Section 4 - FIRST AID MEASURES After inhalation: If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. After skin contact: In case of contact, immediately wash skin with soap and copious amounts of water. After eye contact: Contamination of the eyes should be treated by immediate and prolonged irrigation with copious amounts of water. Assure adequate flushing of the eyes by separating the eyelids with fingers. After ingestion: If swallowed, wash out mouth with water provided person is conscious. Call a physician. Advice to physician: Treat according to symptoms Section 5 – FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

Suitable extinguishing media: If material on fire or involved in fire: Do not extinguish fire unless flow can be stopped. Use water in flooding quantities as fog. Cool all affected containers with flooding quantities of water. Apply water from as far a distance as possible. Use foam, dry chemical, or carbon dioxide. Specific hazards: When heated to decompose it emits acrid smoke and fumes Unusual fire and explosion Hazards: During fire container may explode. Specific personal protective equipments for fire fighters: Wear selfcontained breathing air apparatus and protective clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes. Fire fighting procedures: Remain upwind while fire fighting. Section 6 –ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Personal protection procedure to be followed in case of leak or spill: Evacuate area and keep personnel upwind. Shut off leak if there is no risk. Procedure of personal precaution: Wear self-contained breathing air apparatus, rubber boots, and heavy rubber gloves. Methods for cleaning up: Spills and leakage: Section 7 –HANDLING AND STORAGE Handling: Prevent breathing vapours. Prevent contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Avoid prolonged or repeated exposure. Storage: Store in a cool place, away from heat and flame.

Engineering measures: Maintain eye wash fountain and quick-drench facilities in work area. Warning: suck-back into container may cause rupture. Use back-flowpreventive device in piping. Generation of electrostatic charge may occur. Provide emergency suck off system. Respiratory Protection: During fire if the exposure limit is exceeded and engineering controls are not feasible, wear a supplied air full-facepiece respirator, airline hood, or full-facepiece self-contained breathing air apparatus. Eye Protection: Use chemical safety goggles and/or a full face shield where splashing is possible. Maintain eye wash fountain in work area. Hand Protection: Wear gloves of impervious material. Body Protection: Wear impervious protective clothing, including boots, gloves, lab coat, apron or coveralls, as appropriate, to prevent skin contact.
