Unidentified persons burned boat CAMP RAFAEL RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – A patrol board reportedly owned by the local government unit of Marihatag, Surigao del Sur was burned by two unidentified persons, late evening of July 15, this year. The incident was reported to the town’s police by Bantay Dagat personnel Joaphil D. Plaza and Ronald O. Corvera, who were then detailed at the watch tower of the Municipal Tree Park in Barangay Arorogan. AN FRANCISCO, Agusan del Sur - An irate Gov. Adolph Edward Plaza has warned those involved in illegal mining near the Mt. Magdiwata watershed not to drag his name in their illegitimate trade and leave the area or they will face the consequences.
