HE Commission on Elections (COMELEC) is calling the more than nine million registered voters to complete their biometric data in preparation for the 2016 national and local elections. The 9,018,256 registered voters whose biometrics data have not been captured or those who have incomplete biometric data may validate their registration records starting July 1, 2013. Duterte cites five focus areas of his new administration
DAVAO City--The 7th time chief executive of Davao City, Mayor Rodrigo R. Duterte has unwittingly identified the five focus areas of his administration for the next three years including peace and order, environment, informal settlers, corruption and tourism. He also told the private sector to continue spearheading the businesses of the city. This, he said in his inaugural speech after he took his oath Sunday at the City Hall grounds before officials of private and government offices and the public.
