FULL TIME OFFICER VOTING Who will be the five new full time officers leading your Students’ Union? The decision is in your hands. It is time. We have 21 bright-eyed candidates pegging for 5 roles in our Full Time Officer team, the eggs who rule the roost at SUBU Towers. There’s President, Vice President Welfare, Vice President Education, Vice President Activities, and the debut for our new role of Vice President Community. Every single student at BU is effected by the work driven from our officers, as they look to work for a better BU- not just SUBU. Each candidate has a manifesto and brief introduction video online to demonstrate
what they are campaiging for and what they would bring to the role. To make it easier for you, most of the candidates will be ensuring their presence around campus with their ‘vote for me!” campaigns. We’re eagerly awaiting what they all have up their sleeves. Our current officers have managed to secure over a million pounds in bursaries for BU students, have gotten our beloved NHS porta-dentist-onwheels on campus regularly, created our Green department, opened the Engine Room, extended library opening hours and much, much more.
