EDMONTON OPERA PRE-SEASON PROGRAM This pre-season program is certain to be a show piece that will help you gain exposure to a wide audience. It will be distributed in June to the Opera’s many subscribers, donors and sponsors at annual events including the 19th Annual Golf Classic, at the Glendale Golf and Country Club on June 12, and the 5th Annual Opera al Fresco, at the Devonian Botanic Garden on June 20.
EDMONTON OPERA 2014/2015 SEASON THE BARBER OF SEVILLE Rossini October 25 • 28 • 30, 2014 The escape begins in October 2014, with The Barber of Seville set on a movie studio backlot. This production originated in Vancouver, where it recently received great reviews featuring Rosina as a starlet on the silver screen, Bartolo as the studio owner and Figaro as a meddlesome hairstylist.
THE MAGIC FLUTE Mozart January 31 • February 3 • 5, 2015 A new production of Mozart’s enchanted opera, The Magic Flute, embraces a delightful, whimsical world where a dashing prince and a very lovesick birdcatcher face numerous trials in the form of a giant serpent, moody monarchs and more.
LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR Donizetti April 18 • 21 • 23, 2015 Drama unfolds with Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor to close the season. In this bel canto masterpiece, madness is used as more than just a plot function; it plays out as a personal tragedy, a political statement and a healing ritual.

All performances take place at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, which seats approximately 2,400 people.
