TWO new planetary systems that include three most Earth-like planets in the socalled “habitable zone,” the range of distance from a star where the surface temperature of an orbiting planet might be suitable for liquid water, have been identified, scientists from US space agency NASA reported in the journal Science on Thursday.

The Kepler-62 system has five planets: 62b, 62c, 62d, 62e and 62f. The Kepler-69 system has two planets: 69b and 69c.

Orbiting its star every 122 days, Kepler62e was the first of these habitable zone planets discovered by NASA’s Kepler telescope, which was launched in 2009 to discover Earth-like planets orbiting other stars. Kepler-62e is roughly 60 percent larger than Earth.

Military condemns rebel atrocities in Mindanao CAMP EVANGELISTA, Cagayan de Oro City – The military on Thursday condemned the terror campaign of the New People’s Army (NPA) rebels sowing fear and instability among individuals and communities in Northern Mindanao.

Maj. Leo E. Bongasia, spokesperson of the army’s 4th Infantry Division here, said that the NPA rebels conducted a series of abductions and burnings of equipments in the municipality of Tagbina, Surigao del Sur; Loreto and San Luis, Agusan del Norte; Claveria, Mis amis Or ient a l and in Q ue zon, Bukidnon.

CEB flies over 3.53m guests in Q1 2013 THE Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB) flew more than 3.53 million passengers from January to March (Q1) 2013, an increase of 5% compared to 3.37 million passengers in Q1 2012.

Pagasa: LPA to bring rains over Visayas, Mindanao Training A trough of a low-pressure area (LPA) continues to affect the Mindanao and also expected to bring rain to parts of Visayas in the next two to three days, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Friday.

In its advisory, PAGASA said that due to trough or extended cloud of LPA, Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms, particularly over the regions of ARMM, Soccsksargen and Davao and the provinces of Agusan and Surigao del Sur. Weather forecaster Connie Dadi-

vas said that a trough or the extended clouds of an LPA is forecasted to affect Visayas and Mindanao over the weekend, bringing light to moderate rains in these areas.

However, she noted that the LPA near Mindanao is not expected to enter the country anymore.

“Sa ngayon, hindi na natin ito (LPA) inaasahang papasok ng PAR (Philippine area of responsibility), pero magdadala pa rin ito ng mga pag-ulan sa Visayas and Mindanao hangang Linggo dahil sa extended clouds nito na aabot sa mga areas na ito,” Dadivas said.

She added that the LPA has a slim chance of intensifying into a

tropical depression.

Meanwhile, Dadivas said Northern Luzon will also experience a short relief from the summer heat as a tail-end of a cold front is forecasted to move back and affect this region starting Saturday.

“Inaasahan po natin na magrerecede na ang ridge of ahighpressure area at babalik na ang cold front sa Northern Luzon this weekend ... at dahil dito ay makakaranas ang area na ito ng partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains,” she noted.

However, Dadivas said the rest of Luzon including Metro Manila will continue to feel the hot weather.

Until Sunday, she said Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon is expected to have sunny to partly cloudy skies with possible isolated rains in the afternoon or evening due to localized thunderstorms.

Dadivas noted that these areas may expect 34 up to 36 degrees Celsius for the next three days.

On Thursday, the highest temperature recorded at PAGASA’s Science Garden in Diliman, Quezon City was 35.9 degrees Celsius at 4 p.m.

ILIGAN City--The National Union of Journalists of the Philippines (NUJP) Iligan Chapter convened the media in a one-day election reporting training Tuesday here in Iligan City.

Some 35 selected group of print and broadcast journalists and practitioners in both Lanao provinces and in Iligan City participated in the training and in the discussion which focused on the elections, media ethics, election coverage and media safety.

The training started with the discussion on the Fair Election Act led by Election Officer Rabin Arumpac, who represented Atty. Joseph Hamilton Cuevas, provincial election supervisor of Lanao del Norte. He also discussed the Commission on Election’s accreditation of media to cover the 2013 elections.

Aging veterans’ battle shifts to additional pension, benefits

THE Veterans Federation of the Philippines Sons and Daughter Association, Inc. (VFPSDAI) vows to continue to push for its advocacies intended to uplift the general welfare of Wold War II veterans or their beneficiaries as mandated by the Philippine Constitution, VFP Sons and Daughters Association, Inc. (VFPSDAI) Deputy Regional Vice President for NCR–South Miguel Angelo C. Villa-Real, said during the weekly BusinessWeek Mindanao News Conference (NEWSCON), Friday, April 19, 2013, at the BWM Media Center.

Villa-Real represented VFP-SDAI National President Percianita Racho, who did not make it to the NEWSCON despite prior arrangement due to equally important undertaking in Agusan del Norte.

Villa-Real said the VFP-SDAI fights for the implementation of increase in old-age pension for all veterans.

“The P5,000 a month pension for a veteran

has been there for 15 years now and is way below the sustainable budget,” he added.

VFP-SDAI, according to Villa-Real, laments over the low pension being received by veterans or their beneficiaries when they compared it to the amount received by government employees when they retire.

“And yet, these people are heroes. They

Are you a “yes man” or woman?

Do you always say yes to every body who asks you for a favor and help?

Some of us just can’t say no to others. The problem is our “yes” often means stress—to us and our family.

Many times saying yes to one person means saying no to someone else like your own mate and children.

Of course, we need to care about others and try our best to help those who need it. But we must also know our limits and that we cannot always say yes to everybody who asks us for help.

Learning to sometimes say no to others will mean yes to your own family and responsibilities, which will help lower the stress in your life and home.

Remember, you’re the

So each time someone asks us for a favor and help, we must look carefully at their request and decide if doing this for them is actually helping them.

You see, if we never let others take responsibility for themselves and their own problems, then we’re

not really helping them to become responsible and successful, since we’re always doing their job for them.

So just being a “yes man” or woman is not always the kindest thing, nor is it being a true friend.

Other times, when someone asks you to do them a favor, you don’t need to answer them right away.

You can tell them that you’re not sure and you’ll answer them later. This way you have time to think about it and check your own

BARELY a month left in the campaign season and the Comelec is swarmed with violation reports left right and center but to no avail of course. And typically the one popular violation most incumbents (of all candidates) violate is the size of posters allowed.

It seems candidates are enamored to print posters outside the authorized size other than to plaster them everywhere literally Harry Tambuatco and in multiples as if the readers (meaning the potential voters) require more than one poster to read should the candidate ask for their vote.

Then of course there is the annoying distorted and blaring sounds amplified in mobile carriers with its redundancy making it annoying for the pedestrian on the street to complain about.

I guess these candidates must feel it takes more than one poster in any singular site for the pedestrian to read his or her poster and multiple replays for the sounds he requires.

Are the voters so stupid they require all this campaign material?

Interestingly enough many a poster does not even promote what exactly the candidate wishes to do in office asking for a mandate.

Many posters have the face of the candidate, the position requested and no more.

I even found one poster plastered with no particular

schedule and responsibilities first.

Maybe you can help this other person, but at a different time then they asked. Or, you can help them if they’ll take care of the job or errand you won’t be able to do because you’re helping them. Often, people will still be thankful for your help.

S o have you been stressed because you’re always saying yes?

You realize you’re giving too much time and energy to helping everyone who asks you for a favor or help, and your family’s been hurting since you’re neglecting your responsibilities to them.

Just ask Jesus Christ to forgive you. Jesus will help you learn how to wisely choose when to say yes and when to say no.

There is also the occasional candidate that walks around not only with bodyguard in tow (and for what, to protect from people he/ she is asking a vote for) and worst of all an umbrella propped up above his head so the candidate is not inconvenienced with the glaring sun.

The things one notices on the campaign trail is surreal is at times a cause for vomit but the masa gobble it all up. It is obvious the masa requires multiple posters side by side as presented by candidates for both local and national. OMG, the elections!

-oooINANITIES, RATHER THAN SUBSTANCE: It’s a typical Sixto Brillantes Jr. The reaction, I mean, that he gave to the motion with the Supreme Court of 1 ANG BATAS Party List to postpone the elections for party list groups from May to October 2013, is typical of him---condescending and insulting, for lack of logical arguments to back him up.

Imagine, 1 ANG BATAS raised factual and legal issues in asking the high court to reset the election for party

Batas Mauricio list groups---that is, that the review of the party list qualifications’ as ordered by the tribunal may take time, and that the same order of the Supreme Court will require the application of the Constitutional provision on equal protection of the laws so all party list groups could be evaluated on the basis of the new Supreme Court guidelines---and yet he has chosen to deal with inanities rather than on

substance.

Why, what did Brillantes, as chairman of the Commission on Elections, say to the petition of 1 ANG BATAS? He said, as quoted by the media: 1 ANG BATAS “might just be exploring the possibility of reversing its disqualification by the Comelec. If it will be postponed and there will be a review, they may be thinking that they will have a chance to participate in

the elections…”

-oooACCREDITATION FOR SEVERAL MILLION REASONS: With due respect to Brillantes, 1 ANG BATAS is, of course, exploring the possibility that it may still participate in the elections, notwithstanding that it was disqualified by the Comelec earlier. 1 ANG BATAS believes that if the Comelec allowed other party list groups which are not really qualified to become party list candidates, or other nominees which are not really marginalized, 1 ANG BATAS should also be accredited.

As such, artificial sweeteners and sugar substitutes can be very appealing to people looking to cut their calories or control blood sugar. According to studies, coco sugars has a naturally low glycemic index (GI) which has led some to claim that it is a valuable sugar substitute for people with diabetes or those looking to control blood sugar. GI is a measure of how sugar-based food impacts blood sugar, wherein high GI foods causes rapid rise in blood glucose levels in humans.

Aside from the low-GI content, palm sugars also offers health benefits as it contains other elements

needed by the body such as potassium, phosphorus, nitrogen, magnesium, among others.

Kaong Palm Sugars As the demand for alternative sugars increases, a team of researchers led

by Dr. Lydia Manguiat of DOST-Calabarzon, has found another healthy substitute in kaong palms (Arenga pinnata). Kaong palms or sugar palms are best known for its fruit processed into salad ingredient and the popular kaong vinegar.

A recent study under

the “Development of Low GI Palm Sugar” Program, researchers found out that kaong sap contains a GI value of 40 which is five points higher than coco sap sugar.

“While a tad higher compared to coconut sap sugar, kaong sap sugar is still categorized as low GI foods,” said Dr. Manguiat.

According to Dr. Manguiat, kaong sap sugar has been in existence ever since, especially in Cavite and Quezon are. It is served as a local delicacy in the form of pakaskas. “With

its distinct caramel taste, the local palm sugar can be developed into a high-value commodity, as well as its by products,” she added.

According to Dr. Lorenzo Lapitan of Cavite State University, “Kaong palms have a high potential for sugar production due to the abundance of palms in the country coupled with its high sugar conversion ratio.”

According to CavSU’s studies, a single kaong plant can produce 2500 liters of sap which totals roughly to about 1000 kg of sugar per hectare.

Similar with the coco sap sugar, kaong palm sugar is also a very good source of many key minerals and vitamins including potassium, magnesium, protein, calcium, and iron in beneficial quantities not present in refined sugars “ T h e pro g r am w i l l greatly enhance the palm industry, which can help our local farmers augment their income as well as providing healthy options to sweet lovers,” Dr. Manguiat claimed.

Dr. Juana M. Dela Rama, Vice President for Students Affair, disclosed that upon enrollment, books, workbooks, references are provided by the school to the scholars.

Not only that, tutorials and make-up classes for slow learner scholars are conducted by MUST, told Dr. Dela Rama.

For his part, Dela Rama quoted Engineer Ricardo Rotoras, MUST President of saying, special treatment must be afforded to the scholars as part of the university’s social responsibility.

Last school year, Rotoras and MUST officials allowed student grantees credits in the university canteen, especially during the delayed release of their allowance.

Each grantee of the SGPPA will have P30,000.00 allowance every semester which cover P800.00 a month board and lodging, P71 a day for meal or P1,789 a month.

A stipend for tutorial is also given for each grantee.

The vice president pointed out that the school directly handles the purchase of books and references for the

scholars while the budget for dormitory, tutorial and stipend are given directly to the students through their respective personal ATM accounts.

“Upon release of allowance, the students meet with the school coordinator to dicuss matters relative to the program,” said Dela Rama, who disclosed that she personally asked the teachers to consider the performance of the scholars.

Most the scholars are residents of far-flung barangays of Camiguin island, Bukidnon, Misamis Occidental, and Lanao del Norte and have stopped schooling for at least two years after graduating from a provincial or community secondary schools.

Some of the scholars are solo parent while few are married.

These are but few realities of scholars MUST have endured during the first year of implementation of SGP-PA. With that, the university president directed all professors of the university ‘to give special treatment’ to the scholars.

“We really extended our service to them who are very eager to finish their studies despite some difficulties encountered,” said Dela Rama, adding that the scholars have committed to maintain good grades.

However, she pointed out

that the special treatment did not affect the standards of the university in molding and preparing the students academically.

“They really strive to reach for their dreams which are to earn a college degree, to pass board exams, and to be employed to help their respective families,” added the Dela Rama.

Most of the scholars took education-related courses, some engineering courses and few information communication technology courses.

For her part, Pantawid Pamilya Regional Project Coordinator Kenneth Haze Sanchez thanked MUST for the privileges and ‘special treatment’ it afforded to the scholars.

Sanchez said the facilitation of the school is of great help to the scholars, noting the grantees need to level the standards of the school through bridging programs like tutorials and make up classes.

Last year, Northern Mindanao has 265 scholars granted under the SGP-PA but 22 had dropped out while 11 did not enroll.

The dropping out of the grantees is highly contributed to the delayed downloading of allowance.

CHED has released the funds in September 2012.

However, in the second semester last year, grantees had received monthly al-

lowances regularly.

Aside from the academic formation, scholars were also recipients of medical mission conducted by the school.

Lawyer Araceli F. Solamillo, Regional Director of DSWD Field Office 10, recommended however to the scholars not to be too dependent to the special attention given by the school.

Instead, they should exert more efforts to have excellent academic performance, Atty. Solamillo said.

“They should maintain a satisfactory academic performance in accordance with the policies and standards of the school,” told regional director, adding that scholars should also carry a full load per semester as prescribed in the curriculum and finish within the required period of the program.

Grantees of the program is predetermined by the DSWD central office and validated by DSWD regional office.

After graduation, scholars are expected to render services for two years.

mainly depends on the Agus-Pulangi hydro complex, which accounts for half of the island’s power supply, the most that the government can do is “minimize” power interruptions.

Llaneza shared that the NPC already reduced the flow of water in Iligan City’s Maria Cristina Falls so that during the Election Day, more water will be released, which he wished “will be enough na hindi tayo magkakaroon ng problema (to prevent problems).”

Based on the NPC’s current water dispatch protocol, the water inflow has been set around 80-85 cubic meters per second.

Earlier, Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) Secretary Luwalhati Antonino said the hydro complex generates lower capacity “because of its reduced water intake due to low water levels,” especially during the summer season.

Llaneza maintained that the island remains in a situation where power generation “is wanting,” adding that power cuts will definitely continue until “big ticket” projects come online in 2015, citing the coal-fired power plants (CFPPs) in Toril, Davao City and in Maasin town, Sarangani Province — projects which have been widely opposed by environmental advocates.

He said though that the cities of Davao, Cotabato and Cagayan de Oro are lucky for having their own generators to continue enjoying power services.

For the meantime, he said, modular generator sets are the fastest, albeit temporary, solution to the island’s power woes. “They could buy it on their own, rent it or have the government help them in financing,” he said.

A month’s rent of a modular generator set, which had to be imported from foreign suppliers, costs about PHP 1.4 Million. Llaneza confirmed that this solution would definitely cost more to the power consumers, a point that was raised by a movement of women, the Kidapawan City-Local Council of Women (KCLCW).

The KC-LCW earlier pointed out that modular generator sets are only “palliative” and “an added burden to the consumers” as it will increase power rates that could trigger a domino effect on the prices of basic goods and services.

Llaneza said that longterm solutions must be done, hoping for more projects like the CFPPs which, according to him, is “very much cheaper” compared to solar power, which are only done in off-grid areas where power cooperatives don’t have a plan yet of electrifying.

In a separate interview, Nilo Geroche, chief of DOE’s Science Research Specialist, Energy Industry Management Division, said that the

“To be partisan in Philippine politics does not

necessarily mean to side with one party only,” he said as he explained that “voters are expected to follow their conscience in choosing public officials that will serve the common good and help in the development of their community.”

This simply means that voters, and even candidates, must exercise panpartisanship, which means “reaching out to all political affiliations.”

The 70-year-old Jesuit prelate said that in Cagayan de Oro and other communities within the Archdiocese’s jurisdiction, to be panpartisan means (1) to be against vote selling and vote buying; (2) against political dynasties; and (3) to care for the environment.

The Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro had launched the “Our Votes are Not for Sale” campaign, which Ledesma said is “a direct call to all traditional politicians (trapos) against the practice of rampant votebuying (which is considered a criminal offense).

“More profoundly, votebuying as well as vote-selling are offenses against the dignity of the voter himself who ‘exchanges’ his reasoning and freedom for a fleeting sum of money,” he said.

Last March 3, Ledesma led the Mindanao launch of the Movement Against Dynasties (MAD) at the St. Augustine Metropolitan Cathedral.

“Political dynasties are co-related with corruption because there are no longer checks and balances when people from the same families are in office and helping one another,” he said in his homily during the Eucharistic celebration during the launching.

He said that studies done by the University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University and the Asian Institute of Management show the correlation of political dynasties with corruption, poverty and violence.

“The more the larger the political dynasties in government, the more poverty seems to persist in our economy,” he said as he cited another study that showed that at least 70 percent of the Philippines’ public officials today belong to political dynasties.

“It is, I think, a sad commentary that our leadership cannot be more widely spread among people who are perhaps more competent, more conscientious and more committed than members of political dynasties,” he lamented.

In his Pastoral Letter, Ledesma reminded everyone that the 1987 Constitution has inscribed provisions against political dynasties. “’As monopolies in business, monopolies in politics limit the entry that can bring in new ideas and better services. Political dynasties breed corruption and ineptitude’,” he quoted the CBCP statement. “A related advocacy is the campaign

against pork barrel allocations – which impels political dynasties to expand to control the largesse of public funds.”

As to the third issue in being pan-partisan—which is care and conservation of the environment—Ledesma urged everyone not to forget the lessons of Tropical Storm Washi (Sendong), which devastated the city on December 16, 2011.

“Typhoon Sendong has taught us the bitter lessons from the wanton degradation of our watershed areas surrounding Cagayan de Oro River and other tributaries. The continued bleeding of Iponan River from hydraulic flush mining also has to be stopped. The rehabilitation and protection of our environment should be a pan-partisan concern of all candidates for public office,” he stressed.

Aside from being panpartisan, Ledesma also reminded voters to “choose candidates with the five C’s – that they be men and women of Character, Conscience, Competence, Compassion, and Commitment” as well as candidates who are “maka-Diyos, maka-Tao, maka-Buhay, maka-Bayan, and maka-Kalikasan.”

guess, but, certainly, 1 ANG BATAS did not have the capacity to deal with those who were saying it could be accredited for several million reasons.

Even now, if you look around the country, you can see that there are many party list groups that the Comelec accredited which cannot even show anything to prove that they have done something for the poor and the marginalized and the underrepresented. How come these groups were accredited while 1 ANG BATAS, whose core group already won as a party list in 2007, winning two seats, was not? Brillantes could very well answer this truthfully.

-oooMAN PROPOSES, GOD DISPOSES: And, unless Brillantes has forgotten, the issue of whether or a party list group that the Comelec disqualified earlier---like 1 ANG BATAS---could still participate lies with the Supreme Court, where petitions are still pending questioning the poll body’s decision to disqualify those groups.

And, unless Brillantes has forgotten, the fact is that the accreditation of 1 ANG BATAS as a party list group is still under consideration by the Supreme Court, and that, like in the case of the 52 party list groups that the tribunal tossed back to the poll body for a determination of their qualifications pursuant to the guidelines that had been put in place and which had been ordered to be used henceforth, the case of 1 ANG BATAS is still going to go through the same process.

With due respect to Brillantes as the chairman of Comelec, the reversal that he suffered in the hands of the Supreme Court over his denial of accreditation to the 52 party list groups may yet overtake him in the case of 1 ANG BATAS. Indeed, 1 ANG BATAS believes that “man proposes, but only God disposes”, as the Bible said in Proverbs 16:3, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”

Participants were made to list down ethical issues during election coverage.

It is summarized into the following: report events exactly as it happens-and not as what you would like them to happen, be impartial in every way; give equal prominence to all the major candidates, this means attending an equal number of candidate’s meetings; be careful not to color your reports with inflammatory language; be careful not to be seen to be taking sides in political arguments; do not accept any inducement from a candidate or his/her supporters; do not promise a politician (or anyone else for that matter) that a report or story will appear in the paper; report what you see without exaggeration; do not use extravagant language in describing crowd scenes and exercise fair play.

If a candidate makes an accusation against his opponent, ask that opponent for comment.

Paraan also discussed the guidelines on covering elections, with reference to the Journalist’s Code of Ethics.

JB Deveza, NUJP deputy secretary-general, also asked participants to list down short and long term measures that need to be undertaken by the journalist himself, the media outlet or the NUJP chapter in particular, to prevent escalation of media harassment/attacks during election coverage.

Relative to the issue, the state has three distinct duties, these are: Never to take part in, or to sanction or condone attacks against the media or media facilities; take effective action to prevent violent attacks from taking place and where violations have taken place, to investigate the attack, to bring the guilty parties to justice and to provide an effective remedy to the victim, Deveza said.

Meanwhile, Ronnie Enderes, president of the NUJPIligan Chapter thanked all his colleagues in the media who attended the activity, where challenges and issues in covering the upcoming May 2013 elections could in a way be addressed, especially media safety.

NUJP speakers also lauded the participants’ response during the workshop with their outputs which could be beneficial to covering the elections.

Nat’l Palm Oil Congress ends with growth, dev’t optimism

“SLOWLY but steadily, the Philippine Palm Oil Industry is expanding and, in the process, brings to the country the benefit of the Oil Palm tree, which has revolutionized the rural communities in the neighboring Asian countries.

If Petroleum oil is a gift to the Arabs for their prosperity, palm oil is a gift for the ASEAN’s prosperity,” Dr. Pablito Pamplona, director and secretary of the Philippine Palm Oil Development Council, Inc., said.

This turned out to be the over-all impact of the two-day 8th National Palm Oil Congress, which culminated Friday, April 19, 2013, here at the Xavier Sports and Country Club, Xavier Heights, Cagayan de Oro City.

However, the Philippines needs to plant 12,000 -18,000 hectares per year just to be self-sufficient in palm oil, the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) said.

BCDA said the Philippines is a net importer of palm oil due to shortfall of

domestic supply while also experiencing a continuous increase in domestic demand. Domestic demand exceeds production by 10% annually.

ThePhilippines’ palm oil import is now at 155,936 metric tons (MT) valued at US$150 M. Opportunities for growth are reflected in the steadily expanding demand for palm oil in local and export markets.

As this developed, the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) has made clear its policies on Oil Palm development during

The PCA stand pat on giving priority to idle, unproductive and underdeveloped areas in oil palm development.

It, however, said that planting of oil palms will be encouraged only in areas where an oil mill is available or assured and that investments in oil mills will be facilitated where there is anticipated large-scale plantings.

PCA also made clear that oil palm development will be promoted through organized growers who have marketing tie-ups with oil millers. “All oil palm nursery operators will be required to register and be accredited by the Philippine Coconut Authority to assure growers of quality planting materials,” it said.

Also, local Research and Development (R & D) will be supported and coordinated by the government, even as PCA has been tasked to coordinate with commercial plantation owners, establish nurseries and distribute planting materials to interested growers.

For his part, PPCDI President Robertino Pizarro, who is also president of A Brown Company, told media practitioners

during the BusinessWeek Mindanao News Conference (NEWSCON) that the oil palm industry is not competing with the coconut industry, but the two industries are rather complementing each other.

He urged the media to help in properly disseminating the true prospect in oil palm industry.

Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) Vice Chairman Ghadzali Jaafar made a special appearance and assured oil palm growers of their safety and security in the areas of operation of the MILF, even as he said that the MILF’s participation in the said palm oil congress is an indication of their early fulfilment to one of the three agenda in their recent talks, which is “normalcy.”

He refused to divulge further the other important aspects of the talks, but assured the public that an agreement will be signed before the year ends.
