UNSUNG HEROES BOURNEMOUTH RAG

Celebrating the hard work and success of SUBU’s students

Every year Bournemouth RAG raise thousands of pounds for charity, collecting money for both local and international

organisations. So far this year the team have already raised over £30,000.

BARCELONA MARATHON

This March a plucky team made up of Bournemouth RAG members will be taking on the gruelling test of the Barcelona Marathon.

RAG GETS LOST Hundreds of miles from Bournemouth, no phone, no map, and no money.

THE SUBU STUDENT SHOUT IS BACK!

On Friday 13th February the Student Shout returns, with both National and University issues set to be debated.

revious Student Shouts have been lively affairs, with issues discussed varying from whether SUBU should petition the NUS regarding their stance on Islamic State, to whether Nerve Radio should be played out in Dylan’s Bar. Should SUBU repeal the Safe Space policy? and should SUBU be campaigning for the government to reduce tuition fees? are both set to be debated this time around. The Student Shout is also your chance to hear from your Full Time Officer team, the Shout being their opportunity to update you on what projects they have been involved with over recent weeks. SUBU President Chloe Schendel Wilson

The Student Shout comes at an exciting time for SUBU, with the Full Time Officer Election Nominations now open as well as the move into the new Student Centre edging nearer.

FULL TIME OFFICER NOMINATIONS You can nominate yourself for the following four positions; SU President, VP Activities, VP Education and VP Welfare at www.subu.org.uk We will also be running some ‘thinking of standing’ sessions throughout February, giving you a better idea of what each role involves.
