Forget what the calendar says. In Florida, spring doesn’t begin on March 19 — it begins in late February when 15 Major League Baseball teams report to the Sunshine State for Florida Grapefruit League spring training. An event that attracted 1,445,362 baseball enthusiasts in 2019, spring training has been synonymous with Florida since 1946, when commissioner Kenesaw Landis erased the Potomac Line and allowed teams to resume the practice of traveling to the state to prepare for the upcoming season in a warm climate. For the preceding three years, teams that had to travel south of the Potomac and Ohio Rivers or west of the Mississippi River for spring training were prohibited from doing so in order to free up some space on railroad lines carrying troops
and supplies for World War II. To date, all but six of today’s Major League Baseball teams have trained in Florida, with 36 sites throughout the state having hosted spring training games. That number includes CoolToday Park, a brand-new facility in South Sarasota County where the Atlanta Braves will play their first complete spring training season after playing at Champion Stadium at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Kissimmee for the past 22 years. Able to accommodate 8,000 fans, the $125 million North Port complex hosted the Braves’ final spring training game of the 2019 season last March and will welcome the team back for their first home game of the 2020 season on Feb. 22 when they face the Baltimore Orioles. Their final home game will be against the Boston Red Sox on March 23. Toronto Blue Jays fans will feel like they got a new stadium to enjoy games in, too, as the team’s spring training home since 1977 — Dunedin Stadium — recently completed a $102 million renovation. Fans can check out all of the improvements at the newly renamed TD Ballpark, which included increasing its capacity from 5,500 to 8,500 people, when the Blue Jays play their first home game on Feb. 24 against the Atlanta Braves. The team’s final home game is set for March 21 against the Detroit Tigers.

Field. The Yankees’ spring training schedule begins on Feb. 22 with a home game against the Toronto Blue Jays and ends on March 22 with a home game against the Detroit Tigers. Even though George M. Steinbrenner Field is one of Florida Grapefruit League’s larger ballparks with a seating capacity of 11,076, given the Yankees’ popularity, tickets go fast, so be sure to buy them as soon as possible.
The Atlanta Braves at their new spring training facility, CoolToday Park
The Yankees’ longtime rival, the Boston Red Sox, call Florida their spring training home as well, playing at Fort Myers’ 11,000-seat JetBlue Park. The team’s first spring training home game is scheduled against the Tampa Bay Rays on Feb. 22, and their schedule concludes on March 24 with a home game against the Atlanta Braves. Fort Myers also happens to be the spring training home of the Minnesota Twins, who’ve played at CenturyLink Sports Complex’s 9,300seat Hammond Stadium since 1991. The Twins’ first spring training home game is scheduled for Feb. 23 against the Toronto Blue Jays, with their final home game of the season scheduled for March 21 against the New York Yankees. Baseball fans can catch the Philadelphia Phillies playing in Florida, too, at their spring training facility, Clearwater’s 8,272-seat Spectrum Field. Home spring training games for the Phillies begin on Feb. 23 against the Pittsburgh Pirates and end on March 23 against the Tampa Bay Rays. The Tampa Bay Rays play their spring training home games at Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte, which can accommodate 7,000 fans. Their first home game is scheduled for Feb. 23 against the New York Yankees, with their final home game of the season scheduled for March 20 against the 2019 World Series Champions, the Washington Nationals.
Watch the Baltimore Orioles play at Ed Smith Stadium
Allegiant passengers can also head to Sarasota to see the Baltimore Orioles play at the 7,500seat Ed Smith Stadium. The Orioles’ first spring training home game is scheduled for Feb. 23 against the Boston Red Sox, and their final home game is on March 23 against the New York Mets. Other Florida Grapefruit League ballparks include Lakeland’s Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium, home to the Detroit Tigers; Jupiter’s Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium, home to the Miami Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals; Port St. Lucie’s First Data Field, home to the New York Mets; Bradenton’s LECOM Park, home to the Pittsburgh Pirates; and West Palm Beach’s FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches, home to the Houston Astros and the Washington Nationals, giving baseball fans plenty of chances to catch a game during their Allegiant getaway! floridagrapefruitleague.com baseball ▪ 9

Spring has come to Florida, and few cities are as prepared for it as Dunedin. Lined with breweries and baked in sunshine, Dunedin’s quaint exterior hides a festive spirit, where residents and visitors alike revel on the beautiful beaches, sip tasty craft brews and enjoy a bit of America’s favorite pastime. The Toronto Blue Jays are the spring residents at Dunedin’s TD Ballpark, which is debuting renovations just in time for the season. Changes include increased capacity from 5,000 to 8,000, as well as newly updated bathrooms and suites. A BBQ tent, an airconditioned bar and an outdoor bar will add more options for concessions than ever before, which will be needed to accommodate the extra fans packing in to watch games on one of six new and renovated fields. When the games are over, fans can keep themselves entertained with a trip to one of nine breweries and distilleries that occupy the quaint city. All within a mile of each other, the breweries make up a large part of the night life in Dunedin,

Cueni Brewing is another award winning Dunedin treasure. The Monkey Skull Porter, the Drunken 'MONK'E Belgian Quad and the Belgian 3 Way (a Belgian Tripel) are a few of their brews that have all placed in the Best Florida Beer Competition. Like many Dunedin businesses, Caledonia Brewing is one establishment that proudly celebrates the city’s Scottish connection. Its delicious Scotch ale, Rat Arsed is just one of the many touches that connects Dunedin to its sister city, Sterling, Scotland. Caledonia is also one of many businesses that exist inside historic Dunedin buildings. Woodwright Brewing Company was built inside the workshop where the first Optimist Pram Boat was built in 1947. Painter family, the shop was expanded into Dunedin Woodwright, where they sold fine woodworking pieces to fund their expansion into a full fledged brewery. When daughter-in-law Eunice Painter took her passion for German beers to the next level, both family and community came together to create the new Dunedin hotspot. Even other businesses and breweries helped, like local favorite 7venth Sun Brewery, proving that the competition in the Dunedin craft beer scene is nothing if not friendly. Downtown Dunedin is a hot spot for fun, with over 50 festivals a year. Returning favorites like the Mardi Gras Parade and Festival will be joined this year by the first ever North Pinellas Pride in the Ballpark. The city will be partnering with the Blue Jays and the Dunedin Merchant community to celebrate and raise awareness for the LBGTQ community and their allies with a weekend of activities starting Friday, April 24.

Even if there's not a festival in town, Downtown Dunedin is still full of excitement. There are over 150 businesses downtown, and all of them are locally owned, giving visitors a true sense of the local community. A short drive up Dunedin Causeway, Honeymoon Island State Park is a romantic getaway offering pristine white sand beaches. Chairs are available to rent for seaside lounging, or there's a three-mile trail that cuts through one of the last remaining virgin slash pine forests that is perfect for a more active excursion. Aside from being a great spot for swimming, fishing and shelling, Honeymoon Island is great for bird watching. Visitors can spot Osprey, Eagles and even Great Horned Owls.
Dunedin is beautiful all year round
Caladesi Island Ferry
Honeymoon Island also serves as the port for the Caladesi Ferry, which takes guests to Caladesi Island State Park. The park has miles of unspoilt sandy beaches and nature trails, and there’s even a playground for kids. Dunedin Golf Club provides more relaxing outdoor fun with an 18 hole course that used to serve as the home of the PGA. Of course, there’s also a plethora of indoor activities. The Dunedin Fine Arts Center and the David L. Mason Children's Art Museum provide art exhibits and hands-on fun, including classes and workshops, and Dunedin Lanes lights up on the weekends for Cosmic Bowling. It seems there’s no shortage of fun to be had at Dunedin in the spring. dunedinfl.com r ec r e at i o n ▪ 1 3

Far from a typical neighborhood park, the popular Tierra Verde destination covers five islands and 1,136 acres on the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay. Great for families, anglers and adventure seekers, the park boasts so many activities for visitors to enjoy that it’s not uncommon for guests to plan an extended stay and book a campsite or hotel nearby. Families love Fort De Soto Park’s North Beach, which is home to a fun pirate ship playground as well as a wide tidal pool for kids to splash in. It’s also a great place to look for seashells, with shells of every color and humongous white sand dollars scattered out along the white sand.

Located southwest of Fort De Soto Park, the 440acre island is a designated National Wildlife Refuge, making it a great place to see dolphins, sea turtles and nesting seabirds. Of course, wildlife viewing opportunities are plentiful on Fort De Soto Park’s nature trails, too. The park is even an important stopover during spring migration from March through mid-May, when thousands of birds migrate north across the Gulf of Mexico. Fort De Soto Park is also famous for its two fishing piers. Anglers can catch everything from sheepshead to sharks on the longer Gulf Pier, while the shorter Bay Pier tends to attract inshore species like trout, redfish and snook. While the activities guests participate in will vary depending on their interests, no trip to Fort De Soto Park is complete without visiting the historic fort and Fort De Soto Batteries that give the park its name. There, guests can not only enter old firing galleys and see old mortar battery cannons, but also get a view of the world’s longest cable-stayed concrete bridge: the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. A museum is housed in a reconstruction of the fort’s old postal building, too, that tells the story of the fort through historic photographs, military documents and Spanish-American War artifacts. With so much to experience, it’s easy to see why Fort De Soto Park is St. Pete/Clearwater’s ultimate playground! visitstpeteclearwater. com/article/fort-de-soto-park R ec r e at i o n ▪ 2 3

Sampling a city’s signature cuisine has become an important part of many people’s vacation itineraries. However, there are only so many hours in a day to check out a city’s restaurant scene — and only so much a person can eat throughout the day. Luckily, Allegiant passengers visiting the Tampa Bay area can get a taste of what its culinary scene has to offer thanks to Tampa Bay Food Tours. The idea of Lead Taste Ambassador Kimberly McAvoy, Tampa Bay Food Tours began in 2017 after McAvoy saw the need for a high-quality walking food tour in the area. “Walking food tours are a unique and fun way to explore and learn more about the neighborhood or town you are visiting while tasting the local cuisine,” McAvoy told Sunseeker. “They have become a vital component of the tourism experience and can be found in almost any major city or town around the world. I take a food tour in any area I visit.”

showcases various locations in a city — Tampa, Dunedin or St. Pete — and has its own unique personality. Tours are limited to just 12 people, and guests will visit up to five tasting locations on each tour. While the places guests visit may vary, McAvoy handpicked each location herself to showcase the best local flavors in each destination. Diners may get to savor a Hogfish Slider from Hog Island Fish Camp on the Dunedin Food Tour, the Lobster Mac & Cheese at River’s Edge on the Tampa Riverwalk Dine & Wine Tour or champagne and caviar at Flute & Dram on the St. Pete Beach Drive Dine & Wine Tour. For guests with dietary restrictions, menu substitutions can easily be made with advance notice. Additional walking tours are available highlighting the flavors of downtown Tampa, downtown St. Pete and Dunedin’s craft beer scene. Prices average around $75 per person, which includes all food and beverage samplings. Private tours for groups of 10 or more people are also available. Part of the fun of Tampa Bay Food Tours, however, is meeting fellow “taste buds.” tampabayfoodtours.com

With high temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s, Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach beckons guests to visit one of its gorgeous beaches this February and March. Offering a wide variety of activities, from adventurous to romantic, the area’s beaches are ideal for some fun in the sun. DON PEDRO ISLAND STATE PARK Located 6 miles south of Englewood in Cape Haze, Don Pedro Island State Park has its own island that’s accessible only by boat. Guests can launch their own kayak from the land base or rent one from Hooked on SUP (hookedonsup. com) and head out to the island, which is a popular picnic spot for families thanks to its large pavilion and grills. The beach is rarely crowded, making it a great place to go snorkeling, shelling or swimming. Several vulnerable species are often spotted on or near the island, as well, including gopher tortoises and West Indian manatees. floridastateparks.org/parks-andtrails/don-pedro-island-state-park
Kayaking is a popular activity with Palm Island Resort guests
GASPARILLA ISLAND STATE PARK The perfect place for a romantic stroll in the sand, Gasparilla Island State Park lies on the southern end of Gasparilla Island and has a 1-mile stretch of Gulf-front beach. Not surprisingly, the beach is a popular place for weddings. Guests also love to visit the park’s wood-frame lighthouse, which houses a museum and gift shop. Dolphin and manatee sightings are common out in the water, and shelling is popular in February and March. floridastateparks.org/parks-and-trails/ gasparilla-island-state-park PALM ISLAND RESORT This private island getaway, accessible only by car ferry, is located on a barrier island just off the coast of Cape Haze. Boasting 2 miles of pristine beach on the Gulf of Mexico, Palm Island Resort is a tranquil destination (no motorized vehicles are allowed) that offers an array of activities exclusively for resort guests to enjoy, including stand-up paddleboard rentals, guided kayak tours and fishing charters. Several species of wildlife can often be seen as well, including dolphins and ospreys. palmisland.com STUMP PASS BEACH STATE PARK A favorite with families, this Englewood park on the south end of Manasota Key is home to a 1-mile stretch of white sand beach. Beachgoers can go fishing, swimming or rent a kayak from Hooked on SUP and paddle to one of the park’s two small islands in Lemon Bay. The southern end of the beach also has nesting habitats for Wilson’s plovers and least terns, making it a popular spot with birdwatchers. Be sure to bring your camera, if not for the wildlife sightings, then for the picture-perfect sunsets. floridastateparks.org/parks-and-trails/stumppass-beach-state-park

When visiting Southwest Florida’s Gulf Coast, guests might not expect to find an authentic Irish public house. However, one of the area’s most popular establishments happens to be just that. A staple of downtown Punta Gorda since 1997, Celtic Ray Public House was the idea of Dublin native Kevin Doyle. After moving to the area, Doyle discovered there wasn’t any place close by that offered a social atmosphere like a traditional Irish pub, so he opened Celtic Ray in hopes of creating a place for people to go to enjoy “music, conversation and laughter.”
Photos courtesy of Celtic Ray Public House
“When people enter the pub, we want to create the feeling that they’ve left Florida and entered Ireland,” Doyle told Sunseeker. “We don’t have any TVs, and there’s no tableside service, which sort of forces people to say hello and ask, ‘How does this work?’” Doyle isn’t ashamed of the fact that he “stole everything from Ireland” when creating the pub, right down to recreating the same Fish & Chips recipe he grew up with as a kid. Doyle works hard to not only offer guests a traditional Irish pub experience, but also an experience that can’t be found anywhere else in Punta Gorda. He takes pride in the fact that the bands that perform at the pub can’t be seen performing at other local venues, while his son Max, who helps run the pub, proudly pointed out that Celtic Ray generously pours 20-ounce pints of its craft and imported draft beers instead of the typical 12 to 16 ounces. Doyle’s passion to create a proper public house has paid off. Max noted that Celtic Ray isn’t his
or his dad’s pub, but the town’s pub, as proven by the fact that many patrons have donated items to display there over the years from Ireland. The pub has also grown from 42 seats to more than 300 thanks to the recent addition of a beer garden and rooftop deck. Not surprisingly, St. Patrick’s Day is the pub’s busiest day of the year. Its annual street party, which features live entertainment, food trucks and several satellite bars, is one of Southwest Florida’s biggest St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. Thousands of people attend, so Doyle has 55 people working the event so guests don’t have to wait too long for their food or drinks. It’s that commitment to hospitality that’s made Celtic Ray a local hangout — just as Doyle intended. celticray.net

FOOD TRUCK FIESTA
S A N FO R D ’ S M O N T H LY FO O D T R U C K E V E N T S By Heather Turk
While there’s no wrong time to visit Sanford, for foodies hoping to get a true taste of the area, there’s no better time to visit the Central Florida destination than during one of its monthly food truck events. Since 2012, the Sanford Food Truck Fiesta has taken place on the third Saturday of each month between The West End Trading Co. and Celery City Craft in Historic Downtown Sanford. What once began as an event with 12 food trucks has grown into Central Florida’s premier food truck event, attracting more than 20 of the Orlando area’s top food trucks and 4,000 to 5,000 people hungry for some mouthwatering cuisine. “There are food truck events everywhere, but I had the idea to make an event that was different than all the ones I have seen,” said Paul Williams, founder of the event. “We’ve added elements of entertainment, places to congregate, shopping and even kids’ entertainment.”
The next two Sanford Food Truck Fiestas will take place on Feb. 15 and March 21, with the February event happening during Historic Downtown Sanford’s annual Mardi Gras Street 46 ▪ dining
Sanford’s monthly food truck events are sponsored by Celery City Craft, The West End Trading Co. and Historic Downtown Sanford. The events are pet friendly, with designated areas for dogs thanks to the annual Pints n’ Paws Craft Beer Festival — a pet-friendly, charitable beer festival returning on March 21! historicdowntownsanford.com

Taste buds never leave a Sanford food truck event disappointed

Not only can guests relish almost every type of cuisine imaginable, from Korean-American fusion food at Korean BBQ Taco Box to elevated Cuban street fare at A Lo Cubano Kitchen, but they can also enjoy craft beers, live music and purchase wares made by local artisans and vendors. There are plenty of tables and chairs, too, so visitors can actually sit and savor their delicious dishes instead of struggling to enjoy them while they walk. Once guests’ taste buds are satisfied, visitors can work off some of the extra calories they consumed by wandering around Historic Downtown Sanford and discovering what the charming, brick-lined streets have to offer.
Party. Guests can sashay down Sanford Avenue and try to catch some beads while enjoying live brass bands and flavorful fare. Then in April, the Sanford Battle of the Food Trucks returns, featuring more than 40 food trucks. The quarterly event attracts approximately 10,000 foodies throughout the day!

Pristine white sand, the inviting warmth of Florida’s clear gulf water and, of course, plenty of sunshine: all the obvious reasons to pay a visit to Clearwater Beach. But, the charming barrier island is more than a destination to enjoy the sun and the sand. It’s also the perfect getaway for the entire family. In fact, there are two Holiday Inn resorts with plenty of amenities to keep everyone entertained for days. Guests can take a dip in the pool or nearby beaches, play 18 holes of mini golf, hit the arcade or spend the day at Splash Harbour Water Park.
The Holiday Inn & Suites Harbourside
The pool and tiki bar at the Holiday Inn & Suites Clearwater Beach
Conveniently located near both resorts, Splash Harbour is suited for the whole family, featuring waterfalls, slides and other interactive water features. Experience Smugglers Run and Pirates Plunge, a tube slide and body slide respectively, which are 42-feet high and over 400-feet long. Or, relax the day away along it Great White Lazy River. Both resorts offer guests discount ticket packages to Slash Harbour. And, to further help stretch your vacation budget, neither resort charges resort fees. Holiday Inn & Suites Harbourside Just steps away from the white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, the waterfront resort located on Indian Rocks Beach offers apartment-style rooms, complete with kitchens and other modern conveniences. Onsite, you’ll find a restaurant and bar, 18-hole miniature golf course, arcade room, outdoor pool, Jacuzzi and a 50-slip marina with boat rentals and fishing charters. You will also find a newly renovated fitness center with cardio equipment and free weights and a nearby jogging trail with separate bike lanes. Holiday Inn & Suites Clearwater Beach Its premier waterfront location offers a secluded resort-like environment and puts you just steps from Clearwater Beach and its miles of sugar-sand beaches. The spacious rooms provide stunning views of Clearwater Beach and the clear blue waters of Florida’s Gulf Coast — most with private balconies. Other hotel amenities include a 24/7 fitness center, heated outdoor pool and patio, business center and fully-appointed meeting rooms. Onsite, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at Jimmy’s Fish House, with choices of fresh seafood and American classics. Sunseeker ▪ 53

WINGS FOR AUTISM Ta k e s F l i g h t By Andrew Porrello
Every single day, thousands of people pass through the gates of an airport, go through security, and depart on their way to visit friends, family and go on vacation. It’s a process that has become routine for many travelers, however, for some, the airport experience can be extremely nerve-wracking and overwhelming — especially for individuals with unique intellectual and developmental disabilities. This year, Allegiant, in partnership with the Arc of the United States, will continue to host Wings for Autism/Wings for All events around the country.
Photos courtesy of Allegiant
Wings for Autism/Wings for All is an airport “rehearsal” specially designed by The Arc for individuals with cognitive disabilities, their families and aviation professionals. We work collaboratively with the Arc, airport and TSA personnel to carry out each event and hope the trial flights help to alleviate some of the stress that families who have a child on the spectrum often experience when traveling by air. During the event, participants check in to receive their boarding passes, pass through the TSA security checkpoint and wait in the boarding area to board an Allegiant airplane. The families are also given a presentation on the aircraft’s features, in-flight safety protocols and take-off procedures. The goal is to simulate the airport experience as closely as possible while also ensuring that all event participants are comfortable and understand that this is a safe learning environment. For that reason, we do not close the aircraft doors and the plane does not move — allowing participants who may not be as comfortable staying on the plane the opportunity to get off at any time. “Hosting the Wings for Autism/Wings for All events is part of our initiative to make travel more accessible for those facing medical challenges,” said Hilarie Grey, managing director of corporate communications. “Airports
and airplanes can be full of overstimulating variables, such as big crowds, bright lights and loud noises over the intercoms and when overhead bins are opened and closed. We are thrilled to partner with The Arc to break down barriers of travel and help families experience the vacations they dream of taking.” The Wings program is equally as important for our airport staff and flight crews and provides them with the opportunity to observe, interact and deliver their services in a structured learning environment — improving their disability competency and processes for accommodating ALL passengers who fly. We have seen first-hand the success of these events and it always puts a smile on our team members’ faces when we hear of a family that was able to go on a trip because of their experience. Our partnership with The Arc of the United States has made a lasting impact in the lives of so many people who are now confident to travel by air. If you are interested in learning more about the Wings for Autism/Wings for All program, please visit thearc.org/our-initiatives/travel

TOP 100! Allegiant receives an important award By Kerry McGee
Whether they’re in our offices in Las Vegas, taking care of you up in the air, or handling your luggage and checking you in at the gate, our employees are talking about how we are among the best of the best. And it’s all for good reason! Last month we were honored with a Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award, recognizing Allegiant as one of the nation’s top 100 best places to work in 2020! Glassdoor is one of the world’s largest job and recruiting sites, and the award is based on feedback from employees who voluntarily provide details about their job, work environment, benefits, compensation and more.
“We’re so proud to receive this recognition, because it comes directly from our employees. It means we are succeeding in our efforts to engage employees and creating a culture where they feel welcomed and valued,” said Rebecca Henry, vice president of people services. Along with sincere reviews about our experiences, the culture, and great leaders, comes a whole lot of pride! “I am proud to work for a company that allows me to give my children the experience of traveling and the experience of different cultures, which provides such an amazing learning opportunity for them. I am also proud to work with such a great group of women on my team who support our company every day.” – Aileen Smith, employee relations specialist “I am #AllegiantProud! Working for an airline that allows me to be home every night has been amazing for me and my family.”- Robert Scott, first officer

Seat belts must be fastened ANY TIME the seat belt sign is on, during taxi, takeoff and landing. Once the seat belt sign is turned off, you may walk around the cabin. Due to unexpected turbulence, it is strongly recommended that you keep your seat belt fastened any time while in your seat. Allegiant’s exit seating policy does not allow the use of seat belt extensions in the exit seats due to tripping hazards.
Unlabeled seats or seats manufactured before Jan. 1, 1981, are not acceptable. Child restraint seats are to be placed into a window seat and secured with an aircraft seat belt.
PHOTOS & VIDEOS ONBOARD
The use of small cameras or mobile devices for photography and video is permitted onboard provided you keep the purpose of your photography and video to capturing personal events. Photographing or recording other customers or airline personnel without their express consent is prohibited. Airline personnel reserve the right to prohibit photos and videos onboard the aircraft if it becomes a disturbance to them or other passengers.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Allegiant is forbidden to serve alcoholic beverages to anyone who appears to be intoxicated or who has not yet reached the age of 21. It is a violation of federal regulations to drink alcoholic beverages during a flight unless they have been served by Allegiant personnel.
SMOKING
CHILD RESTRAINT SEATS
Federal Aviation Administration requires that all child restraint seats used on planes meet federal safety standards. Acceptable seats bear proper labeling
“THIS RESTRAINT IS CERTIFIED FOR USE IN MOTOR VEHICLES AND AIRCRAFT" from the manufacturer.
Smoking, the use of other tobacco products, e-cigarettes and other similar smoking devices are not permitted on any Allegiant flight. Federal law imposes fines of $1,000 for smoking and up to $2,000 for any attempt to disable an aircraft smoke detector.
