Getting in Touch with your PPT To email your PPT just separate their name with a dot and add @suffolkone.ac.uk; for example firstname.surname@suffolkone.ac.uk You can also visit the Student Services page on Moodle for ways to contact your PPT.
What does a PPT do? Each student is assigned a PPT who: »» Monitors attendance and behaviour »» Works with parents and outside agencies »» Delivers tutorial programmes »» Carries out 1:1 interviews that focus on academic
attainment and progression
»» Takes a holistic overview within the reporting cycle »» Is a student advocate »» Is the starting point for any extended support needed

aSuffer with anxiety, depression or panic attacks aHave housing worries aWould like to work on your physical or mental health aAre worried about substance abuse aNeed advice and guidance about your next steps after One
Additional Support During your time with us, you may need additional support and help with your studies. We can help you in areas such as: access arrangements for exams, emotional support or additional learning resources. The easiest way to do this is to talk to your PPT, who will signpost you to the most appropriate person within One. We will also help to support you through the transition process from school to college. If you need extra help because of a physical, sensory or a specific disability, One offers a range of support services that can help you. For more information please contact our Director of Student Services on 01473 556612. How does our ambition for supporting our students reflect in student success at One? We have a 95.5% retention figure of students moving from Year 12 into Year 13.

students applying to University and this figure has continued to grow in 2016.
