Such decision was further reinforced by the wonderful performance of Electric Cooperatives in the United States whose millions of members are receiving monthly patronage refund in addition to other benefits given to the MCOs such as free hospitalization and scholarships for the MCOs’ children. Let us hope that we can echo sincerely in our heart what St. Paul once said: “Be imitators of me as I am of Christ.” (1 Cor 11,1) This should be the motive and the attitude we have in de siring to give good example to others. It is to imitate Christ, to have his mind, to identify ourselves with his will and ways.
Thus, Christ warns us never to scandalize others, especially the “little ones,” who can be interpreted not only as children but also as any person whose spiritual life is not yet that well established and strong, and therefore can easily be

That’s simply because as man, we cannot help but be connected with others, and thus, affect their lives in some way, even if we are isolated physically. More than just a social being which already gives rise to serious responsibilities for us, we belong to a cer tain communion among ourselves, a communion that is more spiritual than material, and reinforced by its supernatural dimension that goes beyond the merely natural.Weneed to process this basic truth about ourselves so that it would really sink deep in our consciousness and would effectively shape and direct the way we act and relate ourselves to the others all the time.

The fourth is about the identity of leadership, profession vs vocation. We see things more structurally, more mechanical, monotonous, and deviant to what is our identity and these can be overrated and all the time inauthentic, and non-genuine. The call of leadership is the call of desire, passion, and integrity. It boosts the real us and we give what we do because we are what we do and what we do is who we are. I always find time to just talk to my students with level-head and maturity, and sometimes with humor and sharing a bit of my personality which I find necessary, just to let them feel a bit of my vulnerability regardless of how strict I am.

Children might think we feel apologetic for them, or that we are trying to be controlling and manipulative. Insincere and dishonest praise or com mendation might also send the note that we don’t really understand, comprehend, and figure our children out. Do these problems arise for every young child? The answer differs. It could be a yes to you but a no to others. But once kids become mature enough to analyze our beliefs and motives, they may become sensitive to the effects of insincere praise.

change is relevant and sometimes radical to every period so that the development of learning can be achieved. Creativity means the power of imagination made real and only through fidelity that the dedication labored the creativity innate in the leader. I have this particular special need student who has difficulty focusing on his task. He loves the computer and mobile games and he would just consume much of our time playing. So, what I did, was I turned on the music of his favorite game while asking him to do his task, and surprisingly, he regains some focus on his work!
In our master’s class, we were asked by our professor about what it meant to become a true leader. Each one of us was given a chance to speak about leadership. Some classmates answered candidly about their understanding of leadership. Some answered with profound insights on their nature of work, and some of them answered with their observation of their current organization. I am quite surprised and curious about the effect of their answers on my own experience in defin ing leadership. Here are my takeaways about the nature of true leadership based on the discussion we have.
BECAUSE education transforms lives, economies and societies, we must trans form education. It’s simple. Education systems today simply don’t make the grade. I don’t mean Philippine edu cation but worldwide.
The true leader recognizes the power within him, the power of change, and change towards the innate goodness of men. Be ing a leader means recognizing and engaging with several things. One is being personally rooted in the values of men. What are the values of men? The innate goodness of human beings that through the power of the leader can facilitate, lead and follow this change. A good example is how I see students from their different perspectives. Each one of them has its struggle and challenges, to begin with. However, these perspectives, somehow, as a teacher, I possess this so-called “influence” to make change and difference in their lives as they process and eventually overcome such heights of predicament.

whether once or repeatedly, is ultimately a decision to forgo the trust and respect. All we can do right now is demonstrate the caring and affection of a good person. Let’s refrain from criticiz ing anyone or stoking the fire. Let’s all be reminded to uphold our integrity and decency at all times. We may be aware of the true cause, but we also recognize that there may be unfulfilled needs that our love and prayers might fill.
IS IT WORTH TO CHEAT?
Did you know that praise can be harmful at times? What are the consequences of praise? It varies. Praise can increase good feelings and amplify enthusiasm. It can inspire children to be more active, participative, cooperative, persistent, and hard-working. But other schoolchildren hackle in reaction to commendation they received, and even those who like praise can experience pessimistic effects. Hopefully the below matters could be of help on how to make sure that praise helps and would not cause any harm to our learners’ value for mation. In customary practices around the world, parents used to avoid praise for the belief that it could be tolerated and pos sibly lead to self-indulgence in children’s upbringing. Parents worried that too much praise would distend the ego or the self-esteem which basically might result in being too self-conceited. Make children bombastic and boastful. But in the present day, things are different. Many people believe that praise will reinforce the positive outlook of today’s school generation to achieve proper decorum.
Why Too Much Praise Could Be Bad To Children
Now, think about your op tions before you cheat. Does it worth it?
2. Watch out for insincere praise as it leads and can trig ger bad feelings.
The last one is more on the environment, autonomy vs community. Is there a genuine dialogue between the leader and his/her constituents? Are the workplace serves as home life or not at all? But again, the true leader recognizes the power within him/her, the power of change, change towards innate goodness of men, the decision lies on the inevitable good of the people as a whole and as well as individuals. I realized that investing my whole life in special need education brought me to a perspective in which the true objective is really for the community. I must say this reflection is all true to all teach ers, it must be, must be because being a teacher is supposedly a sacrifice for others, a true leader.

The BEMEF is organized in four levels: (i)goal, (ii) sector outcome, (iii) Intermediate Outcome (IO), and (iv) Enabling mechanisms (EM). The goal represents the contribution of the Department in achieving societal aspirations in terms of improv ing the state of education in the country and global community. The sector outcome represents the result that DepEd would like to attain as an organization. It also encompasses the strategic di rections and agenda of the Department as an agency. It describes the condition and characteristics of the learners the organization wants to produce – what we want our learners to be after they complete basic education. DepEd aims to develop Filipino learners with physical, cognitive, socio-emotional, and moral preparation for civic participation and engagement in post-secondary oppor tunities in the local, national, and global communities. It seeks to reinforce current measures of learning outcomes to recognize diversity of talents and intelligence. It ensures that policies and programs aimed at addressing the holistic needs of learners are

IO 1. All school-age children, out-of-school youth, and adults accessed relevant basic learning opportunities. IO 2. School-age children and youth, and adults in situations of disadvantaged benefited from appropriate equity initiatives. IO 3. Learners complete K-12 basic education having attained all learning stan dards that equip them with the necessary skills and attributes to pursue their chosen paths. IO 4. Learners are resilient and know their rights and have the life skills to protect themselves and claim their education rights from DepEd and other dutybearers to promote learners’ well-being. EM 1: Education leaders and managers practice participative and inclusive management processes. EM 2: Human resources in all governance levels are sufficient, resilient, competent, and continuously improving. EM 3: Investments in basic education provide learners with the ideal learning environment. EM 4: Improve and modernize internal systems and processes for a responsive and efficient financial resource management. EM 5: Key stakeholders actively collaborate to serve learners better. EM 6: Public and private education oper ate under a dynamic and responsive complementary framework. From a scientific angle, there’s no issue about it. Brain studies indicate that we react to social approval in a great deal, the same way that we take action to monetary rewards. Praise feels good and fulfilling, as such can lead to helpful aftereffects or outcomes. Research shows that children who are often praised by their teachers or parents manifest better social skills and go on to help more frequently. On the other hand, it is not all good. This factual type of boosting children’s composure can also have its negative effects. Depending on the circumstances and situations, praise may also damage and ruin a child’s self esteem, or stimulate the devel opment of narcissism.
What do you think are ways to avoid the ill effects and surely we’re using praise rightly and wisely to our learners? Below might be of help as these stuff were evidenced-based strategies.
When we think about infidelity in relationships, we think that it could be a great shame, especially when some one is prominent in society or if someone has the profession that most people are looking up to.However, human as we are, we tend to fail. We fail to consider the possible im pacts of our actions and the consequences we might face in the future. But what is the real truth behind these? What are the factors hiding under the surface of what appears to be usual? Reasons can be personal or related to the re lationship, or a combination of the two. But, whatever it is, it is still cheating.
“My teaching philosophy is based on the principle of ‘I do, You do, and We do’” The majority of my students have to deal with the 2 years learning gap brought about by the pandemic. Daily, they face numerous obstacles and ad versity. They require an engag ing, appealing, and dynamic learning environment. They have earned opportunities to apply the knowledge gained in group lessons. Fundamental to the nature of knowledge is its relativity. Each student is unique, and their education should reflect their individual’s needs. I ensure my students’ learning fosters their intel lectual and emotional devel opment. I allow my students to engage in independent thinking. They should not be obliged to comply with something with which they disagree. They must be able to think independently.
Regulate...

For these reasons, some experts think it’s better to avoid praising kids for skills. Instead, praise them for things that they can clearly transform — like their level of effort or the strategies they use.
3. Be careful, too, about using extreme praise. Even if children believe that we’re earnest and genuine to our praises, this kind of inflated, over-the-top praise can lead to a dilemma. It sets a crazy-high custom. How can a child hope to sustain it? Let’s remember the fact that the youngest children might not perceive a problem. They lack the insight to be anxious about their future per formance and the like. But as children mature, things change, including their insights. They are afraid to lose our admira tion and appreciation. So when they encounter a new challenge, they withdraw. They don’t want to risk failure. They don’t want to look bad and get messed up.

The second is more practical and it speaks as a whole person, that leadership as modeling. Actions are to be preferred over words. Can be seen, hear, touch, and present to every need, he or she the embodiment of a true follower because the true leader is a true follower. In my class, I always practice the sincerity of a smile. I told them that, the sincerity of a smile comes from within. You just simply see your worth and goodness and be radiant by smiling at them back as you perceived that they also have worth and goodness.
Children might also get the message that aptitude or bent is something that human beings either have or don’t have. This leaves kids feeling weak when they make mistakes. What’s the point of trying to improve if your mistakes indicate that you lack intelligence?
I believe in praising and disciplining classroom be havior. If there are problems in the classroom, I will speak softly and directly with the student. I’ll find a solution to the issue that we can both implement. Nevertheless, if the situation persists, I will take the appropriate measures to prevent its recurrence. I also acknowledge my chil dren’s positive conduct and accomplishments. I believe children will work harder if they know they will be recognized and rewarded for their accomplishments.

What is so painful is that these so-called Electric Coop eratives are just cooperatives in name only. This is based on the landmark decision of the Supreme Court penned by no less than Justice Mariano del Castillo in 2003 in the case of Philreca vs. Dept of Finance. How dare these socalled Electric Cooperatives are brandishing themselves as cooperatives when they are not even registered with the Cooperative Development Authority which by law is the only registering agency of all types of cooperatives? Such is a great fallacy which must be corrected. When I as Chairman then of the CDA tried to correct such social wrong, I was crucified no end with three attempts to my life.
