CAGAYAN de Oro Archbishop Antonio Ledesma officiated the first mass of San Vicente Ferrer, the first church built by Vista Land outside Metro Manila, located at the heart of Gran Europa of Camella Homes in Barangay Lumbia.
The first mass was conducted coinciding with its blessing and inauguration on July 13 with the chairman of Villar Foundation and Nacionalista Party President Senator Manny Villar. The church was
named after the patron saint of the province, stands on 308.55sq.m area “Kayo po ay welcome dito,” said Mr. Villar in his speech. “The churches we are building such as the San Vicente Ferrer here in Cagayan de Oro are among the corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts of our companies.

The Philippine government (GPH) and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) finally reached an agreement on the Annex on Wealth-Sharing at around 10:40 p.m. Saturday in Kuala Lumpur and signed the document at midnight. Politicians prioritise coal over agriculture Maharashtra, India is experiencing its worst drought in 40 years. The Upper Wardha dam in Amravati, Maharashtra has always been a lifeline for surrounding cities and towns. But its precious water resources—which are meant to irrigate fields—are being diverted to coal fired power plants, on a massive scale. The authorities in the region only exacerbate the
problem.
