F OR I MMEDIATE P RESS R ELEASE 02-16-09 F URNISHING A LCOHOL TO M INORS A RREST On February 14, 2009 officers from the Auburn Police Department and the Lewiston Police Department participated in a multijurisdictional underage alcohol enforcement detail. Members of the Androscoggin County Alcohol Enforcement team developed information of a party with underage drinkers and responded to 141 Winter Street in Auburn to investigate. 20 y/o Benjamin Duplissis was arrested for Furnishing a Place for Minors to Consume Alcohol. Duplissis was released on $100 cash bail. 24 y/o Timothy Turner of Lewiston was arrested for Violation of Conditions of Release. Eight summonses were issued for Consumption of Alcohol by Minors. The Androscoggin County Alcohol Enforcement Team is a collaboration between the Auburn, Lewiston and Lisbon Police Departments, Androscoggin County Sheriffs Department and Healthy Androscoggin. The team is funded through grants provided by Healthy Androscoggin and the Maine Office of Substance Abuse.
