Honoring our loved ones a year after Sendong

ore than 500 still remain missing here in Cagayan de Oro; a year after Typhoon Sendong devastated the city in December 17 in 2011. Families who were left behind has nowhere to go to honor their loved ones who

Northern Mindanao says: “It was a project that came about without considering the cost and the magnitude of the project. A fellow Past President in the chapter, JCI Sen. Gigi Go shared the same feeling- and so even without the initial funding to start the
construction- we chose to start building it despite the financial concerns”. JCI Sen. Cesar is the project chair of the said Memorial Wall. But in the middle of the construction of the tribute wall, financial assistance started pouring in. HONORING | Page 4
