Biometric Finger Print Based Solutions for Asset Protection and Access Control. Today the need to sufficiently protect people, infrastructure, data or cash continues to grow in terms of importance. Managing safety, controlling and auditing access that includes time and attendance, is of paramount importance.
Biometric Security, IP Networked - Globally! With advances in technology and through IP controlled biometric hardware, business software applications can now be managed by non-technicians and the intelligence in hardware devices need not be known in order to operate them effectively. Business today must be able to connect, integrate and manage asset protection security devices and systems with simple yet powerful enterprise infrastructure control and management.
About Connective Touch Connective Touch (CT) has invented and brought to market, with protected IP, four unique door security systems that will suit multi markets. These have numerous accreditations from established and recognised Police and Government bodies. The products are activated by biometric fingerprint recognition and are integrated into standard door furniture and existing access control systems. Following several years of research and development, The Smartpro web based’cloud’ solution has been developed to work with and intergrated into the well known Paxton Net2 facilities management system. www.paxton.co.uk. The founder has mobilised a strong team supported by an eminent Advisory Board comprising of Industryspecialists and academics. Based in, Warwickshire, CT manufactures its products locally in the UK. At the heart of the business we have one goal which is to offer reliable, robust products and services that can accommodate the need of our customers. To ensure our products offer a greater “value use” to then and user than the “cash value” they have paid. To further enable the most vulnerable amongst our communities to gain greater independence by using them.

Smart Pro
Biometric Finger Print based Solutions for Access Protection and Access Control Today the need to sufficiently project people, infrastructure, data or cash continues to grow in terms of importance. Managing safety, controlling and auditing access that includes time and attendance, is paramount importance.
What is it? SmartPro is a PC based security system for controlling access through doors using Finger print biometrics. It features an Internet Protocol (IP) controlled biometric reader that works in harmony with most established facilities management systems. It can be managed by non-technicians and the ease of the SmartPro reader is such that can “plug into” any access control processing unit. SmartPro has its own biometric enrolment software that integrates with these facilities management systems. The data synchronization software compliments this integration. SmartPro has been integrated with the Paxton Net2 SQL database. Net2 plus has an on-board TCP/IP to allow direct connection to a computer network. This can save time, money and result in a better, more resilient system. Net2 plus control units can be connected together using a dedicated RS485 network. This reduces the TCP/IP network points required for larger systems. SmartPro solution can be implemented as either local or wide area networks.
Technical Infomation The Smartpro Solution requires a Fingerprint Biometric enrolment unit and a Fingerprint Biometric verification unit. The verification unit is connected to the Paxton ACU and is typically installed by the door that requires “access in”. The ACU enables a second CT verification to be installed on the inside of a door enabling “access out” of the building.
Basic Hardware requirements Hardware Biometric FP verification Door Unit Biometric Enrolment Desk top unit – Minimum one is required for each installation Paxton ACU (access Control Unit) – 1 per door or reader PC as per Specification – 1 per site (see 0003) 1 Server for databases (can be within PC) housed at main building data line - Cat5 cable to be used to daisy chain the controllers together. BIOMETRIC PRODUCT FAMILY.
Your key free future...
The Connective Touch product family has been developed to be fitted without the need for major build refit or upgrade as it uses existing locking devices. It replaces the external door furniture with a biometric controlled component and or linked to a centralised access control security system.
