Use the ‘free’ position, when BeoPlay A8 is not close to any walls that may play along, when you turn up the volume. Bang & Olufsen Marbella Puerto Banús, Main Entrance +34 952 817 250

SERRALUNGA FURNITURE SALONE 2014 The novel collection validates and renews the spirit of innovation and improvement that embodies the Serralunga brand with a special stress and expansion in illumination. A collection of furniture, but especially outdoor lighting designed to enrich and compliment modern environments, establishing a significant relationship with the surrounding environment.
Floret is a multipurpose lamp, which has been designed for table-top use or to stand alone either indoors or outdoors. The stylized shape and design symbolizes a flower bursting into bloom, graceful and fresh. Floret is suspended in time, and suggests a future where forms exist together in harmony. A lamp whose size, shape and proportion have been studied to make Floret the protagonist in any space.
Flame, the new sculptural lamp by Serralunga. Its design recalls the classic form of a flame, evoking the primordial connection between light and fire. Its soft and corporeal shape creates a play of shadows, reiterating the iconic image of a flame. Whether located in a garden, on the beach or in a chalet in the mountains, Flame defines, enriches and encloses a space around itself.
Alice, a table that synthesizes nature, a touch of humour and irony. Available in different heights, Alice furnishes a space whilst exuding the spirit of the outdoor. The design is quixotic but discreet: A natural form, it becomes abstract through material and colour, effective, beautiful and surprising.

THE CHARM OF WOOD Natural or technological?
14 DÉCOR Magazine
Casalgrande Padana and Mosaico+ propose two new lines to their already extensive portfolio with technological wood made of glazed stoneware elements by Casalgrande Padana and natural mosaic by Mosaico+
Casalgrande Padana || Tavolato - Granitoker Line Tavolato Granitoker Inspired by nature, interpreted by technology. Casalgrande Padana launches Tavolato, a new signature material with a unique upper tile surface which feels like saw-cut wood. Tavolato is a further step in the company’s research and experimentation with technology, colour and decoration that is typical of the Granitoker vitrified stoneware range. Latest-generation materials produced with state-of-the-art manufacturing processes that give them high technical performance combined with exclusive aesthetic solutions. Coloured throughout in the same shades as the surface, the Tavolato materials stand out for the three-dimensional texture of the vitrified finish, with the distinctive slightlyraised ever-changing veins, knots and flaws of wood, and an exclusive colour selection that is a perfect match for contemporary design. The range provides bespoke combinations that can cater to the requirements of any floor of facing, in any architectural domain, from residential to public and commercial buildings, as its shapes, colours, materials and patterns perfectly combine to exude a pleasant feel and a soft look, in sharp contrast with the hardness and great resistance of the tiles. Mosaico+ || Legno Hardwood mosaic comprising bevelled square chips 8 mm thick, in size 23x23 and 23x48 mm, mounted on glass fibre mesh to form a sheet of 300x300 mm in which the chips are about 2.2 mm apart. The top of the wooden mosaic chip consists of 4 mm of solid hardwood, while the bottom part comprises 4 mm of material made from regenerated polymers and wood fibre from environment-friendly sources. The two sections are glued together using dual component polyurethane adhesive resistant to water, heat and a large number of chemicals. There are 5 types of hardwood available: Oak, Bleached Oak, Doussié, Canaletto Walnut and Wengé. For more information visit: www.casalgrandepadana.com

CHIC AND FASHIONABLE LIGHTING WIREFLOW Versatile artist and designer, Arik Levy, for Vibia has unveiled a fashionable lighting collection which was showcased at London’s Clerkenwell Design Week and winner of the best line work Wallpaper Design Awards 2014 The stimulation for this project was drawn from the designer’s previous experiments with light sculptures based on wires to create an avantgarde cable lighting collection in collaboration with Vibia. The artist, technician, photographer, designer, filmmaker, Levy’s skills are multi-disciplinary and his work can be found in prestigious galleries and museums worldwide. Hailing originally from Israel, he moved and settled his studio in Paris where he carries on in parallel his activity as artist and designer. In the field of interior design, he has worked for companies such as Vitra, Zanotta, Cassina or Ligne Rose, among others. Respected for his furniture and light designs on all continents, Levy also contributed his artistry to set designs for contemporary dance and opera, as well as hi-tech clothing lines and accessories for firms in the Far East. He has been collaborating with Vibia since year 2010. His new lighting collection is a pendant light fixture that reinterprets and gives a completely new twist to the aesthetics of classical chandeliers. The light structure is formed by black electrical wire and 3W LED terminals but is enhanced and transformed into the fundamental feature that distinguishes this unique collection. This simplifying process attains impressive physical presence that Wireflow creates, without losing its weightless, ethereal consistence. For more information visit: www.ariklevy.fr/design

HANG ‘EM HIDE Leather wallcoverings by Studioart

A relentless stylistic research that suggests new patterns, formats and textures to dress in an authentic and personalized manner the most different environments: sober and quiet collections go hand in hand with more vivid ones, opening up the possibilities for a wide variety of space interpretations, from classic to modern. LUXURY The Luxury collection offers just one pattern that creatively combines leathers, shapes, and very different finishes, flat and rounded: full grain leather and suede in solid colours are naturally mixed and matched with the iridescent leathers that are metallic, smooth, embossed or embellished with decorations inspired by sumptuous brocades. Luxury becomes a rich geometric pattern that highlights the contrast between glossy and opaque: a leather mosaic that unmistakably distinguishes both the most classic and most contemporary interiors. This collection is available in the neutral tones of Cream, Ivory and Silver.
WATERNATURAL Waternatural is the leather treated with water-repellent products. Outstanding in suppleness, transparency, and feel, Waternatural is the leather of choice for enhancing the most luxurious settings. Tiny natural imperfections and small colour variations are the most typical characteristics of the Waternatural collection. A collection which, over time, is enhanced with a chiaroscuro appearance and unique hues. Available shapes: square, rectangle, triangle, trapezium, as well as in several patterns. Finishes: flat, padded, stitched flat and stitched padded. Formats sizes: from 2,5x2,5cm to 60x60cm, 15x15x15cm, 15x40x7,5cm.

OPACO LUCIDO The collection “Opaco Lucido” has been created from the original combination of shiny and matt tiles: the extremely refined leathers of City, Natural, and Pearl collections mix and match the Watersuede collection following a random layout in which the colour is the fil rouge. The shiny-opaque contrast of the final composition creates a striking and elegant mosaic easily applicable to residential and hospitality areas with both classic and contemporary taste. Available in colour: black, silver, gold, beige, and red. Available sizes: 2,5x2,5cm, 5x5cm, 10x10cm, and 15x15cm.

PEARL The Pearl collection is realized in pure aniline, the most noble of all full grain leather manufacturing processes: which gives it extreme delicacy to the touch and an instantly recognizable preciousness and beauty. Characterized by a sober and sophisticated elegance, Pearl is available in several colors and it features typical vein marks that qualify each piece of leather as unique. Worked with matt metallic dust, wax and oils, this collection of wall covering elements is also aesthetically qualified by a luminescent layer. Next to the tesserae and the tiles, many other patterns are available for Pearl, such as the new geometric texture of pattern 12. Available shapes: square, rectangle, triangle, trapezium, as well as in several patterns. Finishes: flat, padded, stitched flat and stitched padded. Formats sizes: from 2,5X2,5 cm to 60X60cm, 15x15x15cm, 15x40x7,5cm.

RODEO Inspired by the fashion world, Rodeo is the trendy face of Leatherwall. Characterized by the special patched effect due to the irregular natural alternation between full grain leather and furs of various lengths, Rodeo is available in the tonsur-ton version, with leather and fur of the same colors, in a dual color version, with strongly contrasting couplings, or again in a monochromatic, fur-only version. The craft-based manufacturing of the leather makes it possible to create more elaborate solutions such as the application of metallic finishes in the Metal Mountain version, the realization of drawings on the fur in the Treccia Testa di Moro or the reptile effect of the Liz Rotary Club, proposed in a single color variation, where black and various shades of brown are naturally coupled and mixed together. Available shapes: square, rectangle, triangle, and trapezium, as well as in several patterns. Finishes: flat and padded. Formats sizes: from 2,5X2,5 cm to 60X60cm, 15x15x15cm, 15x40x7,5cm.

WATERSUEDE Watersuede features a velvet effect and shades that make it look all in all like suede. It is, as a matter of fact, an extremely soft covering, for both the hand and the eye, characterized by a sophisticated flavor with a classic twist yet reinterpreted through unusual shapes: triangles and trapezia, proposed in both the flat finish and in the padded one, which widen the range of possibilities for the already available square and rectangular pieces of the collection. The possibility to lay out the various shapes in opposite directions makes it possible to envisage pleasing optical effect and to further underline the velvetlike look. The Watersuede collection is available in 42 colors, to provide answers to all needs and taste in home dĂŠcor. Available shapes: square, rectangle, triangle, and trapezium. Finishes: flat and padded; stitched flat and stitched padded Formats sizes: from 2,5X2,5 cm to 60X60cm, 15x15x15cm, 15x40x7,5cm.

Excellence makes its mark The global benchmark for the Home Furnishing Sector, The Salone Internazionale del Mobile Exhibition held in Milan during the month of April was a celebration to promote Italian furniture and furnishing accessories and craftsmanship on the export market. The world’s most famous home furniture, lighting and accessories fair is an international platform for top and emerging design talent to present their latest work to buyers, commissioners, press, and collectors from around the globe. More than 5,000 glossy exhibitors from Hermès to Bentley Home Furniture, Roberto Giovannini to Tom Dixon took over the city’s ornate palazzos and post-industrial warehouse spaces to showcase their collections. Since its first appearance in 1961, the fair has continued to grow at an alarming rate, ensuring that quality Italian furniture is known to all four corners of the earth. This month’s fair was no different with a staggering attendance of 311,781, however this year there was added pressure as it was considered to be under the spotlight with Italians seeing it as a dress rehearsal for Expo 2015, to be held in Milan from May next year. “The strength of the Salone is the Italian manufacturing and retail network behind it,” says Claudio Luti, president of the fair’s organiser, Cosmit. “This cultural inheritance is unique, making us the envy of the world and has endured despite a deep economy crisis at home.” That endurance is no small achievement. According to Cosmit, sales by furniture groups within Italy have fallen 40 per cent since 2008. By contrast, exports rose 2.5 per cent in 2013 to €10.8bn. Here is a rundown of what visitors witnessed from the iSalone this year and the countless satellite events that took place.
The next edition will be held on 14th - 19th April 2015 For more information: www.cosmit.it

It is a curious capability of the truly interested eye, that this characteristic continues to be recognised and appreciated today, when hand craftsmanship is so rarely encountered.

Along with ethnic prints, pineapples, brass, floral and corduroy, amongst other things, blue is continuing to be a big interior trend for 2014. From Azure to Air force, Cornflower to Cobalt, Sapphire to Sky, Denim to ‘Dazzling*’, and Powder to ‘Placid*’, blue is everywhere at the moment. There has even been a hint of a whisper that “navy blue is the new grey is the new black.” Not wanting to miss a trend here at The Headboard Workshop, we have been quick to make sure that we have a sea of blue-hued fabrics available for our design-savvy customers to get their hands on. Whether you like the classic or the contemporary, the subdued or the shouting, we have wools, cottons, fauxleathers, velvets, felts and linen weaves in various shades of blue to suit all tastes.
THE HEADBOARD WORKSHOP IS DEFINITELY FEELING BLUE
Nowadays, blue is widely considered to be the most popular colour for both men and women and over the centuries, has grown to become one of the most favoured colours by innumerable figures of authority and significance. The Virgin Mary is usually depicted in paintings and noted works of art wearing pale blue. Louis IX of France is renowned for making the sky-coloured shade the colour of regality. The Impressionist painters were particularly fond of blue, and due to the increased availability of indigo dye in the 18th century, blue became a military uniform staple. And of course, we cannot fail to mention those ‘boys in blue’. According to Euan, the Resident Ruler of Rest at The Headboard Workshop, “whether you consider blue to be calming, authoritative, serious or regal, or you just simply like it, it is a pretty safe bet that it will be a staple colour in bedroom interiors well beyond the end of 2014.” DÉCOR Magazine

Roberto Cavalli products, which exude the distinctive style of this brand, are ruling the decorative empire of homes, yachts, boutiques and clubs…
A brand which had always combined fashion and design, with glamour and elegance is presenting us with their new Roberto Cavalli home collection, inspired by prints and designs of their most valuable collections: from animal prints to damask, in colors and textures which intervene. The making, details, choice of materials and fabrics, as well as their combining were the focus while creating these objects. “When I’m designing a dress, I wish for it to highlight the femininity of one woman in every moment, and I think like that when I’m designing home objects as well. First of all, I’m trying to identify the character of people for whom I’m designing, thinking of new ways to expand that with new colors, that warmth and joy of life, which a man gives to himself before all. My Home Collection is born from the personal desire to share optimism of my fashion with the ones who love me – produced from my creating, philosophy and style, which is also evident in decorating objects. n Create balance on mantelpieces and other surfaces by juxtaposing one over scaled object with two or three miniature ones
n Beware colour as classic Kelly is a yin-yang scheme of dark and pale, using a palette of neutral colours and contrasting textures
n Mix old and new antique and vintage, against the clean lines of stark contemporary pieces
n Introduce texture as without it, a neutral scheme will look flat and dead
n Start with linen as your first choice of fabric: without it, a scheme will never feel quite right
n Unblock energy within the home using crystals, colour, candles, music, and chainmail curtains made of small metal balls
n Create symmetry if a fireplace is off-centre in a room make sure you line the sofa up with it.

Neruno Table Clock If there is one item that the world traveller will always consider essential, it is the travel clock. While mobile phones have commandeered many time-keeping roles as part of their functionality, nothing adds a personal touch to a hotel room like one’s own alarm clock. And if justification for a dedicated clock is needed, all one has to do is recall the occasions when the wake-up call from the front desk never arrived. Following the form of Montegrappa’s stylish NeroUno wristwatches are two alarm clocks, one in the size of table clock and 90mmm across, the other half its diameter at 45mm across. While both will fit comfortably into one’s hand luggage, the larger is best suited to domestic use or a cruise, the smaller being specifically devised for travel. Either timepiece will add an elegant touch to any nightstand – permanent or in transit.
Further information: www.montegrappa.com

Both clocks are powered by Swiss-made quartz movements, and both offer an easy-to-set alarm function with an arrow on a rotating inner dial indicating the hour set for wake-up. Located at the 12, o’clock position is a knurled octagonal steel crown for setting the time and the alarm. Hours and minutes are indicated by hands in chrome for the black dial version, or black PVD for the white dial version, both with luminescent material to provide visibility in the dark.
Both clocks consist of cases machined from stainless steel, with finishes including polished and brushed surfaces along the central body. Each is constructed of four components, the robust cases featuring bevelled bezels surrounding either a matte white or matte black dial formed of two levels. These are protected by mineral glass, their central sections finished in a guilloché pattern, while the hours are marked with applied chrome indexes. At the 12 o’clock position is the signature detail shared with
NeroUno wristwatches: a black faceted gemstone. For both clocks, the polished steel case backs are held securely by four screws. Recessed into the case-backs are swing-out supports that allow the clocks to stand at a comfortable angle. The larger edition will make a perfect accompaniment to a well-appointed desk, at home or in the office. The smaller model, with travel in mind, will be supplied with a leather pouch to protect it while “on the road.”

SPOUTING FORTH Fun, fearless and fabulous, the Zazzeri Pop Faucet incorporates a colour saturated silicone material within its spout that takes the seriousness out of tooth brushing or hand washing The Zazzeri Pop Faucet is aptly named considering that it boasts a pop of colour that would brighten up any washroom. Of course, there is a more subdued alternative, but the use of a silicon material adds an unorthodox bit of texture that makes it stand out all the same. Intriguingly, the Zazzeri Pop Faucet lives up to its modern aesthetics in more than a superficial way. It is touted as a ‘sensitive design,’ which allows it to keep tabs on consumption of water. By doing so, the Zazzeri Pop Faucet ensures that people aren’t using their taps irresponsibly. Designed by Fabrizio Batoni, the Zazzeri Pop Faucet will appeal to people who have an eye for detail as well as a head for the environment. It is a win-win creation.
Zazzeri, founded in 1929 in Florence, has become one of the best companies of the bathroom-furnishing sector. Experience, high professionalism, use of the best raw materials, attention to details, but also unquestionable talent in being able to perceive, and often influence, the trends of the market. This has made Zazzeri a unique reality that combines design and tradition. Creating collections that have left their mark in Zazzeri’s history and the entire bathroom-furnishing sector with different lines hosted in international design exhibitions.

The Architectura system concept from Villeroy & Boch caters particularly for the special requirements of installers, planners and international architects. A modular principle is used to structure the products. Three washbasin shapes are available and each washbasin can be fitted in three ways: surface-mounted, semi-recessed and undercounter. There are matching WCs and urinals. Architectura offers innovative solutions combined with particularly easy installation and maintenance. In order to provide more bathroom design options with a single collection, Villeroy & Boch is now extending the Architectura portfolio with a new product family: Architectura MetalRim – ultra-slim, edgeless shower floors made of acryl reinforced with galvanised steel at the parameter. Extreme stability is thus guaranteed. Further information: www.villeroy-boch.com www.facebook.comVilleroyandBoch www.twitter.com/VilleroyandBoch

High-quality material and powerful technology The new Architectura MetalRim shower floors are formed from 4 mm solid-coloured sanitary acrylic. This high-quality material is tested in accordance with the EN 249 standard: it is extremely robust and completely colourfast. The surface is UV-resistant and can be easily repaired even after installation. The shower floors are thus remarkably durable. Villeroy & Boch provides a tenyear guarantee on these premium material properties. Architectura MetalRim shower floors are also particularly easy-care. They can be kept perfectly clean using water, a soft cloth, and – as necessary – a normal cleaning agent. The valve cover can be easily removed for cleaning purposes. The special technology of Architectura MetalRim with its steel-reinforced parameter provides extreme stability enabling the shower floor to withstand a 1000 kg load. Additional safety is provided by the optional anti-slip coating with Class C Vilbogrip.
Successful design and model diversity The design is characterised by its minimalist ultra-slim, edgeless look and integrated valve cover that lies flush with the surface of the shower floor. The valve cover
in White is supplied with the unit; it is also optionally available in matt Chrome and chrome plated. The valve is constructed to be very efficient with a capacity of 51 litres of water per minute. There is a choice of 31 models, each available with edge heights of 15 mm and 48 mm and in two finishes, making a total of 124 alternatives. This allows a great degree of design freedom and provides options for every shower area.
Easy and safe installation The new shower floors are easy to carry and can be installed on the screed to lie flush with the tiles or directly onto the tiles themselves. The 15 mm version creates an accessible shower with both installation options; when installed on the screed the 48 mm version does likewise. With tiled floors, the 15 mm option allows the shower floor to be fitted flush with the edge of the tiles. Installation on a base is also possible, which is an ideal solution for renovations. With Architectura MetalRim Villeroy & Boch has created a shower floor family that is suitable for all projects and that can be easily and safely installed. The three fitting options require only simple standard installation procedures. Villeroy & Boch also provides high-quality shower partitions, thus enabling perfect complete shower designs.

In 2014 the Bathroom and Wellness Division at Villeroy & Boch can again celebrate winning an internationally renowned design prize. The new shower floor Architectura MetalRim has won the red dot design award: product design 2014. Villeroy & Boch thus continues an unbroken record of success, with a Bathroom and Wellness product having won the coveted red dot every year since 2010. In 2010 it was the bathtub La Belle, in 2011 the washbasins and the bathtub of the collection My Nature, in 2012 the Loop & Friends bathtubs with the bathtub shelf, and in 2013 the WC with SlimSeat from the collection Joyce.
Red Dot Design Award
Successful design and fascinating model diversity The new Architectura MetalRim shower floors are characterised by their ultra-slim, edgeless design, which fits harmoniously into every bathroom. The shower floors are manufactured from high-quality acryl with an attractive high-gloss surface. A particular design highlight is the integrated valve cover that lies flush with the surface of the shower floor. The valve cover in white, chrome plated or matt chrome enhances the minimalistic design language of the shower floor family. This new shower floor generation utilises the MetalRim technology developed by Villeroy & Boch for the first time. A galvanised steel reinforcement is integrated around the rim of the shower floor, thus guaranteeing the greatest material stability and allowing unrestricted freedom of design. The fascinating diversity of models and the minimalist style provide individual design and installation options for every interior, including barrierfree access. All 31 Architectura MetalRim models are available in two edge heights (15 mm and 48 mm) and can be easily fitted in three different installation options. Additional safety is provided by the optional anti-slip coating with Class C Vilbogrip. Johan de Groot was responsible for the design of Architectura MetalRim. The product designer from the Netherlands has worked for Villeroy & Boch’s Wellness Division for many years and was also responsible for designing the Squaro models.

DESIGN PROFILE Some luxury brands have the ability of surprising us at every step they take. BOCA DO LOBO - literally “the wolf ’s den” is one of the world’s premier design houses. And the name says it all: excitement, fascination and intrigue, all packaged up with outstanding couture furniture.
BOCA DO LOBO furniture is an exclusive emotional experience, a sense of belonging and a state of mind.
“I find design to be absolutely amazing. I’m fascinated by the past but it’s important to have a strong vision of the future” Marco Costa
The engine that keeps this brand moving is composed of a team of talented young designers and skilful master artisans headed by designer extraordinaire Marco Costa. At 27, the designer is considered one of the best of his generation, with several awarded pieces of furniture are carrying his signature and collecting fans in all the major international design events.

For Marco Costa, the past is a living, breathing entity and he draws on it in every aspect of his work. At the same time, a strong vision of the future guides his every move.
“I find design to be absolutely amazing” says Marco. “In my work, I’m fascinated by the past but it’s important to have a strong vision of the future. My curiosity as a child has contributed enormously to the designer I am today. It was from the early years that I started to show my interest in craftsmanship works. I was a nightmare as home, drawing on the walls of my parents and destroying my sister’s dolls in order to do other “artistic” constructions. The thing I liked the most was to be close to my father, who was a metallurgic artisan. I love working with him, and I believe that’s how the passion for arts begun”.
However, it’s not just an innate talent that makes Marco Costas one of the best designers of his generation. “I feed my passion daily” he says, “I study in an unceasing way to discover new materials and to revitalise the already known – that’s the way I find more creative ideas to designs. From this rare combination, I create distinct pieces, which are transformed into iconic symbols, like Pixel Cabinet, one of my favourite pieces, indeed, that I believe will be an eternal legacy for BOCA DO LOBO stadium”
“Above all, this is what I love the most about being a designer. I adore creating exclusive furniture design that is a deep emotional experience” Marco Costa
Emotional Design Marco’s distinctive signature is actually an unusual mixture of different styles which represents a unique philosophy – Emotional Design. “Above all, this is what I love the most about being a designer. I adore creating exclusive furniture design that is a deep emotional experience. Here at BOCA DO LOBO the concept and the mixture between past arts and contemporary techniques is perfect for me to explore and be excited to work for and explore more about this emotional design. I like to design pieces that are provocative and at the same time can make people have an emotional connection with an object, making them feel comfortable and desire that object”. The key to the brand’s design vision is an understanding and interpretation of the past through technology and contemporary practice. Although the company is proud to use traditional methods, they often complement those skills with the highly contemporary techniques required to complete such lavish creations. The new collection of luxury safes, PRIVATE, is a prime example of this guideline BOCA DO LOBO loves by every day. The brand takes the word handcrafted literally, adding the comforts of modern techniques to the uniqueness accomplished through traditional arts. DÉCOR Magazine

A Private Secret
Baron Baron, the steam punk safe of the collection, was designed in a Victorian futuristic style inspired by literature classics such as Jules Verne’s 2000 Leagues Under the Sea. The luxury home safe is full of brass and stainless steel gears, all manually applied by BOCA DO LOBO’s master artisans. Inside, watch winders keep precious watches safe and exhibition stages and drawers upholstered with black velvet carefully trimmed, sewn and fitted by hand guard rare gems.
Boheme Bohème embodies the spirit of true adventure who chose to live an unconventional lifestyle and ain to achieve what is accessible only to a few people. Just like the artisans of the Belle Époque. This rare and exceptional jewellery safe, distinguishes itself for the haute craftsmanship and hyperrefinement in its essence, following a new hyper luxury trend. Again, traditional techniques add to its uniqueness through manually hammered brass and hand fitted luscious velvet.
For Marco Costa “every single piece of our collection is of extreme importance to me. Each piece was created with passion and to pass from generation to generation while storing the most treasured of family objects. Each piece is intended to have a tremendous presence in any setting I feel that they speak the very intense language of fine design, while creating the PRIVATE COLLECTION, I really felt free to express myself. Having this ability is a dream come true for any designer – to do what we want, without limits”.
A hyper-luxurious Hotel Suite This month, Marco Costa and his team will aly the foundation of another milestone on BOCA DO LOBO’s history – an exclusive BOCA DO LOBO hotels suites an Hotel Infante de Sagres, a Portuguese Boutique Hotel which is in the ultra-exclusive list of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World. The hotel is frequently elected by important international personalities such as the icon of the beat generation, Bob Dylan. As the designer explains “the aim was to create a space where guests can have a real emotional design experience. BOA DO LOBO Suites decorated with timeless pieces, each one born from a specific story and brought to life through traditional manufacturing techniques and the passion of skilful master artisans. All these

techniques and all this passion can be felt inside. It is a real luxury experience”. Design lovers, in specific, will be amazed by the mix of traditional techniques and creative modern design, classic and innovative finishing’s and, above all, by the living proof of how talented young designers and skilful master artisans can unite their efforts in order to create unique pieces of furniture art! In the end, all that counts is that every person that comes into contact with BOA DO LOBO’s pieces of furniture art, whether they’re another designer, a carver working on a product or the end consumer, must “feel the passion and emotion” that goes into Marco Costa’s work.

A beautiful palm gets incorporated into the design
For more than one homeowner in Marbella, Cape Reed was able to incorporate a palm tree into the structure. This particular tree added a special ambience to the property and removing it, or relocating it, would have affected the aesthetics and feeling. Thanks to high quality materials, years of design expertise, and highly qualified craftsmen, Cape Reed was able to construct a roof around the tree’s trunk and include this beautiful palm into an extraordinary chiringuito. Another resident on the Costa del Sol had the perfect example of how a Cape Reed structure can enhance a lush, vibrant garden and turn it into a tropical paradise. In this case, Cape Reed elevated the structure and decking on timber poles to provide ample space for the garden’s plants to grow. Surrounded by ferns, bushes and trees, and with a spectacular view of the Mediterranean Sea, this gazebo is the ideal place to escape during the summer days and nights.

The names of the newly launched products are Moonbeam and Overlap by A-cero, You&Me and Twist&Shout by Karim Rashid, Azulejo, Zebra and Las Flores de Klee by Javier Mariscal, Marquis by Jmferrero, Faz, Vela, Lines XL and Linea XS by Ramon Esteve, F3 by Fabio Novembre, Ufo by Ora Ito, Koi and Piano Piano by Teresa Sapey, Agatha by Agatha Ruiz de la Prada as well as Lisa from Studio Vondom. Many of the rug collections – including Faz and Vela by Ramon Esteve, F3 by Fabio Novembre, Ufo by Ora Ito and Agatha by Agatha Ruiz de la Prada – are the ideal companion to the company’s products.

Sabinas is the new collection of Javier Mariscal for VONDOM. It’s inspired in a fluid organic shape, running away to the straight lines and the geometry. Its outline looks like dunes, a female curves. This collection goes beyond of playing a role, but suggests a special friendship and tenderness relationship with the user. As all collections of the author remits a very mariscaliano formal code.
®
Its comfort as well as its material character permit their use in both indoor and outdoor spaces.
