SUNY Canton Dual Degrees Working together, representatives from SUNY Canton and its partner universities develop an agreement that integrates SUNY Canton’s programs with a bachelor’s program from the partner university. The students take courses from their home university and SUNY Canton in combinations that allow them to meet the requirements of two bachelor’s degrees. All SUNY Canton courses, except the internship, are delivered in the asynchronous online format.

Partnerships SUNY Canton invites international educational institutions to contact the Office of International Initiatives to explore our common interests in dual-degree programs and other collaboration opportunities. While earning a degree from their home universities, students will take courses delivered online by SUNY Canton and earn a SUNY Canton degree. Courses from both institutions will earn credits toward each degree. The two degrees will typically be earned within four years, sometimes including summer study. Within SUNY Canton programs are individual courses or clusters of courses of interest. These courses can provide professional training in many areas of management, finance, security, leadership and technology. This professional training can also be delivered via videoconferencing or face-to-face workshops. SUNY Canton will work with universities and business and industry to develop training of interest. SUNY Canton allows students to select a three or five week program in the United States. Take part in the Planet Canton experience and gain applicable credits to our dual degree programs, visit with SUNY Canton students and tour nearby attractions. The program also allows you to learn more about American culture during short stays with host families.

With a number of international students and staff from 20 different countries, SUNY Canton’s campus is rich with different cultures and perspectives.
