Snow has arrived across the mountains of Utah and there’s a distinctive chill in the air. The change of seasons brings shorter days and colder weather; it also heralds another edition of Summit Sotheby’s International Realty’s award-winning publication, Collections Magazine. The bi-annual release of Collections is always exciting—I’m so proud of what our incredible team has accomplished over the last 15 years. It has taken hard work and shared eff ort to reach this point, but what an honor it is to see Collections Magazine today as a tangible representation of our passion and commitment to service, innovation and growth. What started out as a humble in-house property guide is now a head-turning, nationally distributed real estate and lifestyle publication fi lled with current market data, original editorial content and a selection of Utah’s fi nest homes and properties. Perhaps even more pride evoking, this team that I work alongside each and every day is the same team that provides our buyers and sellers a level of experience and execution that simply cannot be matched.

This is the 29 th issue of Collections Magazine—notably, the black and white edition—and it may be my favorite one yet. Utah is a state fi lled with contrast and natural beauty. From the northernmost mountains to the southern sandstone deserts, our mighty landscapes show that stark opposites have the ability to complement and attract. Perspectives can shift depending on one’s location, adding layers and sophistication of thought. The beauty of contrast lies in its ability to enhance and highlight the qualities of opposing elements, creating a dynamic and visually compelling experience. The interplay between opposites creates interest and depth. Interestingly enough, this concept of polarity, or opposites attracting, weaves itself naturally into real estate.
