New Programme to Connect People Through Cooking

Bupa New Zealand has partnered with the NZ Nutrition Foundation to offer the Just Cook Healthy Ageing programme to communities. The programme aims to connect people through cooking and teach basic cooking skills, increase knowledge of basic nutrition and build confidence for older individuals who may be learning to cook for the first time. The Just Cook Healthy Ageing programme caters to a wide range of people, from those who have never cut an onion to those who love cooking and want to rediscover their passion. As people age, their nutritional requirements change and the programme focuses on teaching people about reading labels and the key food groups they need to eat to support their health. The programme is an excellent opportunity for individuals to develop new skills and improve their overall well-being.
