Stan and Flo Price planted the seeds that would become Sunterra over 50 years ago. What grew into a vertically integrated group of production, processing and retail companies started small on their family farm, raising superior hogs in Acme, Alberta. The Price’s commitment to family values, farm to fork operations and community loyalty allowed Sunterra Market to become what it is today. And the name? It was born from the very things that helped cultivate their business — the sun and the earth. We are an Alberta-based business made up of farmers, butchers, chefs, bakers and so much more. Our team wholeheartedly cares about quality, sustainability and supporting our local partners and communities. With a unique vertical integration structure, we are able to control every aspect of what we do. All the pork you’ll find in our markets is from our very own Sunterra Farms. It is processed at Sunterra Meats where we use the highest standard food safety and processing techniques. The pork is then sold fresh and delivered to Soleterra d’Italia to be crafted into hams, salamis and cured meats. We have also strengthened our roots in agriculture by growing fresh, ripe-picked produce at Sunterra Greenhouse. You’ll find strawberries and tomatoes from Sunterra Greenhouse as well as Sunterra Farms pork and Soleterra d’Italia meats on Sunterra Market shelves across the province — but the story doesn’t end there. Our talented market team members turn all these products and more into fresh, wholesome meal offerings for you to take home to your family or enjoy in-market. Roast in a preheated oven at 325F (165C) following the roasting time chart. Baste the ham with glaze every 30 minutes until it has reached an internal temperature of 140F (60C). Remove the foil for the last 15 minutes to get a crisp outer layer.

Preheat your oven to 350F. Remove the spatchcock turkey from its bag and place it skin-side-up on a flat roasting sheet. Roast until the internal temperature is 170F in the breast and 180F in the thigh (approx. 30-35 minutes per kg). Once roasted, transfer to a carving board and let rest for 20 minutes before carving.
