Since July, more than ten-thousand three hundred metric tons of essential supplies were delivered to children in Somalia by air, land and sea routes. With support from UNICEF’s Supply Division in Denmark, forty full charter jumbo jet flights carrying close to 4,000 tons of supplies to Kenya for onward dispatch to Somalia were also organised.
