appy New Year, PQ! After all the winter festivities we are heading into spring and summer with an energized sense of community action for our community events. We need to take on funding our events at a whole new level due to the elimination of funding for PQ. We're adopting a super heroes theme to keep our traditions going and have put on our fundraising capes as PQ Heroes (Fiesta & Fireworks Committee Members/Volunteers), and local restaurants and event sponsors are all in. Visit our community calendar for dine-out fundraisers being held in February and March for the whole family. Together, we are committed to being funded for our two big events coming in May and July: the 25th Fiesta de los Penasquitos & Parade, May 3, with this year’s theme of PQ Local Heroes; and the community-sponsored PQ Fireworks Show & Festival on July 3. Traditionally the first weekend in May is our time to celebrate our thriving community, with events for the whole family:
