This Week...
Last week... I had a meeting with the Head of Estates around creating more lecture space, and for 2016 there will be a new block of lecture theatres being built, and with confidence they believe this will allow for all students to have Wednesday afternoons off for extra curricular and sporting activities!
FINAL YEAR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT REPS Please share the NSS link with all of your students, and fill it in yourself! Don’t forget to fill in your S.O.S in to!
In the mean time, estates are meeting with lecturers to find out why lectures are still being put on Wednesday afternoons, and are hoping to find some short term solutions. The nominations for the elections are now closed, check out who’s running for President, VP Education, VP Comms, and VP Lansdowne at www.subu.org.uk.

It was approved at the Academic Standards Committee that the riles on capping will change next year, so if you fail an assignment, you will only be capped for that assignment instead of the whole unit!
The School Academic Board reports have been produced, and issues around teaching and learning, assessment and feedback, organisation and management etc. are now being fed into the strategic plan for the University!]
