INDOOR FOOTBALL


 Futsal

is a variant of football that is played on a smaller playing surface and mainly played indoors.  The objective of the game is to score goals in the opposite goal posts.  A match is played by two teams of 5 players (one of which is goalkeeper)


Its name is derived from the Portuguese futebol de salão and the Spanish fútbol de salón (colloquially fútbol sala), which can be translated as "hall football" or "indoor football".

The kit is made up of: › A jersey or shirt with sleeves › Shorts › Socks and shinguards made out of rubber or

plastic › Shoes with rubber soles. 

The goalkeeper is allowed to wear long trousers and a different coloured kit, to distinguish himself from the other players in the team and the referee

GOALKEEPER THROW. It must be thrown from the penalty area within 4 seconds  SIDE KICK: It must be kicked from the place where the ball went out  CENTRE KICK: At the beginning of the match or after each goal is scored  CORNER KICK: From the corner mark when the ball goes out by the goal line 


FOULS 

FOUL: the opponent must keep 5 m away from the ball

PENALTY KICK: when a foul is committed inside the penalty area (It is taken from 6 metres)

DOUBLE PENALTY KICK: After the sixth foul is committed the non-offending team gets DP (from10 metres)


TECHNIQUES DRIVING: move forward with the ball  CONTROL: dominate the ball to be in optimum position  SHOOTING: kick the ball to get the goal  DRIBBLING: control the ball avoiding other players  PASSING: pass the ball to others in your team 

IN DEFENCE:

1.Steal the ball 2.Protect the goal 3.Block passes and kicks

IN ATTACK:

1.Keep the ball 2.Move forward driving or passing the ball 3. Score goal
