A game played by two teams on a rectangular court divided by a high net, in which both teams use up to three hits to ground the ball on the opposing team's side of the net.

  The

ball is usually played with the hands or arms, but players can legally strike or push (short contact) the ball with any part of the body.   They may touch the ball as many as three times.   Volleyball uses "rally scoring" which means a point is scored on every turn.   The first team to score 25 points (and be two points ahead) awarded the set.   MATCHES are best-of-five sets and the fifth set (if necessary) is usually played to 15 points.


  The

team makes a kill, grounding the ball on the opponent's court and winning the rally or   The team commits a fault and loses the rally. So… The team that wins the rally is awarded a point, and serves the ball to start the next rally



  If

the team who served wins the rally, scores a point and continues serving

the team who served looses the rally, the other team scores a point recovering the ball and THEY MUST ROTATE TO SERVE
