STIHL Weedeater Winner!! Congratulations to Rodney Drish! Rodney was the winner of the free STIHL Weedeater being given away at the Andalusia Open House Event as a door prize. Most of their festivities took place inside due to the rain, but it looks like they still had a great time!! Great Job SunSouth Andalusia!
During the Open House in Montgomery the 1940 Ford Club of Montgomery brought in some of their cars, and members of the Southern Antique Iron Association brought in their tractors for display. The team got everyone involved by having the customers vote on their favorite for the best in show. The customers really seemed to enjoy the old cars and tractors. They also had two radio stations there promoting the event by live remote which really helped to get people to the store! Great Job guys!!
Reggie Britt and the Samson Cub Scout Pack 91 had an exciting time touring our store. The morning was full of questions and enthusiasm as the boys enjoyed a hands-on experience and the inside comfort of our John Deere Tractors. They learned about the different types of machines and implements used in our farming industry, including the John Deere brand as well as competitive equipment, and also got to see the parts and service departments in full operation. We would like to thank the Samson Cub Scouts Pack 91 for showing interest in our business!!
Kevin Harrell, from our Blakely store, and his wife welcomed their beautiful baby girl into the world on March 30, 2012! Her name is Kenley Brock Harrell, and she weighed 7lbs 9oz. What a little angel!! Congratulations to you both! We are all so excited for you!

SunSouth has added a new brand to its family of products! Seven of our locations now offer Honda Power Equipment including Generators, Tillers, Water Pumps and some Walk-Behind Lawn Mowers!!
The Carrollton Store had a wonderful turnout at their Open House! They estimate to have brought in over 400 people, and reported great sales for the day. There was plenty of good food to eat, and a lot of great prizes to give away!! They are already making plans for an even better event next year! Congratulations on a very successful Open House!
SunSouth of Dothan hosted the Drive Green Customer Event on March 24th! They had 3 competitive Kubota tractors that customers could drive alongside the John Deere tractors as well as John Deere factory instructors onsite to answer questions! Those that came out to take the Drive Green Challenge learned just how user friendly our products are and were able to see the competition up close and personal! Everyone seemed to have a great time and we thank Dewayne and his team for teaching us something new!!

The West Georgia 2 Cycle Club held a “Ride for Education” event to help raise money for their scholarship fund that is awarded to a student going into the field of agriculture! Our Carrollton store was one of their stops during their 40 mile ride thru Carroll County! The Carrollton team provided refreshments for the approximate 30 tractors in the ride! What a great cause to participate in!!
