> I look forward to a challenging and exciting education in Switzerland <
Welcome to the S Mr. Albert Niggli, President
Typically, the world of work moves ahead more quickly than the world of education. As a result, there are often too few individuals truly qualified to meet and adapt to the specific demands stemming from any given industry’s rapid change and development. In the world of hospitality and tourism, this is a particularly critical issue in view of the incredible expansion and diversification this industry has been experiencing. At SSH Swiss School of Hotel and Tourism Management, which is one of four schools that form the Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality, we therefore strive to offer a program blending cutting edge theory with intensive “real-world” practical training,

The Fine Art of Swiss Hospitality Switzerland has a long history and well-established reputation of providing excellent service to its myriad guests. Individuals educated in the Swiss tradition of service, coupled with a thorough understanding of management techniques, are highly sought after. At Swiss School, we have been developing managers for the hospitality and tourism industry since 1967. As a result, we have earned a reputation for excellence. Our German-division program is one of the few programs in Switzerland recognized by the Swiss federal government. The English division mirrors that course of study and boasts a Swiss government equivalency declaration. The syllabi and many of the teachers are the same; only the language of instruction is different. Add to fact that Swiss School is a member of the ASEH Swiss Hotel Schools Association and has ISO 9001:2000 certification and you have a proven formula for success.

Location > The Alumni Association is a great platform to keep up with my friends and developments at the school <
The Swiss School head office is located near Chur, the capital of the canton (state) of Graubünden. Graubünden itself has a long tradition when it comes to hospitality and tourism. The home of world-renowned resort areas such as St. Moritz, Davos and Klosters, Graubünden has been named “the holiday corner of Switzerland”. Chur is the oldest city in Switzerland, having been first settled 5000 years ago. About 120 kilometers from Zurich, Chur can be easily reached by rail or motorway. Where better to study hospitality and tourism management than in the place where it all began!
