Each year, around 150-200 thousand of Taiwanese visit Mainland China, among which 200,000 believers visit Meizhou Island for it is the origin of "Mazu", one of the most well-received Chinese belief along the coast. The planning scope of the project is Phase one of Mazu forum area and the research scope is the entire island, with a total area of 1783.98 ha.

Corridor 2: Meizhou Avenue Connect the Mazu Temple, the town life area, Ewei Mountain Park, Baibo Bay and the S1 site by the central road Mazu Avenue. Function of the two forum sites By developing a cultural core on the east site and later an economic core on the west, the two forum sites would be able to lever existing religious spots and natural resources, and become the carrier of the future transformation on the Meizhou Island. Traffic organization during the Ritual Driving on the Parade Route is prohibited during the ritual period. The automobiles can travel across the Parade Route through a few intersections while yielding to the pedestrians. Several pedestrian bypasses and boat route also provide pilgrim diverse approaches to the ritual sites. \
