Assalamo alaikum warahmatullah hi wabarakatuho

In behalf of the Municipal Government of Buldon, I extend my greetings to my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters from around the world a blessed Eid’l Fit’r, the culmination of the Holy Month of Ramadhan.

As we celebrate Eid’l Fitr, may we uplift each other as we profess our faith and devotion. Let us be reminded that our celebration will be meaningless without a heart that gives and a heart that loves. Our life is purposeless if it is not lived for others.

In this joyous occasion, it is my sincere hope that the spirit of compassion would reign in our hearts.

Eid Mubarak!

Facing the Challenges on new Normal Condition

The Worldwide pandemic, the Coronavirus-COVID-19 forcefully brought changes in all aspects of people’s lives, community, family and even in education. In education, this pandemic gives tremendous shifts from traditional classroom setting to new normal.

Quoted from the statement of DepEd Secretary, Hon Leonor M. Briones, It is our ultimate goal to facilitate the safe return of our teachers and learners to schools without the worry for COVID-19 but until such time is already possible, we will do everything in our capacity to carry on so that basic education will still be available despite the crisis. We expect a grueling transition and we will need the help and support of all our stakeholders.

There will be birth pains in this path but we look forward in having our teachers, our parents, our learners and our communities as allies who will work with us to provide valuable insights and contributions.

We reiterate the importance of education to bring normalcy to the lives of our learners but their health and safety, ultimately is most important.

As shared by many writers, there would be a shift; and this will take place from learning space, the teaching delivery, and in the teaching and learning process.

The first shift on learning space is that instead of going to school, learning can take place using personal devices.

The learning interaction will be from traditional classroom setting to virtual. We still interact with the learning community we are in.

We still exchange conversations with classmates, teachers and lecturers. We are not cut off from the learning community we have merely shifted our communication channels.

The next shift on teaching/ learning deliver where teacher teachers in one classroom setting, interacting with more or less forty-five (45) students,

to individualized and differentiated.

In this manner, students will be treated uniquely depending on the choice of instruction they prefer. However, the teaching objectives remains the same. The teachers here will give time on designing lesson materials that could really address to the learning needs of the students.

The other shift could be on the giving of immediate learning assistance to the students. Because if the students’ choice in virtual learning, though teachers can always deliver lessons and learning materials online, but if student needs assistance or reference, the immediate person to do would be the parents or the elder member of the family. In this process, the involvement of the family members in learning is very essential. Therefore, we can say that in learning, it is the duty of everybody specially in facing this pandemic. Stay strong, stay committed.

Initiating Teacher’s Skill on Instructional Mode Using Blended Learning

To be or not to be? This is now the question of all Filipino students regarding the new mode of teaching amid the pandemic.

Philippine education is now completely taking leads as one of the most affected sectors in the society brought about by COVID-19. Great numbers of students plead their schools for mass promotion and halt implementation of online instruction due to lack of learning facilities and preparations. Are we all ready for the “new normal”

The early end of the school year last march 17 has created a huge impact psychologically, emotionally and mentally to all the learners in the basic and tertiary education nationwide. No graduation, moving up ceremonies and other promotional activities which are once in a blue moon to happen in the life of a student due to the challenge of COVID-19. The government has its battle cry to flatten the curve of the dreadful disease by staying at home and avoid mass gathering which is contradictory to the school setting.

The initial intervention of the Department of Education (DepEd) is to transition the traditional method of instruction to virtual platform. These ideas pave ways to the utilization of technology. In fact, the agency promoted use of restructured online resources such as DepEd Commons and accessible application using cellphones, tables, laptops and others. One of which is the contemporary wired accessibility the Google which has variety of usage depending upon the needs namely Google Meet, Google classroom, Google Team and its alternate Zoom. Teachers are encouraged to participate and involve themselves in the new trend because soon they will be using and applying the insights in their own computergenerated classrooms.

Home school and online education sound very promising and interesting to hear because of their uniqueness and innovativeness but we have to think also the effects and consequences of these to the eye of the parents who are

Importance of Class Election

People can express their political opinions through the electoral process. They demonstrate this viewpoint by electing a political leader in a public vote. This political figure would also be in a position of power and accountability. Most importantly, an election is a formal process for communal decision-making. It is crucial that elections are held for legitimate positions with legitimate duties. The notion and function of representation as well as the procedural and outcome aspects of elections must be better understood by the students.

Students must act responsibly in their classes while carrying out their duties as class officers. In order for the entire class to interact and communicate effectively, class officers maintain their classrooms functioning efficiently. Student classroom

also affected of the so called. Information brought by the news and other surveys like the none face to face and face to face learning mode depict that some of our fellowmen are not ready to the big influence of this “new normal”

This day, even without a contagion, education authorities must invest quality education and must think that there is no child left behind. Academicians, school administrators and government should work hand in hand to answer the questions of humanity. Still the saying “if there’s a will, there’s a way” is powerful utterances nowadays, we are the ones who will help to elevate the levels of education in our nations. We can uplift our own spirits by helping one another and by strengthening our weaknesses. Instead of ranting the government and stress their flaws why not involve yourself to solve the problem.
