Police arrests farmer for illegalpossession of firearms CAMP RAFAEL RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – Police authorities have arrested 18-year old Rey Maambong Alivio, aka “Jimboy”, a farmerresident of Tabon-tabon, Sibagat, Agusan del Sur for illegal possession of firearms and ammunitions, July 7, this year. The operation was carried out by members of Sibagat Municipal Police Station, led by Police Inspector Jerry M. Lung cancer patient dies after inhaling industrial oxygen

AN FRANCISCO, Agusan del Sur— An 82-year-old lung cancer patient died of complication after inhaling industrial oxygen, instead of medical oxygen, bought at a local hardware store.

Family members of Antonio Garcia of Barangay Caimpugan are contemplating to file formal charges against Pulvera Hardware for giving them industrial oxygen, which they believed caused the victim’s death after four days of inhaling air from the tank, while recuperating from breathing problems at home.
