Sunrise Synergy: The Exquisite Irimari Spacious enough to support every luxury at sea, yet trim enough to navigate the world’s favorite ports, it would seem that Sunrise Yachts’ Irimari is well-suited for a broad range of itineraries. Though born of the Mediterranean, crafted at Sunrise Yachts’ Turkish yard and delivered in May of 2015, she is designed with an unmistakably international spirit, and dressed to the nines on every level. Introduced to the world at the 2015 Monaco Yacht Show, Irimari’s reception met an unprecedented 800 clients, intriguing all through her skillful mastery of space over size. It is a story President and CEO Guillaume Roché beams while recanting, enjoying the success of his firm, opening the doors at the Antalya location in 2007 in partnership with Sunrise Chairman Herbert P. Baum. Building the Business Founded in the Free Zone of the eastern Mediterranean, Sunrise constructed a large, modern, 11,000 square meter facility, 65 meters in length. Leading the way, Sunrise proved the Turkish Riviera a viable superyacht hub, combining affo dable property, skilled workers, and a beautiful coastline. To satisfy demand, a second, larger facility was built, reaching to 13,600 square meters and 75 meters in length, with direct access to the sea, all in preparation for creating a superb yacht like Irimari. Exterior Irimari’s 63-meter/207-foot hull places her substantially into the superyacht category. She holds six cabins for pleasant accommodation of twelve overnight guests in six staterooms, served by 18 crew, and boasts extensive deck space. Grand windows wrap and light every space on the main and upper decks, angled to perfection, as Irimari cruises between 15 and 17 knots. Capable of 5,000 nm, her range hands the world to her as a gift, allowing transatlantic passages that lesser ships decline. Compared to many yachts tens of meters more in length, Irimari continues to appeal as a large, spacious yacht that compromises nothing when compared to her larger peers. Employing a synergy among all involved, the owner’s dream was successfully carried from plan to completion with exceptional naval architecture and smart interior design.

13

12

Sunrise tapped the talented Espen Øino to breathe life into the owner’s vision through his ingenious naval architecture, further nurturing the build with interiors by the insightful and innovative team at Focus Yacht Design. The economy of using the Turkish yard coupled with the high quality of the workmanship allowed an unexpected freedom to express fresh design perspectives, directing resources toward perfection.

Observation and Sun Decks At the very top, an observatory deck sets the pace for three decks below in addition to the extendable beach club deck at water’s edge. All joined by broad staircases, the plan suggests the luxury of substantial space. Forward on the sun deck, a Jacuzzi is lined by sunbathing areas and wet bar with seating. The aft sundeck, providing the stairway to the observatory deck, is a generous expanse with chaise lounges, umbrellas, and enough area for morning workouts. Separating the two outdoor areas, an indoor space offers a mo e protected perch with expansive window views and large glass sliders. Equipped with audio visual system and posh furnishings, the space is perfect for child’s play or those seeking respite from the sun, remaining connected to guests enjoying the outdoors. Bridge Deck Furthest aft on the bridge, a U-shaped sofa invites guests to linger, wrapping both pre- and post-service conversation. Just forward, al fresco dining with seating for ten is protected, yet offers a beautiful view with an unobstructed connection to the sofa lounge area and the horizon view. Forward of the deck and dining area is a spacious saloon outfitted for evening with a bevy of midnight blue sofas, perfe t for more formal entertaining. Exhibiting a mellow brilliance from the deckhead fashioned in copper, additional strips of the intriguing metal adorn furnishings and walls at strategic points throughout the yacht. Polished steel accents finish the furnishings, while fabrics in the same chroma grace accent pieces. The scale of both the furnishings and the saloon prove nothing has been sacrificed in this gracious design Main Deck Master Upon entry to the master, a private study makes light work of duty, with nearly full height windows and black lacquered furnishings adorned with metals. Bleached oak walls, horizontally stripped at varying levels with copper, give a sense of place and purpose infused with continuity. Forward of the study, the full beam master is full of light and life from oversize porthole windows. A 360° circle of recessed light hovers atop the master bed, with matching ripples carved into the plush cream carpet. A school of ceramic fish dart ac oss the expanse on the wall above the bed, each individually attached to appear free-swimming over the glassy surface.

21

20

Fully forward, a splendid arrangement of his and hers toilet areas are joined by a central bath featuring a circular soaking tub, a large, etched glass shower, and marble floo . Spacious and clean lined, the effect is anything but stark, offering int est with insets, accents, and pattern.

A pair of columns capturing the gold of the sun rise aft, announcing the formal dining area.
