The foundation of the HealthRHYTHMS® drumming program is the evidence-based HealthRHYTHMS® Group Empowerment Drumming Protocol. Scientific research has demonstrated that as a wellness strategy, HealthRHYTHMS® can create positive changes in the immune system, reduce burn-out and improve mood states. Participating in HealthRHYTHMS® Group Empowerment Drumming provides an extraordinary opportunity to discover your personal rhythm and enhance the overall quality of your life. Additional information about the research that supports HealthRHYTHMS® is available online at remo.com/health.
Awareness Through the Body (ATB) is a way to enhance concentration, relaxation and self-knowledge. Through a wide variety of exploration and games, ATB offers individuals opportunities to come to know themselves better, to explore the complexity of their being, and find ways to integrate and harmonize this complexity around their innermost centre. The activities are synthesized from a variety of different disciplines: yoga, dance, martial arts, mindfulness, new games and more. Introspection is balanced with dynamic and fun activities. This two-day introductory workshop is for adults, teachers, therapists and those interested in personal growth.

SLU - Morrissey Hall
Are you ready to dust off that old résumé? Come join Act 2® coach Bev Berner for an informative and interactive session and learn how to create a powerful résumé that reflects your unique experience and style. Learn how to create your own strong accomplishment statements—key elements of a wellwritten résumé that set you apart from everyone else—and remind you of what you enjoy doing and where you bring value.
IQ…EQ. What’s the difference? Many believe that emotional intelligence (EQ) is more important than IQ and that a high EQ enhances the value of your IQ. And guess what? You can raise your EQ level. Dr. Patt Pickett of HireCoach explains what the “EQ edge” is all about and shows examples of EQ (and the lack of it) in business and personal situations. Learn how to increase your EQ by practicing awareness and applying the EQ tools presented. Discover what the 26 EQ competencies are and how they are measured by the Social and Emotional Intelligence Profile (SEIP®), a science-based assessment with self-help tools.

College Credit Saint Louis University welcomes eligible high school juniors and seniors, as well as students from any college or university, to enroll in college-credit courses this summer. We offer hundreds of courses both on campus and online in a variety of subject areas. From history classes on the origins of the modern world to communication courses on public speaking, there’s bound to be a SLU course that will help you have a get-ahead summer. High school students who have completed their sophomore year with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 system, may, with written recommendation and grade verification from their high school counselor or principal, enroll as a Visiting Young Scholar during the summer and be eligible to receive college credit at a reduced tuition rate. Approved high school students may register for introductory courses for which they have the proper preparation and prerequisites. Students who are visiting from other colleges or universities may also apply. To take courses this summer, students must fill out the online Summer Visiting Undergraduate Application. Continuing Education In the Jesuit tradition, education at Saint Louis University does not end once a diploma is in hand. SLU alumni and community members are called to pursue lives of “continuing education,” whether in individual career fields, family experiences, community engagement and service, or academic studies and research. Saint Louis University is dedicated to providing such opportunities for continuing education, specifically in the classroom, lab and field settings. We offer full degree programs, short-term credit and noncredit certificates, and continuing education units. Courses range in length from one day to a full semester and may include on-campus coursework, convenient online learning and hybrid technologies.
INTERESTED IN APPLYING TO SLU? Take the next step to get ahead and complete an application for admission and scholarships online at admissions.slu.edu.
