atrium. Last week we went around and spoke to final year students in lectures. If you’re a final year student, pop along for some candy floss, sweets, and the chance to tell the world about your BU experience!
We presented your favourite bus driver, Robbie Bartel, with his You’re Brilliant Award, for making your mornings that little bit happier.
Being the VP Education has been such an amazing year, and it was an absolute priviledge! You get to train and work with all the student and School Reps in the University, and make a real change. At the Quality Assurance Standing Group we were successful in our mission to gain University approval to change the capping of Units for failing assignments. This has been altered to only capping the assignment itself and not the entire unit. Once passed at Senate this will hopefully be in place for 2013 onwards!
