Frequently asked questions Q. Are all the park facilities free of charge? A. Many of our facilities are free, although a few are chargeable.

Q. Is finance available? A. Finance packages and guaranteed finance are available subject to status and deposit criteria.

Q. Is it near to the beach? Yes, the park overlooks Tunstall beach and there are several others within driving distance.

Q. What ongoing costs will I have to pay? A. You will have to pay electricity, gas, insurance and annual site fees. Unlike many other parks in the area, water rates are included in the site fees.

Q. Do you have a fishing pond? Yes, we have a fully stocked fishing pond and the beach is ideal for sea fishing – Sand le Mere is the home of the European Open Beach Fishing Championships. Q. Can I bring pets? A. Yes, we are a dog-friendly holiday park. Q. Can I live at Sand le Mere all the year around? Sand le Mere cannot be used as your permanent residence but with a long holiday season, including 12 months on selected holiday home and lodge pitches, you have the flexibility to enjoy your holiday home whenever it suits you.

Q. Can I sublet my holiday home? Yes, you can sublet a few different ways, either privately or possibly even through ourselves on park. Q. Do you cater for people with disabilities? Of course. The park is relatively flat and our complex has no steps and 5 disabled toilets. We have many charities that own a holiday home here for that reason.

Q. Can I choose the location of my caravan? A. Yes, you can choose from a selection of pitch locations.
